    THE ROLE OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF DEFORMING ARTHROSIS OF PROFESSIONAL ETIOLOGY IN MINERS

    The paper analyzes the effectiveness of magnetic resonance imaging with cartilage diagram in diagnosing signs of professional deforming arthrosis of knee joints in miners working in conditions of significant physical loading. Aim of the research – to determine of diagnostic efficiency of indicators of magnetic resonance imaging of the knee joint and cartilage diagram in miners of the main occupations suffering from deforming arthrosis. Methods. The research is conducted in 30 miners of basic occupations: 20 mining workers of breakage face (MWBF) and 10 machinists of shearer mining machines (МSMM) have been treated in the inpatient department of occupational pathology of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital in 2015-2017 due to deforming arthrosis. Damages of the main anatomical elements of the knee joint with arthrosis were analyzed, visualized initially with the help of MRI, and then - cartilage diagram. Results. According to the MRI data, in miners of the main occupations with arthrosis of the knee joint the posterior cross-shaped ligament are most commonly affected (in 75.0±9.7 % MWBF and 70.0±14.5 % МSMM), damage to the medial collateral ligament are diagnosed less frequently (in 5.0±4.9 % in the MWBF and in 10.0±9.5 % in the МSMM). On average 3.8±0.4 modified elements of the knee joint are visualized in patients, whereas 4.8±0.1 affected areas are visualized on the cartilage diagram (р<0.05). In 86.7±6.2 % patients, in the analysis of cartilage diagram, changes in all five analyzed areas are diagnosed, indicating a higher efficiency of the diagnosis of changes in the structures of the joint with DA of the professional etiology of the method of cartilage diagram compared with MRI. According to the cartilage diagram the most significant changes are noted in the hypertrophy of the femur: among all miners 62.5±0.3 ms (medial) and 62.6±0.4 ms (lateral), in the MWBF group the average time of Т2-delay is the largest in the area of the medial hypertrophy of the femur is 60.9±2.3 ms, in the МSMM group – in the area of the lateral hypertrophy of the femur: 66.7±3.3 ms, which can be linked to the peculiarities of the forced working position of miners of these professions and the kinetics of joint structures. These results can be used to diagnose the initial lesions of joint structures with DA of professional genesis, as well as the creation of prognostic models for determining the the degree of risk of development of knee joint damage, which will allow to improve the system of personified approach to diagnostic and preventive measures in working persons in conditions of considerable physical activity and forced working position

    Labor conditions and peculiarities of the clinical course of deforming arthrosis in workers of mining industry

    Pathology of the musculoskeletal system occupies one of the leading places in the structure of occupational morbidity inUkraine. A total of 40 miners were surveyed, 29 of them are mining workers of breakage face (MWBF) and 11 machinists of shearer mining machines (МSMM), suffering from deforming arthrosis (DA) at the age of 44.45 ± 0.95 years. Working conditions of the miners of these specialties were beyond the normative ones, approved inUkrainein terms of severity and tension. The most common symptoms of DA in the miners of both groups are: constant pain; pain aggravating at exertion; crunch; limitation of movement and changed contours of the knee joints. While comparing the clinical symptoms of DA between the professional groups, there were no significant difference in their frequency, except for the change in the contours of the knee symptoms, which is 2.40 times more frequent in the MWBF than in the MSMM. The majority of biochemical indexes do not exceed the physiological norm in the subjects. Significant differences are observed in the values of C-reactive protein, ASLO, glucose and calcium between patients of both occupational groups (p<0.05)

    Thin film of composites based on N-epoxypropylcarbazole and n-butylglycidyl ether co-oligomer (GCBE) sensitized by various concentrations of cationic polymethine dyes with different polymethine chain length have been prepared. Their photophysical, electrical, and spectral properties have been investigated. All studied composite films have been shown to exhibited photoconductivity effect. In film composites with high concentration of the dye photovoltaic effect have been detected. The diffusion nature of this effect and its features correlation with electronic properties of PCFs components has been established

