Chinas Printmedien und deren Rolle im politischen System

Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich mit den Funktionen von Printmedien in der Volksrepublik China anhand des Milchpulverskandals im Jahr 2008 auseinander. Ausgehend von der Theorie von Medienfunktionen in demokratischen und autokratischen Systemen und der Mediensystementwicklung in China seit 1949, wurde ein empirisches Beispiel gewählt um die Forschungsfragen zu beantworten und die Hypothese zu untersuchen. Als Forschungszeitraum wurde der September des Jahres 2008 ausgewählt. Die ausgewählten Medien sind die englischsprachige China Daily, die chinesischsprachige Renmin Ribao und die englische Ausgabe der Xinhua Nachrichtenagentur. Die Methode die dazu gewählt wurde, ist eine qualitative Inhaltsanalyse. Mit Hilfe von festgelegten Analyseeinheiten und Kategorien wurde ein Analyseleitfaden ausgearbeitet für eine Strukturanalyse und eine Feinanalyse. Die Strukturanalyse wurde angewendet um einen Vergleich zwischen den ausgewählten Medien durchzuführen. Im Zuge der Feinanalyse wurden noch einmal ausgewählte Artikel nach dem Analyseleitfaden inhaltlich analysiert. Am Ende der Arbeit werden alle Ergebnisse noch einmal festgehalten und diskutiert. Ziel ist es die Forschungsfragen zu beantworten und größere Handlungs- und Kommunikationsmuster der Kommunistischen Partei Chinas aufzuzeigen

La tesis Modelos experimentales de enseñanza y aprendizaje del chino como lengua extranjera a través de tareas y planteamientos competenciales se inicia con una reflexión teórica sobre las condiciones de aplicación al caso del chino como lengua extranjera de los enfoques didácticos más innovadores en enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras (enfoque por tareas, planteamiento competencial, enseñanza a través de contenidos, planteamientos post-metodológicos, enfoque socio-cultural y uso intensivo de las TIC, Tecnologías de la Información y el Conocimiento). Esta reflexión teórica se plasma en una propuesta de diseño curricular de tres unidades didácticas articuladas en forma de proyectos, que posteriormente se experimentan en el aula, y se analizan desde el punto de vista de los resultados de aprendizaje, las percepciones de los aprendices y las reflexiones de la profesora

Guanyin and Dizang: The Creation of a Chinese Buddhist Pantheon

AbstractAlthough Buddhist art and Buddhist scripture have a close relationship, the Buddhist pantheon is not always based on scriptures. The authors came to this realization through their separate researches. Both Yu and Yao were impressed by the pairing of Guanyin and Dizang among the cliff sculptures in Sichuan. The two bodhisattvas often share the same niche or their individual niches are placed side by side. Moreover, although the pair is most often presented alone, we also find interesting new triads of Amitābha, Medicine Buddha, the historical Buddha or Maitreya attended by the pair. Both the paired worship of Guanyin and Dizang and the new triads cannot be attributed to any scriptural sources. This article provides some examples of this artistic innovation and offers some hypotheses for its creation.</jats:p

Mining a Massive Reservoir Engineering Database for Determinants of Recovery Efficiency

A global and industry wide dataset was data mined for determinants of recovery efficiency. Understanding of the factors that are driving variance in reservoir performance is essential for benchmarking current performance and for the screening of new opportunities. The following insights in the origin of variance in reservoir performance could be extracted from this analysis. Global trends for recovery factor with drive mechanism, reservoir type, geological age, lithology and depositional environment were extracted through subgroup analysis. Other property trends, such as porosity with depth and geological age, were found to be basin specific. The internal structure of the database and correlations was revealed through principal component analysis. Relative importance of the predictor variables was determined using automatic multivariate linear regression. It was found that the predominant variables include: API gravity, permeability and reservoir temperature. Additional data was identified through combination of literature review, dimensional- and statistical analysis. The following variables are suggested: dip angle, flow rate, fractional water cut, and pressure drop. Furthermore continuous scales for heterogeneity and fracture intensity, especially for carbonate reservoirs are suggested. To express the confidence level for each reservoir in the database, categorical variables for maturity and data quality are proposed. This research forms the basis for future data mining of the dataset and further improvement of the TQ EUR TOOL in which the data is stored.
