Cuantificación del impacto del turismo sobre el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo de Lambayeque en el periodo 1990-2013. Evidencia empírica y planteamiento de estrategias al 2020

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo cuantificar del impacto del turismo sobre el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo de Lambayeque en el periodo 1990-2013, evidencia empírica y planteamiento de estrategias al 2020. En esta investigación se pretende relacionar las variables de gasto en turismo, tipo de cambio real multilateral y el PBI de Lambayeque. La hipótesis que se planteó es si existe una relación directa entre el gasto en turismo, el tipo de cambio real multilateral y el producto bruto interno de Lambayeque durante el período 1970-2013. El marco metodológico responde a una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptiva y correlacional. Lo descriptivo permitirá abordar los aspectos característicos, distintivos y particulares del objeto de estudio que para nuestro análisis corresponde al sector turístico de Lambayeque y el correlacional, su principal objetivo es mostrar la relación entre las variables o resultados de las variables, debido al estudio de las variables a lo largo del tiempo pudiendo ser periódicos o continuos, para el análisis de las series de tiempo, cuya muestra comprende las series agregadas o macroeconómicas de Lambayeque. Como conclusión, con el modelo econométrico ha obtenido una relación positiva de las variables explicativas del valor agregado y del tipo de cambio real con el PBI, lo que significa que un impulso en el VAB tendrá como efecto que el PBI tiende a crecer.The objective of this research is to quantify the impact of tourism on the economic growth and development of Lambayeque in the period 1990-2013, empirical evidence and strategy approach to 2020. This research intends to relate the variables of spending on tourism, the multilateral real exchange rate and the Lambayeque GDP. The methodological framework responds to a research with a quantitative, descriptive and correlational approach. The descriptive will allow to address the characteristic, distinctive and particular aspects of the object of study that for our analysis corresponds to the Lambayeque tourism sector and the correlational, its main objective is to show the relationship between the variables or results of the variables, due to the study of the variables over time, which may be periodic or continuous, for the analysis of the time series, whose sample includes the aggregate or macroeconomic series of Lambayeque. In conclusion, with the econometric model it has obtained a positive relation of the explanatory variables of the added value and the real exchange rate with the GDP, which means that an impulse in the GVA will have as an effect that the GDP tends to grow.Instituto de Investigación Economía y Sociedad (IIES).
