VALORIZAÇÃO DO CENTRO HISTÓRICO DE SÃO LUÍS – MA E NOVAS MANEIRAS DE CONSUMO DA MÚSICA: um olhar sobre o festival BR 135

Visando obter maior entendimento sobre as novas formas de consumo da música, alicerçadas nas tecnologias e no ciberespaço, bem como na Indústria Cultural, analisaremos de modo interdisciplinar neste artigo, as “novas” cenas musicais que despontaram a partir das transformações que estão acontecendo na Indústria Fonográfica: os festivais de música independente, que valorizam a música ao vivo e a ocupação, com arte, de espaços históricos das cidades. O trabalho, que é fruto de pesquisa bibliográfica e netnográfica, tem como objeto de estudos o Festival BR 135, ocorrido em São Luís – MA no ano de 2014.Palavras-chave: Indústria Cultural. Música. Experience Tourism and Cultural Equipment: The artisanal production of CEPRAMA in São Luís-MA

This article\u27s main objective is studying the conceptual relationships that intertwine between the tourist phenomenon and the appreciation of local culture in the city of São Luís/MA. Having as object of study the development process of the production, exhibition and sale of handicrafts in the Center for Craft Production of Maranhão (CEPRAMA). Focusing on broader concepts such as: culture, experience tourism and cultural tourism, unfolding into more specific concepts such as: heritage, cultural facilities, crafts and identity. The research is relevant for studying an activity of great importance to the city\u27s economy, cultural tourism, which seeks to value local culture through the acquisition of knowledge from the tourist and the community. For the discussion to develop, authors such as: Eagleton (2011), Barreto (2003), Fernandes (2015), Hall (2006), Panosso Netto (2010), Tuan (1983), among others were used. This is a bibliographical and documentary research (since it is characterized as one of the chapters of the Master\u27s Thesis, it will analyze instrumental aspects of the research in loco), where the discussion seeks to maintain an interdisciplinary and transversal dialogue between the concepts, focusing on the importance the cultural appreciation and the gains that the tourist phenomenon can provide to the city of São Luís/MA

Políticas públicas e o turismo cultural: o potencial turístico cultural da Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite no Complexo Deodoro em São Luís, Maranhão (Edição 510)

Investigação que objetiva refletir como o turismo se inseriu nas políticas públicas culturais e como tais contribuíram para a requalificação do Complexo Deodoro e reaproximação dos cidadãos ao Centro, e, por conseguinte a Benedito Leite. Trata-se de em um estudo de natureza exploratória, com fins descritivos e de abordagem qualitativa, tendo como ponto de partida a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, que resultou em um levantamento de produções sobre turismo, patrimônio e turismo cultural, políticas públicas culturais e bibliotecas públicas enquanto centros culturais, por sua vez ancorados na análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2016). Adotou-se, também, a técnica de observação sistemática, mediante a construção de um formulário (composto por ano de construção, características arquitetônicas e espaciais, serviços oferecidos, vinculação institucional, elementos de roteirização, dentre outros aspectos) que permitiu o mapeamento de espaços localizados no Complexo Deodoro. Pontua que o PAC Cidades Históricas e o Programa Nosso Centro são políticas que ajudam São Luís e a revitalizar espaços importantes, cujos bens devem ter seu acesso e apropriação facilitado, e, por sua vez deve ser valorizado no contexto do desenvolvimento do turismo cultural, cuja BPBL atua facilitando a compreensão da cidade, da memória e dos simbolismos implicados no Complexo Deodoro.Palavras-chave: Turismo cultural. Centro histórico, turismo e mobilidade urbana: análise conceitual

Este artículo parte de preguntas que buscan comprender la relación entre movilidad urbana, turismo y centros históricos desde los aspectos teóricos. La movilidad urbana y los centros históricos se han convertido en un desafío para los administradores públicos, ya que es un tema en boga en los países más diversos del mundo. Por lo tanto, el objetivo es comprender la relación entre el patrimonio histórico, el turismo y la movilidad urbana en los centros históricos, bajo un sesgo teórico contemporáneo. El aspecto metodológico se caracteriza por ser descriptivo, exploratorio y también bibliográfico con análisis cualitativo. Los resultados muestran que la relación entre el turismo, la movilidad urbana y los centros históricos es un desafío para los administradores, por lo tanto, adaptar el patrimonio a las nuevas demandas de la sociedad y la tecnología contemporánea en un esfuerzo colectivo para transformar el territorio histórico en accesible.This article seeks to understand the relationship between urban mobility, tourism and historic centres from a theoretical standpoint. TURISMO PEDAGÓGICO E APROPRIAÇÃO DOS LUGARES DE MEMÓRIA EM SÃO LUÍS (MA)

