The purpose of this thesis is to provide actionable insight to the Walton MBA Programs Office for a cohesive social media strategy that is inclusive of all audiences. This research hopes to help the Walton MBA program better understand potential and current students based on their social media behavior and learn how social media use has changed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. This report will analyze the results of a survey crafted to better understand the social media preferences of individuals seeking graduate business degrees. From these, a social media marketing strategy can be created to tailor content to each platform based on each persona’s unique characteristics and social media behavior

Fingerprint Identification Using Noise in the Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio: Retrieving the Impedance Contrast Structure for the Almaty Basin (Kazakhstan)

Detailed knowledge of the 3D basin structure underlying urban areas is of major importance for improving the assessment of seismic hazard and risk. However, mapping the major features of the shallow geological layers becomes expensive where large areas need to be covered. In this study, we propose an innovative tool, based mainly on single station noise recordings and the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio (H/V), to identify and locate the depth of major impedance contrasts. The method is based on an identification of so-called fingerprints of the major impedance discontinuities and their migration to depth by means of an analytical procedure. The method is applied to seismic noise recordings collected in the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan). The estimated impedance contrasts vs. depth profiles are interpolated in order to derive a three-dimensional (3D) model, which after calibration with some available boreholes data allows the major tectonic features in the subsurface to be identified

Draft genome and description of Corynebacterium haemomassiliense strain Marseille-Q3615(T) sp. nov., a new bacterium isolated from a 59-year-old man with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms

International audienceIn 2020, as part of a diagnosis attempt at IHU Mediterranee Infection in Marseille (France), a blood specimen was obtained from a 59-year-old man with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms, from which we isolated the new bacterial Corynebacterium haemomassiliense strain Marseille-Q3615(T). Matrix-assisted desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) failed to identify this isolate. Analysis of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene and genome-to-Genome comparison suggested that this taxon belongs to a novel bacterial species within the family Corynebacteriaceae in the phylum Actinobacteria. We describe the main phenotypic characteristics, genome sequence and annotation of Corynebacterium haemomassiliense strain Marseille-Q3615(T), a new member of the Corynebacterium genus, which we propose as the type strain.
