This creative project is a novel that is telling the story of a young man named, Rei, in his journey to find the truth about his late parents to help him find who he is, and a young princess called Aria in her quest, accompanied by Rei and their friends, in order to regain her right as the one and only successor to the throne of a Kingdom named Earendel. In this story, I decided to use quest and social criticism as the two main themes, while the sub-themes are quest for identity, quest for power, and for social criticism, it is change versus tradition. This to assist me in realizing my aim for writing this work which is to help raising more awareness towards our surroundings by promoting discovery process in the young adult world and social change. During their journey, the two major characters will see how some people is still having difficulty in accepting a change in their tradition from having men as the heads of the family to having a woman as one. The family here represents the patriarchal tradition or custom that most of families hold. As for the genre, I chose fantasy with the sub-genre epic fantasy and using the common epic fantasy properties, such as magic, supernatural creatures, the quest conducted by the two major characters, and also the existence of the good and the evil one

Mud crabs (Scylla serrata) is one of the most economic crabs in Central Java. However, mortality was reached 80% during fattening due to bacterial infection. Meantime, mangrove leaf contain bacteriostatic and bactericidal such as saponin, flavonoid, tanin, alkaloid, steroid, terpenoid and phenol that might effective to control bacterial infection. This study was carried out to observe the performance of mangrove leaf extract to treat vibriosis in mud crabs at various concentration in vitro and in vivo. In vitro study demonstrated that mangrove leaf extract at concentration of 300 mg/l to 900 mg/l were able to prevent Vibrio harveyi growth and formed clear ring between 11.37–13.67 mm. Forty eight mud crabs at body weight of 4011±253 g were injected with a bacterial V. harveyi at density of 106 CFU/ml in between the leg join. Then immersed into mangrove leaf extract at concentration of 0 mg/l, 300 mg/l, 600 mg/l, 900 mg/l for 30 minutes. Post injection of bacterial Vibrio crabs showed clinical signs such as wide apart of swimming and walking legs, blackened carapace, white spots, and red spots. Immersion of mangrove leaf extract post injection could improved survival rate, healing and histopathological features of experimental crabs. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of mangrove leaf extract at 900 mg/l demonstrated best survival rate, histopathological feature and recovery after 14 days post infection

Mangrove ecosystem is an important part of the coastal environment. One of the problems in almost all coastal areas in Indonesia is the degradation of mangrove area. . Winarto, B., N.A. Mattjik, A. Purwito, and B. Marwoto. 2010. Application of 2.4-D and TDZ on Callus Formation and Its Regeneration of Anthurium Anther Culture. Study of 2.4-D and TDZ concentration combination in callus formation and its regeneration on anther culture of Anthurium was conducted at Tissue Culture Laboratory of Indonesian Ornamental Crops Research Institute from November 2007 to August 2008. This study was aimed to determine the effect of concentration combination of 2.4-D and TDZ on callus formation, growth, and its regeneration. Spadix of Anthurium andraeanum cv. Tropical which 50% of its stigma was in optimum receptive, MWR-3 medium containing BAP 0.75 mg/l, NAA 0.02 mg/l, sucrose 30 g/l, and gelrite 2.0 g/l and callus derived from the anthers were used in the experiments. Concentrations of 2.4-D and TDZ tested in the experiment for callus formation and its regeneration were 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 mg/l. Factorial experiment with four replications was arranged in a completely randomized design. The results of the study indicated that combination of 2.4-D and TDZ gave significant effect on callus induction and its regeneration. In callus formation, 2.4-D 0.5 mg/l combined with TDZ 2.0 mg/l was the most suitable treatment with potential anther growth up to 58%; and 38% of anther regenerated with average 2.3 of anthers produced callus per treatment. 2.4-D 1.0 mg/l combined with TDZ 0.5 mg/l was the most appropriate treatment for callus regeneration into shoots with 5.3 shoots/explant