    Моделирование микрополосковой антенны радиовысотомера для летательного аппарата

    The purpose of the article is to carry out mathematical modeling of the main characteristics and parameters of a microstrip antenna, the dielectric substrate of which is created from a domestic ceramic sample and to substantiate the use of a microstrip antenna as a transmitting and receiving antenna in a radio altimeter. It is shown that a microstrip antenna on a ceramic material substrate with a relative permittivity ε = 9.6 and a thickness of 0.2 mm has good electrical parameters in the frequency range of 31.5–33.5 GHz. Including the width of the antenna radiation pattern at the level of –3 dB is 12.5 degrees in the horizontal plane and 26.7 degrees in the vertical plane. In this case, the antenna gain is 17 dB and the level of the first side lobe is –20 dB relative to the main antenna lobe. Also the practical application of microstrip array antennas inphase as a transmitting and receiving antenna for a radio altimeter installed on aircraft is described in the article. The range of the altimeter reaches 300 m.Целью статьи является проведение математического моделирования основных характеристик и параметров микрополосковой антенны, диэлектрическая подложка которой создана из отечественного образца керамики, и обоснование применения микрополосковой антенны в качестве приемо-передающей антенны в радиовысотомере. Показано, что микрополосковая антенна имеет хорошие электрические параметры в частотном диапазоне 31,5–33,5 ГГц в случае размещения ее на подложке из керамического материала с относительной диэлектрической проницаемостью ε = 9,6 и толщиной 0,2 мм. В том числе ширина диаграммы направленности антенны по уровню –3 дБ составляет 12,5 град в горизонтальной плоскости и 26,7 град в вертикальной плоскости. При этом коэффициент усиления антенны равен 17 дБ, а уровень первого бокового лепестка составляет –20 дБ относительно главного лепестка антенны. Также в статье предложено практическое применение антенной решетки синфазных микрополосковых антенн в качестве приемо-передающей антенны радиовысотомера, устанавливаемого на летательные аппараты. Дальность действия высотомера достигает 300 м

    The purpose of the article is to substantiate the method and circuit design option for constructing an ultra-wideband radio receiver of the measuring system, mathematical modeling of the main parameters of the receiving path. It is shown the block diagram and general characteristics of the receiver. Including the dynamic range of received signals 111 dB, operating frequency range from 1 to 18 GHz. The article discusses the components of the receiver, such as: an automatic power control unit with a dynamic range of 50 dB and a tuning step of 1 dB, a preselector with six bandwidths 1–2,5; 2,5–4; 4–6; 6–11; 11–15; 15–18 GHz and a frequency conversion unit with three conversion steps. The structure is substantiated and the parameters of each of the blocks are given. A frequency conversion scheme with a final intermediate frequency of 0.75 GHz and a bandwidth of 500 MHz is considered in detail. Modeling of the noise figure, the distribution of the signal level along the receiver path from the input signal level and the results of modeling the output signal of the IF receiver.Целью статьи является обоснование способа и схемотехнического варианта построения сверхширокополосного радиоприемника измерительной системы, проведение математического моделирования основных параметров приемного тракта. Показаны структурная схема и общие характеристики приемника, в том числе динамический диапазон принимаемых сигналов, составляющий 111 дБ, рабочий диапазон частот от 1 до 18 ГГц. В статье рассмотрены составные блоки приемника, такие как блок автоматического регулирования мощности с динамическим диапазоном 50 дБ и шагом перестройки 1 дБ, преселектор с шестью полосами пропускания 1–2,5; 2,5–4; 4–6; 6–11; 11–15; 15–18 ГГц и блок преобразования частот с тремя ступенями преобразования. Обоснована структура и приведены параметры каждого из блоков. Подробно рассмотрена схема преобразования частот с конечной промежуточной частотой 0,75 ГГц и полосой пропускания 500 МГц. Представлены результаты моделирования коэффициента шума, распределения уровня сигнала по тракту приемника в зависимости от уровня входного сигнала и выходного сигнала ПЧ-приемника

    Элемент согласования волноводной линии передачи с диодом

    The article deals with the issues of matching a waveguide transmission line with millimeter wave diodes. The implementation of the transition of a rectangular waveguide to a microstrip switching line in the form of a line of the fin-line type is described. The computer simulation results of the transmission coefficient module of the developed element and the standing wave coefficient by voltage separately for the transition from a rectangular waveguide to a microstrip transmission line and as part of an amplitude detector are shown. A joint application of the developed element with a microstrip detector based on a Schottky diode in the frequency range from 118.1 to 178.4 GHz is proposed. The results of measuring its parameters and the results of determining the sensitivity are given, as well as the evaluation of the results obtained is performed. The obtained results proved the possibility of using the matching element of a waveguide transmission line with a diode in the millimeter wavelength range. Рассмотрены вопросы согласования волноводной линии передачи с диодами миллиметрового диапазона длин волн. Описана реализация перехода с прямоугольного волновода на микрополосковую линию передачи в виде линии типа фин-лайн. Показаны результаты компьютерного моделирования модуля коэффициента передачи разработанного элемента и коэффициента стоячей волны по напряжению отдельно перехода с прямоугольного волновода на микрополосковую линию передачи и в составе амплитудного детектора. Представлена реализация совместного применения разработанного элемента с микрополосковым детектором на базе диода Шоттки в диапазоне частот от 118,1 до 178,4 ГГц. Приведены результаты измерения его параметров и определения чувствительности. При оценке полученных данных подтверждена возможность применения разработанного элемента согласования волноводной линии передачи с диодом в миллиметровом диапазоне длин волн
