    MANAJEMEN MUTU LAYANAN PADA SEKOLAH MENENGAH

     AbstracMutu layanan akan berhasil dalam mencapa itujuannya jika konsumen merasakan kepuasan yang sangat tinggi,dengan kata lain keberhasilan mutu layanan sangat tergantung pada konsumen atau pelanggan dalam arti lembaga yang bermutu selalu memberikan kepuasan kepada pelanggannya. Karena mutu layanan berpusat pada upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan dan keinginan pelanggan serta ketepatan penyampai nya untuk mengimbangi harapan pelanggan. Sehubungan dengan itu maka tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang perencanaan mutu pelayanan, pelaksanaan mutu,  pengendalian mutu layanan, perbaikan mutu layanan serta apa saja yang menjadi hambatan dalam memberikan pelayanan di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah case studi (studi kasus) dengan melakukan secara eksploratif yang bersifat mendalam dengan menganalisis apa yang sebenarnya terjadi di balik fakta atau kasus. Alat pengumpul datanya dengan melakukan wawancara, dekomentasi dan panduan observasi. Selanjutnya untuk analisis data digunakan langlah-langkah yang dibagi dalam tiga bagian yaitu; data reduction, data display dan conclution/verification. Setelah diadakan penelitian, maka didapatkan temuan – temuan sebagai berikut: Perencanaan mutu layanan yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMA Negeri) 1 Sungai Ambawang telah menggambarkan pola yang baik yaitu dengan melibatkan  guru dengan cara mengajak guru membuat program bagi yang ingin berpartisipasi. Pelaksanaan mutu layanan oleh kepala sekolah sudah sesuai dengan program yang dibuat sebelumnya, meskipun masih ada program yang belum terlaksana atau belum tercapai. Pengendalian mutu layanan yang dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah sudah cukup efektif. Perbaikan mutu layanan telah dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah secara terus menerus terutama yang berhubungan dengan proses pembelajaran.   Keyword : Service Qualit

    AbstractThis study aims to describe the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision ofIndustrial Working Practice activities at State Vocational High School 2 Pemangkat. Thisresearch used a qualitative approach on the type of case study. The research subjects werethe principal, the vice principal of public relations, two people of the heads of program,two teachers, and two students of grade XI. All subjects are those who were involved inIndustrial Working Practice activities. The data collection methods used in this researchare interviews, documentation, and observation. The interactive data analysis models usedare the data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing. Thevalidity test of the data used is the credibility test, namely: extension of observations,increasing persistence, and triangulation. The results showed the following: 1) Planningcan be carried out in several stages, they are the arrangement of the school work program,arrangement of Industrial Working Practice program, arrangement of the PrincipalDecree regarding the duties delegation and authority of Industrial Working Practice workteam, and arranging the schedule of activities, 2) This organizing accomplished by thedivision of main task and functions that are completed within job descriptions of eachpersonnel and Industrial Working Practice Guidelines, 3) The implementation was carriedout starting from the process of releasing students, delivering students to the IndustrialWorking Practice location by involving the principal, the working team of IndustrialWorking Practice, and all board of teachers and staff of State Vocational High School 2Pemangkat, and 4) Supervision was carried out by the principal as the leader in theorganization of educational unit.Keywords: Management, Industrial Working Practice, Partnership, Vocational HighSchool, Business and Industrial Worl

    Abstract Provision of work infrastructure is intended to support school activities in order to achieve optimal results.The purpose of this research to describe Management of Infrastructure Facilities in Increasing Productivity at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) Al-Fityan was conducted: 1) planning. 2) Procurement. 3) Organizing. 4) Maintenance. 5) Accountability mechanism. And 6) Inhibiting and supporting factors. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. This research was compiled using primary data and secondary data through interviews, observation and documentation.. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research found that the management of infrastructure facilities in increasing school productivity includes: 1) The planning of infrastructure is categorized as good. 2) Procurement is good. 3) Organizing is good. This can be seen from the decision of the headmaster. 4) Maintenance of infrastructure is very good.. 5) The infrastructure accountability mechanism is good.. 6) Infrastructure inhibiting factors are not too many., while the supporting factors is budget owned for the procurement of infrastructure is adequate and sufficient.The implication of this research is that the school can make optimal planning so that maintenance, procurement and data collection of infrastructure can be well recorded.     AbstrakPermasalahan – permasalahan yang terjadi di madrasah diakibatkan oleh kurangnya mutulayanan yang di dalamnya tidak didukung oleh kepemimpinan transfornasional kepalamadrasah di kota Pontianak dan motivasi kerja guru dalam peningkatan pendidikan. Tujuandari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional danmotivasi kerja kepala madrasah terhadap mutu layanan guru MTs swasta Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampeldalam penilitian ini sebanyak 70 guru yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik sample random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran angket dandokumentasi. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikanantara kepemimpinan tranformasional kepala madrasah dan motivasi kerja terhadap mutulayanan kepada guru MTs Kota Pontianak.     ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and principalcommunication on the achievement motivation of SDN teachers in Semparuk Districtpartially or jointly. This research uses a quantitativ approach with a descriptive method.The measuring instruments used in this research are transformational leadershipinstruments, principals' communication instruments and achievement motivationinstruments using a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing was carried out in this research usingsimple and multiple regression techniques. The main finding in this research is thatpartially there is a positive influence of transformational leadership and principalcommunication on teacher achievement motivation. In the F test found a significancevalue of 0.000 <0.05 and an R2 value of 0.587, meaning that Ha is accepted proving thatthere is a positive and significant influence together with transformational leadership(X1) and principal communication (X2) on teacher achievement motivation (Y) of 58,7%.The conclusion of this research is that there is a positive influence of transformationalleadership on teacher achievement motivation, there is an influence of principalcommunication on teacher achievement motivation, and there is an inf luence oftransformational leadership and principal communication on teacher achievementmotivation of 58,7%.Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Communication, Achievement Motivatio