Discute as ações do projeto de extensão desenvolvido por alunos e professores dos cursos de Turismo e Hotelaria da Universidade Federal do Maranhão, intitulado Tour pedagógico nos lugares de memória. Parte do conceito de patrimônio para entender as suas relações com a memória (BOSI, 1999; LE GOFF, 1996; HALBWACHS, 2006), apresentando o conceito de lugares de memória (BERDOLAY, 1997; NORA, 1993). Aborda a relação entre educação patrimonial (HORTA et al, 1999) e o turismo pedagógico (ANSARAH, 2001). Com base em pesquisa documental apresenta e discute os principais resultados do projeto nos anos de 2014 e 2015, nas escolas abrangidas, as oficinas e roteiros realizados. A pesquisa aponta para a necessidade de se ampliar as iniciativas de valorização do patrimônio cultural local no sentido de problematizar as narrativas orais como instrumentos de educação e elementos de atratividade turística

The Concept of Experience Applied to Tourist Products Commercialized in São Luis (Maranhão, Brazil)

Analysis of the importance of applying the concept of experience in tourism products and services as a way to add value to tourism. Its objective is to verify if the dimensions of the tourist experience are applied to tourism products and services marketed, in the city of São Luís, Maranhão, with the object of analysis being the Historical Soiree Project of the Municipal Tourism Secretariat of São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil. Strategy of promotion of tourism in the region based on playful work and interaction with the viewer. The research was characterized as exploratory-descriptive, carried out by means of bibliographic and documentary research and field research, having as a data collection instrument interviews with tourists and visitors from January to February 2019. It discusses the concept of experience in its multiple meanings and how tourist experiences can provide memorable moments for tourists. It highlights the concept of experience tourism or experiential tourism when listed in tourism products and services. It characterizes the Historical Soiree, showing how this action is performed to provide interaction with visitors, aligning the discussions of the dimensions of the experience with the reports of the participants

Bibliotecas Públicas e Turismo Literário: o Potencial Turístico-Literário da Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite no Complexo Deodoro em São Luís, Maranhão

