    The Technical University of Cotopaxi, through this social Project, complies with its Vision and Mission precepts. This research allows the opportunity to work helping to meet the demands of training and professional development into the population, as a way to achieve an inclusive, integral, fair, equitable and humanist society. Through the use of the ICTs this scientific and technological research project confront the problem of lack of information and lack of social inclusion existing as an alternative to the educational development of students with disabilities who wish to enroll as students in the University. The most important matter of this project is the clear diffusion and demonstration about the use of ICTs in offices as a means to improve the daily development in this activity though abilities and skills, improving their self-esteem, education level and their own and their families’ economic income. This information is intended to convey the proper application of ICTs through the different existing systems, especially Jaws and braille for the blind, to avoid situations that result in technological illiteracy and mainly in social exclusion.La Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, mediante el presente Proyecto de carácter social, da cumplimiento a los preceptos que constan en su Visión y Misión. Esta investigación permite trabajar contribuyendo a la satisfacción de las demandas de formación y superación profesional dentro del avance científico, tecnológico de la población, para de esta manera lograr una sociedad incluyente, solidario, justa, equitativa y humanista. Este proyecto de investigación científica- tecnológica aborda el problema de la falta de información y de inclusión social existente, mediante el uso de las TICS como una alternativa para el desarrollo educativo de los estudiantes con capacidades diferentes que desean incorporarse a la Universidad. Lo importante del presente proyecto es la difusión clara y demostrativa sobre el uso de las TICS en las oficinas como una vía para el perfeccionamiento del desarrollo diario en esta actividad; a través de habilidades y destrezas mejorando la autoestima, la educación, el estándar económico y el de sus familias. Información que tiene como fin transmitir sobre la correcta aplicación de estas a través de los diferentes sistemas informáticos que existen, en especial el Jaws y Brielle para los ciegos, para evitar situaciones que lleguen en alfabetización tecnológica y sobre todo exclusión social

    In the present work it is part of the result of the scientific research work, where it is made known the most common problems that are presented in the interior of the university referring to the analysis of the gender equity, it begins giving to know the social factors And biological differences in which men and women are differentiated within society, the most common problems faced by women worldwide, in Ecuador and particularly in the UTC; The methodology is framed within exploratory research, conclusive descriptive and causal, through surveys applied to those involved, from which they have had access to their criteria and experiences regarding Thematic, analysis of situations, recording of facts, exchange of experiences, among others.     In spite of different methods application, the English language learning in Ecuador is still deficient, so this research goal is to develop an interactive didactic guide for teaching-learning English through music for Fifth year’s students of Basic Education, “Ciudad de Quito” Private Adventist College. This research is based on conceptual pedagogy, constructivist theory, methods, English language teaching techniques recognized in the teaching-learning didactic process and supported by field and bibliographical research. Research techniques were applied; interviews for school authorities and surveys applied to teachers and students in order to know the criteria for positive change in and out of the classroom. It was possible to conclude that this proposal work was applied in a clear simple way thinking about the child as a fundamental axis, and that it is useful for the teacher as a valid tool in the classroom. It was possible to deduce that it is desirable to make certain changes in the way classroom activities are carried out, continuous teacher training and technology application, thus also study materials with a view to reach integral development that improves performance school, and make it more efficient. They raise the learning desire, activities that motivate the child to develop meaningful learning are those that must be implemented regularly, children learn by playing and singing.  A pesar de la aplicación de diferentes métodos, el aprendizaje del idioma ingles en el Ecuador sigue siendo deficiente. Por lo que esta investigación tiene como objetivo Elaborar una guía didáctica interactiva para la enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés a través de la música para estudiantes del quinto año de Educación Básica del Colegio Adventista Particular “Ciudad de Quito. Este trabajo se fundamenta en la pedagogía conceptual, la teoría constructivista, los métodos, técnicas de la enseñanza del idioma inglés reconocidos en el proceso didáctico de la enseñanza-aprendizaje y apoyada por investigaciones de campo y bibliográfica. Se aplicaron las técnicas de investigación; entrevista para las autoridades del plantel y encuestas a profesores y estudiantes con la finalidad de conocer los criterios que permitan lograr un cambio positivo dentro y fuera del aula. Se pudo llegar a la conclusión que esta propuesta que se aplicó de manera clara sencilla pensando en el niño como eje fundamental, y que sirva al maestro como una herramienta válida en el salón de clases. Se pudo deducir, que es conveniente realizar ciertos cambios en la forma que se realizan las actividades en el aula, capacitación permanente del docente, dotación de materiales de estudio, utilización permanente de la tecnología, con miras a alcanzar un desarrollo integral que mejore el rendimiento escolar, y permita ser más eficiente. Y elevar el deseo de aprender, actividades que logren motivar al niño para desarrollar los aprendizajes significativos son las que se deben implementar con frecuencia, los niños aprenden jugando y cantando

