Síntese e avaliação do solvatocromismo de iminas contendo um grupo fenolato elétron-doador e grupos 4-nitrofenil ou 2,4-dinitrofenil elétron-aceitadores

Dissertação (mestrado ) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências Físicas e Matemáticas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química, Florianópolis, 2016.Neste trabalho foram estudadas como sondas solvatocrômicas seis iminas contendo o grupo fenolato elétron-doador e grupos 4-nitrofenil ou 2,4-dinitrofenil elétron-aceitadores. As iminas foram sintetizadas através da reação de condensação do aldeído (4-nitrobenzaldeído ou 2,4-dinitrobenzaldeído) com a amina correspondente (2,6-dimetilanilina, 2,6-dibromoanilina ou 2,6-dicloroanilina). Foram dessa maneira obtidos os seguintes compostos: (E)-2,6-dimetil-4-((4-nitrobenzili-deno)amino)fenol (1a), (E)-2,6-dibromo-4-((4-nitrobenzilideno)amino)fenol (2a), (E)-2,6-dicloro-4-((4-nitrobenzilideno)amino)fenol (3a), (E)-2,6-dimetil-4-((2,4-dinitroben-zilideno)amino)fenol (4a), (E)-2,6-dibromo-4-((2,4-dinitrobenzilideno)amino)fenol (5a) e (E)-2,6-dicloro-4-((2,4-dinitrobenzilideno)amino)fenol (6a). Os compostos 1a, 3a e 4a são inéditos e foram completamente caracterizados. Além disso, para os compostos 1a, 2a, 3a e 4a foram obtidas as estruturas cristalinas através de cristalografia de raios X. Os compostos, na forma de fenolatos (1b-6b), são solvatocrômicos e, portanto, apresentam uma ampla variedade de cores em diferentes solventes. Os valores de ?max em 28 solventes foram transformados em energias de transição molar, ET(corante), para cada um dos corantes. Gráficos dos valores de ET(corante) em função da escala de polaridade de Reichardt ET(30) revelaram a ocorrência de solvatocromismo reverso para todos os compostos. Em solventes apolares a forma quinonoide é mais bem estabilizada, assim esta contribui mais para a estabilização do estado fundamental, enquanto que em solvente polares a forma benzenoide é mais bem estabilizada, sendo responsável assim por uma maior contribuição para a estabilização do estado fundamental. Os dados foram ajustados a equações multiparamétricas e os resultados evidenciaram que os corantes são bastante sensíveis à acidez do meio. Portanto a solvatação acontece principalmente através de interações por ligações de hidrogênio do solvente com o grupo fenolato, os grupos nitros e o nitrogênio da ponte imínica.Abstract : In this study, six imines containing a phenolate moiety as electron donating group and 4-nitrophenyl or 2,4-dinitrophenyl electron accepting groups, were studied as solvatochromic probes. The imines were synthesized through the condensation of the aldehyde (4-nitrobenzaldehyde or 2,4-dinitrobenzaldeído) with the corresponding amine (2,6-dimethylaniline, 2,6-dibromoaniline, or 2,6-dichloroaniline). The following compounds were obtained: (E)-2,6-dimethyl-4-((4-nitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol (1a), (E)-2,6-dibromo-4-((4-nitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol (2a), (E)-2,6-dichloro-4-((4-nitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol (3a), (E)-2,6-dimethyl-4-((2,4-dinitrobenzylidene) amino)phenol (4a), (E)-2,6-dibromo-4-((2,4-dinitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol (5a) and (E)-2,6-dichloro-4- ((2,4-dinitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol (6a). Compounds 1a, 3a, and 4a are nouvel and were fully characterized. Furthermore, crystal structures were solved through X-ray crystallography for compounds 1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a. The compounds, in the form of phenolates (1b-6b), are solvatochromic and have a wide variety of colors in different solvents. The ?max values in 28 solvents were transformed in molar transition energies, ET(dye), for each dye. Plots of the ET(dye) values as a function of the polarity Reichardt scale ET(30) revealed the occurrence of reverse solvatochromism for all compounds studied. The quinonoid form is more stabilized in nonpolar solvents, being the most importante resonance form which contributes for the stabilization of the ground state, On the other hand, the benzenoid form is better stabilized in the polar solvents, being responsible for a greater contribution for the stabilization of the ground state. All experimental data were fitted to multiparametric equations and the results showed that the dyes are very sensitive to the acidity of the medium. Therefore, the solvation of the probes occurs mainly through hydrogen bonding interactions of the solvent with the phenolate moiety, nitro groups, and the nitrogen from the imine bridge

Electrochemical Characterization of Spiropyran Structures

AbstractSpiropyran (SP) is a type of photochromic molecules widely studied because of their interesting physical and chemical properties. Irradiation of spiropyrans with near UV-light induces heterolytic cleavage of the spiro bond, resulting in the possibility of their application in electro-optical molecular devices and electronic data storage. Although some reports conclude that the opening process also occurs upon electrochemical oxidation of the indolic nitrogen, a complete description of both oxidation and reduction processes, is yet unavailable. In this work, cyclic voltammetry was employed for characterizing nitrospiropyran structures. After oxidation of SP, a reduction signal at a potential value less negative than the original closed compound appeared when successive voltammetric cycles were performed. Based on the results obtained, possible mechanistic pathways are discussed

O impacto da automação da fenotipagem eritrocitária estendida na rotina de um serviço de hemoterapia