    The Implementation of Standards of Educators and Education Personnel in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency

    This study aims to obtain comprehensive information on the Implementation of Standards of Educators and Education Personnel in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency related to How the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel and any factors that inhibit and support in implementing it and what efforts are made by the Headmaster in implementing the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data source consists of Headmaster, Educators and Education Personnel. The data collection procedure is done by observation, structured and in-depth interviews, and documentation. Validity checking the results is performed by member check, reference sufficiency, and triangulation. Data analysis used is a qualitative analysis that is by describing and interpreting data. The result of the conclusion is as follows: (1) Work Program of Educator Standard and Education Personnel at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency has been running well, (2) Education Standard and Education Personnel in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency also very good, because in terms of applying these standards the Headmaster does not have difficulties, as all school personnel have an awareness of their duties and responsibilities. (3) Communications conducted in implementing the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency is also well underway. (4) The supporting factors faced by the Headmaster in implementing the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya Regency are all Educators and Education Personnel meet the Educational qualifications required by the Government and the educator has been certified. The inhibiting factor is lack of library personnel who specifically manage the library and laboratory professionals in their field. How to overcome these obstacles is the Headmaster provides an additional duty to the teacher to become head of the library and the laboratory, meanwhile for library staff and laboratory personnel the school assigns the honorarium. (5) The Headmaster’s efforts in implementing the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya of Kubu Raya Regency is by involving them in the preparation of the RKAS, establishing TPS and TPK, IHT, actively encouraging in the MGMP. Educators and Education Personnel improve their academic qualification and competency standards through various activities, including further studies, partnerships with other schools, programmed discussions, etc. The competence owned Educator, of course, affects the learning process and improving the quality of learners learn

    Abstract This study aims to determine teacher perceptions of the educational profession. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. The results showed that: (1) teachers' perceptions of the task in terms of the selection aspect show that teachers had an opinion on the need to use their knowledge and experience in choosing information  related to preparing Lesson Plans; (2) teacher perceptions in terms of organizational aspects show the teacher sees the need to distinguish true information related to education and distinguish between the main tasks of teachers and those that are not appropriate tasks; (3) teacher perceptions in terms of interpretation show that teachers believe the educational profession is a noble profession; (4) teacher perceptions in terms of gender indicate that female teachers have stronger perceptions than male teachers; (5) teachers' perceptions in terms of educational background show that teachers with a Master degree have higher perceptions than teachers with a bachelor degree / Diploma two / High School equivalent; (6) teachers' perceptions in terms of years of service, it was found that teachers who had a tenure of 15 to 24 years had higher perceptions than teachers who had other tenure.    Keywords: Teacher's Perceptions, Educational Profession

This research uses qualitative descriptive approach. the results of the research that has been done are 1) School Committee SMKN 1 Teluk Keramat has performed its role as an advisory agency, as a supporter agency, as a controlling agency, and as mediator agency; 2) Supporting factors for the school committee include a) Good collaboration of schools; b) Authority granted by the school to the school committee in carrying out its duties; c) Compulsory responsibility of completing the compulsory education of 12 years of learners; d) To carry out the mandate of the Law on National Education System Number 20 of 2003 and Permendikbud Number 75 concerning School Committees; 3) Inhibiting factors for school committees are a) Lack of coordination between schools and school committees; b) Be more concerned with personal matters than school committee duties; c) lack of awards earned as school committees; d) Ineffective committee managers due to the distance from schools; 4) Not all school committee members are actively involved

    The process of reorganization of the application of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, the moratorium of civil servants and the limited quota of participants on attending education and training leads to two factors of job satisfaction, namely organization, and management. This study aims to (1) determine the influence of leadership emotional intelligence with job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province; (2) To determine the effect of interpersonal communication with job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province; (3) To determine the influence of leadership emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication on job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province. The results obtained from this study are the emotional intelligence of leaders significantly influence the job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province, which means that the better the emotional intelligence of their leaders, the higher the job satisfaction of employees of the West Kalimantan Provincial Education and Culture Office. Second, interpersonal communication has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province, which means that the better interpersonal communication that exists between employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province, the higher the job satisfaction of employees. Third, leadership emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication together have a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province. It means that the better the emotional intelligence of leaders and interpersonal communication that exists between employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province, the higher the job satisfaction of the employees
