Watermarking Based Image Authentication for Secure Color Image Retrieval in Large Scale Image Databases
An important facet of traditional retrieval models is that they retrieve images and videos and consider their content and context reliable. Nevertheless, this consideration is no longer valid since they can be faked for many reasons and at different degrees thanks to powerful multimedia manipulation software. Our goal is to investigate new ways detecting possible fake in social network platforms. In this paper, we propose an approach that assets identification faked images by combining standard content-based image retrieval (CBIR) techniques and watermarking. We have prepared the wartermarked image database of all images using LSB based watermarking. Using gabor features and trained KNN, user is able to retrieve the matching query image. The retrieved image is authenticated by extracting the watermark and matching it again with the test image
Review of Watermarking and Color Image Retrieval
The development of information technology and network technology is increasing rapidly. In network technology, multimedia communication applications are used in various formats such as text, image, audio and video. These formats are spreading very fast over the internet without any security and they can be easily copied by anyone without any prior protection and their feature can be easily copied. Nowadays the copyright infringement and piracy become very serious problem. Because of this problem, watermarking technology is used to protect the color image. In a recent year, several watermarking techniques are available such as spatial watermarking technique and frequency based watermarking technique. Frequency watermarking technique is used to differentiate the transformation of the wave and the discrete cosine transformation but transform watermarking techniques cannot provide adequate protection of image or data. This provides a weak answer to the problem of geometrical attack such as noise attack, rotation attack and translation attack. Therefore the use of spatial watermarking technique is recommended through the use of least significant bits, patch work and coding to reduce the problem of geometrical attack. This technique is comparatively simple. It can survive simple operations such as cutting and adding noise. In this document, we propose the watermark scheme based on spatial domain for color images. This scheme uses the Sobel and Canny edge detection methods to determine border information of the Luminance and chrominance components of the color image
Test Experiment for Time-Reversal Symmetry Breaking Superconductivity
A new experiment is proposed to probe the time-reversal symmetry of a
superconductor. It is shown that a time-reversal symmetry breaking
superconductor can be identified by the observation of a fractional flux in
connection with a Josephson junction in a special geometry.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures available upon request, Revtex, MIT-CMT-OC
Review of Document Clustering Methods and Similarity Measurement Methods
The process of document clustering is nothing but the data mining method used for grouping of same items together. The clustering approach is aiming to identify the required structures from the input data as well as arranging them into the subgroup. There are many clustering algorithms presented by various authors already such as k-means clustering, Agglomerative Clustering, EM methods, direct clustering methods etc. Each clustering method is having its own advantages and disadvantages. The similarity measure used to measure the similarity between two clusters of input dataset derived from different or similar algorithms. In this paper we are first presenting the review over the document clustering and its different methods, and then later we taking the review of similarity measure method. The techniques of similarity measurements discussed in this paper are used for single viewpoint only. Finally, the limitations of this method are introduced.

Large complex ovarian cyst managed by laparoscopy
Complex ovarian cyst with secondary infection is a rare disease that hardly responds to the usual antibiotic treatment. Most of the times, it hampers day to day activities of women. It is commonly known to cause pain and fever. To our surprise, in our case the cyst was large enough to compress the ureter and it was adherent to the surrounding structures. Laparoscopic removal of the cyst was done and specimen was sent for histopathological examination.
ATMOSPHERIC CO2 GAS AND TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT ROBOT
In the age of industrial revolution the atmosphere is disturbed by the human acts one of which is the global warming, a major threat of this century. Thus in order to control these adverse effects an monitoring of atmospheric CO2 and temperature robotic system is developed the system to collect data through various sensors. It gives a review of these systems based on existing technologies and also proposes an economical and generic automatic environment pollution control system based on wireless sensors with GSM for environment pollution control system controller and remote monitoring system. This system has simpler features of low cost and effective with less power consumption using sensors for remote monitoring and controlling devices which are controlled via SMS using a GSM module.
The system informs user about any abnormal conditions like temperature rise, even concentration of CO2 via SMS from the GSM module to the higher authority mobile and actions are taken accordingly by the authority personnel. In future, the industry will be able to monitor and control the parameter by GSM technologies, and to provide safety and security for humans
A Review on Grid Integration Challenges of Wind Energy Systems
In recent decades, the strengthening of electric energy security and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions acquired great traction. The integration of large-scale intermittent renewable energy resources (RER) such as wind energy into existing electrical systems has risen dramatically in recent years. In the last few years, however, this integration creates several operational and control issues that impede the process. Grid functioning must be reliable and stable. This article will look at the problems that have been documented as a result of the recommended solutions techniques and the integration of wind energy Among the many difficulties, Generation uncertainty, power quality difficulties, angular and voltage stability, and reactive power support are all factors to consider. The ability to ride through faults is examined and explored. Aside from that, there are financial, environmental, and political factors to consider
AWARENESS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE ABOUT DENGUE AMONG SOCIETY
Objective: The survey about dengue was carried out to gather the information about dengue fever, create awareness among the people. To determined the index of knowledge, attitude and awareness among the surveyed population about dengue.
Methods: The questionnaire was prepared under the guidance of a pharmacologist. Pilot study was conducted among ten nos. of the population prior actual study. Questionnaire was revised and finalized according to an input of the pilot study. This questionnaire presented to the hundred peoples of different age group. Method involves face to face interview and seeking answers for different questions. Responses were recorded for further analysis and interpretation. Responses were sorted and analyzed. Different questions were categorized into the domain of awareness, knowledge and attitude. Data was presented in the form of graphs.
Results: Percentage of awareness, knowledge and attitude found to be 59, 44, 52 respectively. It is observed that three parameters are almost in the range of fifty percent. Precautions plays vital role in prevention of Dengue.
Conclusion: it is concluded that there is scope for improvement for creating awareness, knowledge and attitude among the surveyed population as representative of the general population. This may help to overcome the risk of this communicable and deadly disease
Image Segmentation and Classification for Medical Image Processing
Segmentation and labeling remains the weakest step in many medical vision applications. This paper illustrates an approach based on watershed transform which are designed to solve typical problems encountered in various applications, and which are controllable through adaptation of their parameters. Two of these modules are presented: the lung cancer detection, a method for the segmentation of cancer regions from CT images, a watershed algorithm for image segmentation and brain tumor detection from MRI images. Various GLCM features along with some statistical features are used for classification using Neural network and Support Vector Machine (SVM). We describe the principles of the algorithms and illustrate their generic properties by discussing the results of both applications in 2D MRI images of Brain tumor and CT images of lung cancer
