TECHNIQUES TO FACILITATE LEAD PRIORITIZATION FOR ONLINE LEAD GENERATION SYSTEMS

Lead generation is a very important aspect of business development and revenue generation for any company. For a higher number of deals to be closed, a lot of leads need to be generated. With a high volume of leads, it is impossible for a sales team to review each lead. Teams using a best-guess or first-come/first-served basis might not identify the best leads available. Similarly, using prior experience has the potential to cause important leads to be ignored. The number of features that can result in a favorable outcome for a given lead is large, complicated, and not deterministic, which, thus, introduces a problem that cannot be solved basic computational logic. Presented herein are techniques through which a number can be assigned to a lead using a machine learning (ML) algorithm that outputs a number that is directly proportional to probability of the lead being converted to a favorable outcome (e.g., sales, etc.). Such prioritization of leads can help a sales team converge on important leads first and not miss out on an opportunity to convert the leads. Further, by setting the ML algorithm in a continuous learning mode, the ML model will always be up-to date and can learn newer features. Feedback mechanisms can also be utilized (e.g., using a correlation of features with outputs) to further improve lead quality, thereby improving lead convergence

Critica al carácter reinsertivo de las PPL en España.

[ES]El presente trabajo trata de estudiar el incumplimiento del carácter reinsertivo al que deben estar dirigidas las penas privativas de libertad en España. Se cuestiona, además, la fundamentación, eficacia y constitucionalidad de las penas privativas de larga duración, así como una especial consideración de la relativamente nueva figura de nuestro Código Penal: la prisión permanente revisable (PPR). Así mismo, se analiza la repercusión que tiene el fenómeno del populismo punitivo en las reformas que el legislador ha llevado a cabo del Código Penal español, como las consecuencias que puede acarrear el encarcelamiento de un individuo para su desarrollo personal. Azkenik, lan honen oinarria kondena iraungitzeko prozesuan dauden pertsonei egindako hiru elkarrizketetan ere oinarritzen da.[EN]This paper attempts to study the non-compliance with the reinsertive nature of custodial sentences in Spain. It also questions the rationale, effectiveness and constitutionality of long-term custodial sentences, as well as a special consideration of the relatively new figure of our Penal Code: the permanent revisable prison (PPR). It also analyzes the repercussions of the phenomenon of punitive populism in the reforms that the legislator has carried out in the Spanish Penal Code, as well as the consequences that imprisonment of an individual can have on his or her personal development. Finally, the basis of this work is also supported by three interviews conducted with people in the process of expiring their sentences
