The equality of 3-manifold invariants
The invariants of 3-manifolds defined by Kuperberg for involutory Hopf
algebras and those defined by the authors for spherical Hopf algebras are the
same for Hopf algebras on which they are both defined.Comment: 8 pages, definition of state sum invariant improved for clarity, plus
minor typos corrected. With 3 postscript figures. further change: BoxedEPSF

Twig girdler and twig pruner (2012)
Small branches accumulating on the ground and the presence of clean-cut twigs, and in some cases dangling (flagged) branch tips within a tree, indicate the presence of beetle pests referred to as twig girdlers and twig pruners. Both of these long-horned beetle species (Cerambycidae) attack numerous types of shade, nut and fruit trees. Heavily damaged trees appear ragged and unattractive, and young trees can become deformed by repeated attacksNew 2/95; Reviewed 1/12/1M

Managing whiteflies on indoor and outdoor plants (2012)
Whiteflies are closely related to aphids, mealybugs and scale, all of which feed by sucking sap from plants. Whiteflies can be found on the undersides of leaves and are active during the daytime when the temperature is warm. When a heavily infested plant is disturbed, white clouds of winged adults fly into the air. Some species of whiteflies can become serious pests of certain vegetable crops, greenhouse plants or ornamental plants. Two of the most important species are the greenhouse whitefly, Trialeurodes vaporariorum, and the sweet potato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci. In colder climates, whiteflies die outdoors, but in warmer climates, as well as indoors and in greenhouses, they can reproduce throughout the year with several overlapping generations.New 8/94; Revised 6/10; Reprinted 1/12/1M

Least-toxic control methods to manage indoor plant pests
"This publication discusses some of the least-toxic control options you can use for pests of houseplants, home greenhouses and interior plantscapes. Many of these tactics are recommended for homeowners who want to manage pests without using broad-spectrum synthetic pesticides. For more detailed information, please refer to the references at the end of this publication."--Page 1.Bruce A. Barrett (Department of Entomology)Includes bibliographical reference