  Reflexão acerca do potencial turístico da Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite (BPBL) no recém-inaugurado Complexo Deodoro, no centro de São Luís, Maranhão. Segunda biblioteca pública mais antiga do Brasil, está instalada na Praça Deodoro desde 1898 e tem desenvolvido, ao longo de seus 193 anos de existência, produtos, serviços, ações culturais, acesso e mediação da leitura, apropriação dos patrimônios e da cultura maranhense. Considera a importância histórica e cultural da BPBL, potencializado pela reforma e modernização do centro de São Luís, notadamente o Complexo Deodoro, explicita seu potencial turístico-cultural, a partir das visitas guiadas onde são ressaltados tantos aspectos materiais, relacionados ao prédio histórico como aspectos imateriais relacionados à cultura literária maranhense, resultando em um local que possibilita múltiplas interações e intersubjetividades. Parte da seguinte problemática: de que forma os fluxos turísticos, após a modernização do Complexo Deodoro, podem favorecer o turismo cultural na Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite? Para tanto, tem como objetivo geral: relacionar turismo cultural e biblioteca pública a partir dos fatores e fluxos turísticos no Complexo Deodoro que contribuem para que os cidadãos ludovicenses se reaproximem da Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite. Consiste em um estudo de natureza exploratória, com fins descritivos, de abordagem qualitativa, e se vale da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental para discutir o potencial turístico-cultural da BPBL a partir de autores como IFLA (1994), Almeida Júnior (2013; 2015), Gomes (2014), Milanesi (2013), Pereira, Castro e Ramos (2016), Almeida Garret, Simões (2004), Rebouças (2010), Salvador e Baptista (2011), dentre outros. Reforça os ganhos de público da BPBL após a inauguração do Complexo Deodoro, visto o aumento significativo de usuários nos últimos meses. Destaca que as ações culturais da Benedito Leite, tais como mediação da leitura, visita guiada, contação de histórias, projetos como Cinema na Biblioteca, exposições têm ratificado o potencial da instituição em difundir a leitura e a literatura, favorecido pelo público frequentador da área após a reforma, o que acaba por se tornar um atrativo cultural à parte. Pontua que a modernização do Centro de São Luís representa um ganho para o aumento do fluxo de visitantes na Praça e acaba por reaproximar os cidadãos da BPBL, além de favorecer a difusão da leitura e da literatura através de seus serviços e produtos. Ressalta que o Complexo Deodoro se mostra como local atrativo para visitantes, sobretudo após a reforma, o que por sua vez direciona os usuários para a BPBL, que se apresenta como um dos “cartões postais” da capital ludovicense.Palavras-chave: Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite. Turismo Cultural Literário.Public Libraries and Literary Tourism: the Tourist-Literary Potential of the Benedito Leite Public Library at the Deodoro Complex in São Luís, Maranhão ABSTRACTReflection about the touristic potential of the Benedito Leite Public Library (BLPL) at the recently inaugurated Deodoro Complex, downtown São Luís, Maranhão. Second oldest public library in Brazil, it is installed at the Deodoro Square since 1898, developing products, services, cultural activities, reading access and mediation, patrimonial and cultural appropriation from Maranhão along its 193 years of existence. We consider the historical and cultural importance of BLPL, which is enhanced by the reform and modernization of São Luís’ historic center, notably the Deodoro Complex, highlights its touristic-cultural potential through guided visits in which both material and immaterial aspects about the building and the state’s literary culture are highlighted. Therefore, the area becomes a place that enables multiple interactions and subjectivities. We start from the following problem: in which way do the touristic flows after the modernization of the Deodoro Complex may favor the cultural tourism at the Benedito Leite Public Library? For such, our general objective is to relate cultural tourism and the public library from touristic factors and flows on the Deodoro Complex that contribute to the reconnection between the city’s citizens and the BLPL. This is an exploratory and descriptive study using a qualitative approach using bibliographic and documental research to discuss the cultural-touristic potential of the BLPL from authors such as IFLA (1994), Almeida Júnior (2013; 2015), Gomes (2014), Milanesi (2013), Pereira, Castro e Ramos (2016), Almeida Garret, Simões (2004), Rebouças (2010), Salvador e Baptista (2011), among others. It reinforces the increases in public at the BLPL after the Deodoro Complex was inaugurated due to the significant increase in users during the last months. It is also highlighted the cultural activities of the library, such as reading mediations, guided visits, storytelling, projects such as the Library Cinema, and exhibits that have ratified the institution’s potential to spread reading and literature, thus favoring the attending public after the renovations, which is a cultural attraction by itself. It is also pointed that the modernization of São Luís historic center represents an increase in the amount of visitors in the Square, thus reconnecting the citizens with the BLPL. We also reinforce that the Deodoro Complex is now an attractive place for visitors, especially after the renovations, which directs users for the BLPL, which now presents itself as one of the city’s postcards. Keywords: Benedito Leite Public Library. Collective Experiences with Heritage: tourist events and socializations in the Historic Center of São Luís

Discussion about tourist events and other forms of socialization that take place in the Historic Center of São Luís – located in the State of Maranhão, in Brazil –  which, in turn, give rise to collective tourist experiences linked to Historical Heritage. The aim of our work is to highlight the role of these events in the composition of collective heritage interactions, enhancing the general notion about the importance of preserving historic spaces and monuments. It addresses concepts of themes such as experience, heritage, and tourism, with an emphasis on the narrative of collective experiences. With a descriptive and analytical focus, it uses bibliographic material from authors who address the issues pertinent to the study and also analyzes the data collected through field research made with residents who participated in tourist events and socializations in the Historic Center of São Luís. These gregarious interactions are believed to promote the materialization of a collective feeling of belonging with the heritage
