Segundo registro de holbrookia approximans (squamata: phrynosomatidae) para el estado de Aguascalientes, MĂ©xico y record de mayor altitud.
Herein we document the occurrence of Holbrookia approximans in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico, after a hiatus of 43 years since the last record, at Las Negritas, in the Municipality of El Llano, representing a new municipality record. Additionally a new locality for Zacatecas at Mesa los Encinitos, Municipality of Pinos, represents the highest altitude record for the species.En el presente trabajo se documenta la presencia de Holbrookia approximans en el estado de Aguascalientes, México, después de 43 años de su último registro, en Las Negritas, municipio de El Llano, lo que representa un nuevo registro municipal. Adicionalmente una nueva localidad para Zacatecas, en la mesa Los Encinitos, municipio de Pinos, que representa el registro de mayor altitud para la especie.

Heterospecific amplexus between Triprion petasatus (Anura: Hylidae) and Incilius valliceps (Anura: Bufonidae) from Yucatán, Mexico
The heterospecific amplex between Triprion petasatus and Incilius valliceps is documented for the first time in the locality of Piste, Yucatan Mexico. This behavior has been documented previously in other amphibians, many of them also explosive reproducers that take advantage of temporary bodies of water, in places with a marked dry season. Se documenta por primera vez el amplexo heteroespecĂfico entre Triprion petasatus e Incilius valliceps en la localidad de PistĂ©, Yucatán MĂ©xico. New dietary records for three species in the Crotalus molossus species complex (Serpentes: Viperidae)
The Great Plains Ratsnake, Pantherophis emoryi Baird & Girard, 1853, (Squamata: Colubridae), a new state record from Aguascalientes, MĂ©xico
We report an adult male specimen of the snake Pantherophis emoryi from xerophytic scrub habitat in the Municipality of Real de Asientos, Aguascalientes, MĂ©xico. This specimen represents the first state record of P. emoryi from Aguascalientes and extends the known distribution of the species 107 km in a straight line west-northwest from the nearest previous record. Our specimen was found in habitat that is under heavy agricultural pressure, and recently, threatened by mining. This may indicate that other Chihuahuan Desert taxa may be found in this area

We report an adult female and subadult specimen of the frog Lithobates magnaocularis Frost & Bagnara, 1974 from tropical deciduous forest habitat in the Municipality of Calvillo, Aguascalientes and Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico. These vouchers represent the first state records of L. magnaocularis for Aguascalientes and Zacatecas, and extend the known distribution of the species through the northeastern portion of the tributaries of the RĂo Grande de Santiago basin

We report an adult male specimen of the salamander Ambystoma rosaceum from the oak forest and grassland habitats in the Sierra FrĂa located in the Municipality of San JosĂ© de Gracia, Aguascalientes, MĂ©xico. This specimen represents the first state record of A. rosaceum for Aguascalientes and extends the known distribution of the species through the southern portion of the Sierra Madre Occidental