    The investigative scope was verified that there is a deficit as far as the low level of communicative development in French Language. It is concerned, that the students present at the end of the Gastronomy Career. It has two backgrounds: low number of classes and the specific objective FOS the French Area, is to apply a curricular planning to the Gastronomy Career in order to develop a good communication in each of these students. In the same goal, it is proposed to improve the skills through some academic and pedagogical changes that have to do with an accurate methodological application by the teachers. This new didactic guide, the students will improve the academic level and the French Specific objectives.Con la realización de esta investigación se pudo comprobar que existen deficiencia en cuanto se refiere al bajo nivel existente de desarrollo comunicativo en el idioma francés, que presentan los estudiantes al culminar la carrera de Gastronomía, esto radica en el reducido número de horas clases y El objetivo Específico FOS del Área de Francés, es aplicar una planificación curricular a la carrera de Gastronomía, para desarrollar una buena comunicación en cada uno de estos estudiantes. En el mismo se propone mejorar las destrezas, a través de algunos cambios académicos y pedagógicos que tengan que ver con la aplicación adecuada de la metodología aplicada por los docentes, con esta nueva guía didáctica, los estudiantes elevaran el nivel académico y el manejo del Francés objetivos específicos FOS

    Nowadays every organization requires possessing converged networks or multiservice support voice traffic, data and video. These new requirements need the engineering staff in networks of any company to develop appropriate designs that have traffic engineering, securities and mechanisms to guarantee ensure service quality. Universities require designs of complex network due to the need for multiple services, as well as its diversity of users makes essential for guidelines and security policies. This is vital in order to minimize risks from against possible attacks to which information is exposed due to the offer of various services to each user.  Toda organización en la actualidad requiere contar con redes convergentes o multiservicio que soporten tráfico de voz, datos y video, estos nuevos requerimientos obligan al personal de ingeniería de redes de toda empresa a elaborar diseños apropiados que cuenten con ingeniería de tráfico,  seguridades y mecanismos que garanticen calidad de servicio.     Until recently, the institutional assessment had not been considered animportant activity, partially because institutional quality improving was notseen as an essential aspect of the teaching global quality. In recent decades,the effort has focused on the curriculum in progress on certain institutionalmanagement methods and on new programs development. Institutionalassessment, which has been implemented, it has often been a practice thathas been dedicated few resources and little organizational attention. It isbelieved necessary to develop a Strategic Plan Proposal for this institution. Itis important to be clear that it is a tool that traces the Educationaldevelopment path, since it makes it possible to adjust and integrate theefforts to successfully reach the goals set out in it and allows orientingactions towards a shared institutional vision achievement. It is veryimportant, because this will accomplish a good teaching performance andhigh education quality. The methods and techniques to be applied aredetermined at this research stage. They are the scientific and statisticalmethods. Among the scientific methods applied are: the documentaryanalysis and the questionnaire survey.Hasta hace un tiempo, la evaluación institucional no había sido considerada una actividad importante, en parte debido a que la mejora de la calidad de la institución no se veía como un aspecto primordial de la calidad global de la enseñanza. En las últimas décadas el esfuerzo ha debido centrarse en el avance del currículo, de determinados métodos de gestión institucional y en el desarrollo de nuevos programas. La evaluación institucional, donde se ha implementado, ha sido con frecuencia una práctica a la que se han dedicado pocos recursos y poca atención organizativa. se cree necesarios desarrollar una propuesta de un Plan Estratégico para ésta institución. Es importante tener claro que el mismo, constituye una herramienta que traza el camino del desarrollo de la Educación, pues posibilita alinear e integrar los esfuerzos para alcanzar con éxito los objetivos en él planteados y permite orientar acciones hacia el logro de una visión institucional compartidaes muy importante, ya que con esto alcanzara un buen desempeño docente y mejor calidad de la educación. Se determinarán además los métodos y técnicas a aplicar en esta fase de la investigación, es decir los métodos científicos y los métodos estadísticos.     From a pedagogical perspective, the teaching and learning of the foreign language requires motivational methodological strategies of a psychological, sociological and pedagogical nature, to generate effective instruction, so that the student knows what to do and how to use the language and what knowledge and skills should have to do it. The lack of it causes in the students a lack of motivation towards learning English. This research aims to study the levels of motivation in that process of oral communication based on tasks is seen as the way to achieve communicative actions guided by the theory of discourse to make effective the English Program of the Cultural Center of Languages. The survey was applied as a research technique to both students and teachers along with multivariate analysis. The data showed that the lack of motivation for oral communication in students is related to the lack of active participation in the class. As well as generating greater interest in the students by the chosen subjects as examples of the situation teachers do not have greater knowledge to apply methodological innovations. The implementation of this proposal should encourage changes in student behavior related to attention, interest, creativity, imagination of students, and participation in the construction of the curriculum; the empirical perspective of the proposal will be endowed with a scientific perspective through Van Dijk's discourse construction theory and its concepts of context and mental representation model.Desde una perspectiva pedagógica, la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma extranjero exige estrategias metodológicas motivacionales de carácter psicológico, sociológico y pedagógico, para generar una instrucción efectiva, de manera que el estudiante sepa qué hacer y cómo utilizar el idioma y qué conocimientos y habilidades debe tener para hacerlo. La carencia de ello provoca en los estudiantes una falta de motivación hacia el aprendizaje del inglés. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo estudiar los niveles de motivación en ese proceso de la comunicación oral basada en tareas se visiona como la manera de lograr acciones comunicativas orientadas por la teoría del discurso para hacer efectivo el Programa de Inglés del Centro Cultural de Idiomas. La encuesta se aplicó como técnica de investigación tanto a estudiantes como a docentes junto al análisis multivariado. Los datos mostraron que la falta de motivación para la comunicación oral en los estudiantes guarda relación con la falta de participación activa en la clase. Así como generar mayor interés en los estudiantes por los asuntos elegidos como ejemplos de la situación docentes no tienen mayor conocimiento para aplicar innovaciones metodológicas. La implementación de esta propuesta debe propiciar modificaciones en el comportamiento estudiantil relacionados con la atención, el interés, la creatividad, la imaginación de los estudiantes, y la participación en la construcción del currículo; la perspectiva empírica de la propuesta será dotada de una mirada científica mediante la teoría de construcción del discurso de Van Dijk y sus conceptos de modelo del contexto y representación mental

