L'évolution récente et favorable de la législation en matière de santé pour encourager la mise en réseau de professionnels des champs médicaux et sociaux pose de nombreuses questions concernant la réalité de la coordination des acteurs. L'étude d'un Réseau Médico-Social (RMS) situé sur le forez-montbrisonnais en atteste. L'analyse de ce réseau sans frontière fixe à la croisée d'une multitude d'acteurs d'horizons différents a révélé toutes les difficultés vécues par les acteurs de terrain dans sa mise en œuvre. Le fonctionnement d'un réseau médico-social doit être pensé comme quelque chose de nouveau. Il ne peut pas reproduire les clivages et le cloisonnement du système de santé existant. Comment alors soutenir la coordination des connaissances entre professionnels ? Quels peuvent être les leviers favorisant la mise en réseau d'acteurs ? C'est dans ce contexte que nous nous proposons d'envisager l'Objet Intermédiaire (OI) et plus précisément le dispositif juridique comme un levier potentiel de la mise en œuvre des RMS. Notre recherche s'inscrit dans une volonté de mieux comprendre le rôle des dispositifs juridiques, en l'occurrence le Programme Régional d'Accès à la Prévention et aux Soins (PRAPS), dans la construction du RMS du forez-montbrisonnais

Ultimate periodicity of b-recognisable sets : a quasilinear procedure

It is decidable if a set of numbers, whose representation in a base b is a regular language, is ultimately periodic. This was established by Honkala in 1986. We give here a structural description of minimal automata that accept an ultimately periodic set of numbers. We then show that it can verified in linear time if a given minimal automaton meets this description. This thus yields a O(n log(n)) procedure for deciding whether a general deterministic automaton accepts an ultimately periodic set of numbers.Comment: presented at DLT 201

Traumatic Obturator Hip Dislocation with Marginal Femoral Head Fracture in a 15-Year-Old Adolescent: A High-Energy Trauma-A Case Report and a Review of the Literature.

We report the case of a 15-year-old boy brought to the emergency department after a bike accident, complaining of an isolated left hip pain. The X-rays showed an obturator hip dislocation treated by closed reduction under general anaesthesia, followed by 6 weeks of discharge. The follow-up MRI performed 6 weeks after the trauma showed an avascular femoral head necrosis, for which we performed multiple retrograde femoral head drilling, completed by the injection of autologue stem cells from the iliaq crest. One year later, the patient has no hip pain, no joint limitation, and can practice BMX at a high level again. The purpose of this report is to make the physicians aware of this rare problem that may be damaging for hip function, especially in young people

Trees with Given Stability Number and Minimum Number of Stable Sets

We study the structure of trees minimizing their number of stable sets for given order $n$ and stability number $\alpha$. Our main result is that the edges of a non-trivial extremal tree can be partitioned into $n-\alpha$ stars, each of size $\lceil \frac{n-1}{n-\alpha} \rceil$ or $\lfloor \frac{n-1}{n-\alpha}\rfloor$, so that every vertex is included in at most two distinct stars, and the centers of these stars form a stable set of the tree.Comment: v2: Referees' comments incorporate

Leveraging Employer Practices in Global Regulatory Frameworks to Improve Employment Outcomes for People with Disabilities

Work is an important part of life, providing both economic security and a forum to contribute one’s talents and skills to society, thereby anchoring the individual in a social role. However, access to work is not equally available to people with disabilities globally. Regulatory environments that prohibit discrimination and support vocational training and educational opportunities constitute a critical first step toward economic independence. However, they have not proven sufficient in themselves. In this article, we aim to infuse deeper consideration of employer practice and demand-side policy reforms into global policy discussions of the right to work for people with disabilities. We begin by documenting the employment and economic disparities existing for people with disabilities globally, followed by a description of the international, regional, and local regulatory contexts aiming to improve labor market outcomes for people with disabilities. Next, we examine how policies can leverage employer interests to further address inequalities. We discuss employer policies and practices demonstrated in the research to facilitate recruitment, hiring, career development, retention, and meaningful workplace inclusion. Translation validation of a new back pain screening questionnaire (the STarT Back Screening Tool) in French

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a major public health problem and the identification of individuals at risk of persistent LBP poses substantial challenges to clinical management. The STarT Back questionnaire is a validated nine-item patient self-report questionnaire that classifies patients with LBP at low, medium or high-risk of poor prognosis for persistent non-specific LBP. The objective of this study was to translate and cross-culturally adapt the English version of the STarT Back questionnaire into French. Methods: The translation was performed using best practice translation guidelines. The following phases were performed: contact with the STarT Back questionnaire developers, initial translations (English into French), synthesis, back translations, expert committee review, test of the pre-final version on 44 individuals with LBP, final version. Results: The linguistic translation required minor semantic alterations. The participants interviewed indicated that all items of the questionnaire were globally clear and comprehensible. However, 6 subjects (14%) wondered if two questions were related to back pain or general health. After discussion within the expert committee and with the developer of the STarT Back tool, it was decided to modify the questionnaire and to add a reference to back pain in these two questions. Conclusions: The French version of the STarT Back questionnaire has been shown to be comprehensible and adapted to the French speaking general population. Investigations are now required to test the psychometric properties (reliability, internal and external validity, responsiveness) of this translated version of the questionnaire