Objetivos. Avaliar o impacto da automação na fenotipagem eritrocitária expandida e o nível de concordância dessa com a metodologia manual em amostras de doadores de sangue atendidos no hemocentro coordenador da Fundação Hemopa no período de janeiro a dezembro de 2019. Material e Métodos. Foram analisadas 2.700 fenotipagens eritrocitárias realizadas por metodologia manual e automatizada através do equipamento IH500 da BioRad®. Os resultados foram testados quanto ao nível de concordância através do teste de Coeficiente Kappa. Resultados. Das amostras fenotipadas 98,6% (2.662/2.700) foram concordantes em ambas as metodologias e apenas 1,4% (38/2700) foram discordantes. Das 38 amostras discordantes 31,6% referiram-se ao fenótipo Lu(b); 15,8% ao fenótipo Lu(a); 13,1% ao fenótipo Fy(b); 7,9% aos fenótipos Le(b), E, c; 5,3% aos fenótipos N, S, s, Kp(a), P1; e 2,6% aos fenótipos M, Jk(a), Jk(b), Fy(a). Conclusões. O nível de concordância entre os dados obtidos através das técnicas de fenotipagem eritrocitária manual e automatizada foi de 98,6%. Já a implantação dessa metodologia teve um impacto positivo com o aumento em 1.649 amostras processadas a mais em relação ao mesmo período do ano anterior.Objective. Evaluate the impact of automation on expanded erythrocyte phenotyping and the level of agreement between it and the manual methodology in samples from blood donors treated at the blood center coordinating the Fundação HEMOPA from january to december 2019. Material and Methods. 2,700 erythrocyte phenotyping performed by manual and automated methodology using BioRad® IH500 equipment was analyzed. The results were tested for the level of agreement using the Kappa Coefficient test. Results. Of the phenotyped samples, 98,6% (2,662 / 2,700) were in agreement in both methodologies and only 1,4% (38/2700) were in disagreement. Of the 38 discordant samples, 31,6% referred to the Lu(b) phenotype; 15,8% to the Lu(a) phenotype; 13,1% to the Fy phenotype (b); 7,9% to Le(b), E, c phenotypes; 5,3% to N, S, s, Kp (a), P1 phenotypes; and 2,6% for phenotypes M, Jk(a), Jk(b), Fy(a). Conclusions. The level of agreement between data obtained through manual and automated erythrocyte phenotyping techniques was 98.6%. The implementation of this methodology had a positive impact, with an increase of 1,649 more processed samples compared to the same period of the previous year

Percepciones del Cliente y Estrategias para Alojamientos de Turismo Rural

Es muy importante destacar la comprensión de las consecuencias comerciales de las opiniones de los consumidores en línea, la visibilidad en línea, la experiencia de presencia de las empresas, la cantidad de alojamientos, la inteligencia de mercado y la respuesta de la gerencia. Los autores recopilaron datos sobre establecimientos de turismo rural (RTA) de un sitio web líder en infomediación para el turismo rural, relacionado con 235 RTA franceses. El desempeño de los RTA y la inteligencia de mercado fue proporcionado por una encuesta complementaria. Los resultados del estudio muestran cómo los consumidores posicionan los RTA en función de sus percepciones positivas y ayudan a los gerentes a comprender qué lleva al consumidor a posicionar el RTA y qué características son más relevantes. Las implicaciones de este estudio son tanto para los especialistas en turismo como para los gerentes de RTA que, en su búsqueda del éxito, intentan rastrear y evaluar las conexiones reales entre el posicionamiento específico del consumidor de RTA en función de sus conocimientos, proporcionados en los comentarios de revisión en línea, la estrategia comercial definida y competencias conductuales de gestión.It is very important to highlight the understanding of the business consequences of online consumer reviews, online visibility, presence expertise of businesses, number of accommodations, market intelligence, and management response. The authors gathered data on rural tourism establishments (RTA) from a website leading infomediary for rural tourism, related to 235 French RTAs. The performance of RTAs and market intelligence was provided by complementary survey. The results of the study show how consumers position RTAs based on their positive perceptions help managers to understand what leads the consumer to position the RTA and which characteristics are most relevant. The implications of this study are for both tourism specialists and RTA managers who, in their pursuit of success, attempt to track and assess the real connections between the RTA's specific consumer positioning based on their insights, provided in the online review comments, defined business strategy, and management behavioral competencies

A emigração portuguesa para Pernambuco : 1881-1913

O propósito deste trabalho é compreender o fenómeno histórico da emigração portuguesa para o Estado brasileiro de Pernambuco entre os anos de 1881 e 1913, tanto do ponto de vista macro como do ponto de vista micro. Por meio da observação dos livros de registos de pedidos de passaporte de seis distritos, três do litoral e três do interior, verificou-se que a emigração portuguesa para Pernambuco apresentou números relevantes em relação ao fenómeno maior da emigração para o restante do território brasileiro. Utilizando os dados disponibilizados pelos Arquivos Distritais, como a faixa etária, o sexo, filiação e ocupação profissional, buscou-se traçar tanto as diferenças e semelhanças na emigração a partir dos diferentes distritos quanto os perfis individuais do emigrante para Pernambuco e os padrões que podem ser encontrados. Por estes meios e com essas informações, será possível verificar as características mais recorrentes do emigrante português que escolheu Pernambuco como destino no período em estudo.The purpose of this essay is to understand the historical phenomenon of portuguese emigration to the brazilian state of Pernambuco between the years of 1881 and 1911, on a large scale as well as on the small scale. By observing the passport requests books in six different portuguese districts, three on the coastline and three in the countryside, it became clear that the portuguese emigration to Pernambuco presented relevant numbers in relation to the larger phenomenon of portuguese emigration to Brazil. Whilst researching the data made available by each of the District Archives, such as age, gender, affiliation and professional background, the goal was to trace the similarities and differences in the emigration phenomenon observed in these districts as much as the individual profiles of the emigrant to Pernambuco, and the patterns that can be found. With these means and information, it will be possible to see the most recurring characteristics shown by the portuguese emigrant who chose Pernambuco as his destination in this period