    Las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES) en la ciudad de la Latacunga parroquia La Matriz sector El Salto están distribuidas en diferentes actividades  industriales, comerciales, servicios y agricultura clasificadas así por el número de trabajadores de acuerdo a su volumen de ventas y capital social; estas representan el motor del desarrollo económico, social y laboral que cubre las diferentes necesidades de la ciudadanía y son la base fundamental para el  progreso de una población. En el estudio del grado de conocimiento y manejo de las aplicaciones tributarias por parte de las secretarias que laboran en las PYMES de la ciudad de Latacunga se determina el manejo de temas como el Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA), Impuesto a la Renta (IR), Impuesto a los Consumos Especiales (ICE), impuestos con el Municipio entre otros. El resultado de este trabajo ayudo a verificar la importancia que tienen las actividades desarrolladas por parte de las secretarias, ya que en la ciudad de Latacunga  existe un 65% de talento secretarial que conocen sobre las diferentes aplicaciones tributarias así como el uso de formularios para la declaración con el fisco, no obstante durante su vida laboral el llevar a la praxis esta actividad es bastante limitado por cuanto existe un profesional llamado contador que es el encargado de realizar estas actividades antes mencionadas

    ENFERMEDADES PROFESIONALES UN NUEVO DESAFÍO EN EL TRABAJO DE LAS SECRETARIAS GERENCIALES

    El propósito de este artículo científico es realizar un estudio sobre las enfermedades laborables del profesional de secretariado gerencial del cantón Latacunga y a su vez realizar algunas reflexiones acerca de las necesidades que tienen todas las organizaciones de asumir los riesgos laborales como una filosofía organizacional y el desafío de la gerencia en entornos cada vez más cambiantes, y sobre todo mejorar las condiciones laborales y de seguridad de su talento humano. Con esta investigación se logró conocer que el personal que labora en el campo secretarial, desconocen  los riesgos que conlleva en su área laboral, y  sobre la existencia de la cobertura del Seguro Social en las Enfermedades profesionales; en su mayoría no consideran que los riesgos de las enfermedades profesionales afectarían el buen desempeño y se evitarían las ausencias en los puestos de trabajo; el abandono y la pérdida de  su empleo, perjudicando al ingreso familiar y al desarrollo de la ciudad de Latacunga y del país. &nbsp
