Una reflexión sobre la universidad. A propósito de ortega y Sacristán

[RESUMEN] En este trabajo se parte del análisis de las tres funciones de la universidad realizado por dos grandes filósofos españoles del siglo XX: José Ortega y Gasset (1883-1955) y Manuel Sacristán Luzón (1925-1985). El constructo teórico del primero se sitúa en la tradición del liberalismo romántico y, el del segundo, en la tradición socialista. Se señalan las coincidencias y diferencias entre ambos y, además, se contrastan sus propuestas con los cambios introducidos en la Enseñanza Superior en España con el plan Bolonia. El balance es claramente negativo en la medida que las innovaciones realizadas no sólo no han mejorado la universidad, sino que han aumentado sus defectos tradicionales, como la estamentalización, el corporativismo y la endogamia[ABSTRACT]This work begins with the analysis of the three functions of the university as done by two great Spanish philosophers from the XXth century: José Ortega y Gasset (1930) and Manuel Sacristán Luzón (1970). The theoretical construct of the first is located in the romantic liberalism tradition and, the one of the second in the socialist tradition. Coincidences and differences between both are pointed out, as well as the contrast between their proposals and the changes introduced in Spain’s Higher Education with the Bologna plan. Comentarios a la ley d einvestigación biomédica y al comité de bioética de España

[Resumen] En este trabajo se describen los contenidos de la Ley de Investigación Biomédica y se analizan críticamente los órganos encargados de autorizar y hacer el seguimiento ético de las investigaciones, como son los Comités de Investigaciones, la Comisión de Garantías para la Donación y Utilización de Células y Tejidos Humanos y el Comité de Bioética de España. Respecto a este último se explicitan los criterios doctrinales que son exigidos a este tipo de institución en nuestro ámbito cultural; rasgos que si faltan nos auto- rizan a calificarlo como un comité de expertos, antes que un comité nacional de bioética.[Abstract] This paper contains a description of the Spanish Biomedical Research Law as well as a critical analysis of the responsible agencies that consent and follow the ethi- cal procedures of researching. These agencies are the following: the Comittee of Researches (Comités de Investigaciones), the Comission of Guarantee for the Donation an Usage of Human Cells and Tissue (Comisión de Garantías para la Donación y Utilización de Células y Tejidos Humanos) and the Bioethics Comittee of Spain (Comité de Bioética de España). In respect to this, doctrinal criterion demanded to this kind of institution in our cultural context are specified. The nature of these criterion allow us to describe this Comitte as a group of experts more than as a bioethics natio- nal comittee
