MECHANICAL CHAINS: IDENTIFICATION OF DYNAMICAL RESPONSES

    Get PDF
Approaches for dynamical responses identification in example of system with three freedom degrees with tie between two of outside elements are offered. First approach bases on using of mathematical models-analogues of automation control theory, second approach bases on rules of transformation of design schemes of chains theory. Conversion from design schemes to equivalent in dynamical attitude of structural schemes of automation control is applied at using of structural method. Feedback tie in automation control system dedicated to the protection object is dynamical responses on external disturbance and at zero value of the disturbance disposed of the coerced elasticity of the system. The using of direct conversion of design schemes for the rules of chains theory shows identical results for both approaches

Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Municipal Management on the Basis Of Monitoring of Strategic Decisions of Socio-Economic Development

    Get PDF
The aim of the study is to monitor the strategies of socio-economic development of municipalities and assess the effectiveness of the rating methodology based on monitoring strategies.Research methods: used methods of structural-functional and institutional analysis.Result and scientific novelty. The article analyzes the conditions for the implementation of strategies for the socio-economic development of municipalities in the region. The problems managing the socio-economic development of the region are considered. The article provides a managerial assessment of the degree achievement of the planned indicators of the strategies for the socio-economic development of the municipalities of the Komi Republic, according to such blocks of indicators as: economic development; social development; development of the municipal government system; ensuring the safety of the population. The novelty lies in the systematization of approaches in assessing the effectiveness of state and municipal government institutions

BIOCHEMICAL VALUES OF BLOOD SERA FROM FARM ANIMALS

    Get PDF
The significanceof the main biochemical values (proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, colouring agents, low-molecular nitrogenous and mineral matters) in blood sera (plasm) from farm animals is described in the paper. The change in the content (decrease or increase) of these indicators against the normal level can have different reasons: noncontagious and infectious diseases, imbalance of ration and feeding regime

Beam instrumentation for the Tevatron Collider

The Tevatron in Collider Run II (2001-present) is operating with six times more bunches and many times higher beam intensities and luminosities than in Run I (1992-1995). Beam diagnostics were crucial for the machine start-up and the never-ending luminosity upgrade campaign. We present the overall picture of the Tevatron diagnostics development for Run II, outline machine needs for new instrumentation, present several notable examples that led to Tevatron performance improvements, and discuss the lessons for future colliders

Problems of Organizing Critical Thinking Training for University Students

    Get PDF
The paper aims to determine the factors that hinder forming and developing critical thinking of students and ways to overcome them in higher education. First, it is a problem of low motivation and a low level of self-regulation in critical thinking training. These problems reduce the effectiveness of all those methods and techniques for forming critical thinking that teachers use. We propose applying differentiated learning (multilevel learning) as one of the most effective ways to solve the problem of organizing critical thinking training. Moreover, we consider that at the beginning of training, it is necessary to determine the personal qualities of students, such as purposefulness, self-discipline, perseverance, tolerance, academic motivation, and self-regulation of cognitive activity. During the learning process, it is necessary to use multilevel tasks and exercises to cover all categories of students. This is because these tasks are based on some volitional qualities of the personality and motivation for learning. This approach is systemic and makes it possible to achieve high efficiency in teaching critical thinking

Methodology to estimate the minimum number of experiments and key microstructural parameters in macroscopic strength properties evaluation

    Get PDF
A novel methodology, based on the theory of fuzzy sets, to obtain materials with pre‐defined sets of strength properties has been analysed from the position of identifying the necessary and sufficient number of experiments needed to predict these macro characteristics and establishing which micro parameters significantly influence the macroscale results. The procedure to estimate, with a user‐defined degree of accuracy, the minimum number of experiments and significant micro parameters has been tested and verified using experimental data, obtained from digital images of material microsections under different heat treatment conditions while analysing strength properties of reinforcing steel. The results confirm the possibility of using the developed methodologies for the performance properties evaluation of materials based on the minimum number of experiments and identification of the key grain‐phase parameters

Site-selection on the basis of territorial analysis methods

    Get PDF
The object of research is the site-selection process for the rental housing construction. This form of real estate is becoming more widespread in the west, while in Russia it's development is currently on initial stage. The article proposes the site-selection solution on the basis of existing methods of territorial analysis, calculation of employment shares, location quotients, Hirschmann-Herfindahl index and Kano model application, as well as application examples of the obtained databases in the conditions of a narrowly formulated problem. The research results are the mechanisms for solving three types of problems depending on the nature of the initial data according to correspondence between the properties of the object under construction and the urban territories
