Piscines Municipals al barri de Cappont, Lleida

El solar es troba al marge esquerre del riu, al barri de Cappont, on es reconeix una situació de creixement residencial de densitat alta i nous usos docents en el seu entorn. L'actuació està localitzada en una gran parcel•la qualificada pel PGM com a residencial, zona verda i equipament comunitari, en el seu conjunt. En la parcel•la destinada a equipament comunitari es preveu la construcció de les Piscines Municipals de Cappont, fruit de les condicions econòmiques de la concessió administrativa de l’ús privatiu del terreny de domini públic situat al Camp d'Esports de Lleida per a la construcció i explotació d'una instal•lació esportiva. Aquest concessionari està obligat a satisfer a l'Ajuntament en la contraprestació econòmica d'un cànon en espècie consistent en la construcció de les instal•lacions bàsiques d'aquesta piscina municipal de barri, juntament amb una altra al barri del Secà de Sant Pere. La intervenció que en resulta -segons el PGM- és un equipament que nega la relació amb l'entorn, ja que queda enfonsat entre les elevades edificacions residencials que l'envoltaran en un futur, essent un espai tancat només utilitzable en els mesos d'estiu. La superfície de la parcel•la contemplada al PGM és de 3700m²

L’anomenat corredor mediterrani, al llarg de la costa est de la Península ibèrica, pot acabar convertint-se en un cul de sac europeu o bé en una part vital de la xarxa continental. Boira, en el present article, aposta per aprofitar les virtuts d’aquest vector de comunicacions, tant en les connexions internacionals com també a partir de la forta dinàmica econòmica entre el País Valencià i Catalunya. Low In Advantageous Personality Traits? Find An Alternative Path To Higher Job Performance

Extensive research has provided evidence that the trait positive affect (PA) and the personality trait conscientiousness are positively related to job performance (JP). Although recent studies have challenged the common perspective that these traits do not change, their variability is often low. Thus, their stability makes these traits especially useful for hiring practices. However, for developmental purposes, that same characteristic might pose limitations to effective increases in employees’ performance. The current study aims to offer a solution to contribute to the research and practice of employee development. Given the potential difficulty of changing an individual’s PA, this article develops hypotheses based on the idea that by gaining knowledge on trainable processes that mediate the relationship between PA and JP, employers can focus on those processes to increase the performance of current employees with low PA. With a sample of 131 Air Force officer candidates along the course of 2 years, general self-efficacy (GSE) and social self-efficacy (SSE) will be examined as mediators of the relationship between PA and JP. Moreover, the sixth and seventh hypotheses of the current study intend to find evidence that GSE and SSE is more predictive of JP for individuals low in conscientiousness than those higher. Thus, conscientiousness will be tested as a moderator in the relationship between GSE and JP, and SSE and JP. The findings emphasized the usefulness of developing SSE as an alternative path towards higher JP among those employees low in advantageous traits

Application of Wave Function Collapse Algorithm for Procedural Content Generation in Video Games

Treball final de Grau en Disseny i Desenvolupament de Videojocs. Codi: VJ1241. Curs acadèmic: 2021/2022This document constitutes the project report of the Video Games Design and Development Degree final project by Adrián Ramos Boira. This work is related to the procedural generation of content using the Wave Function Collapse (WFC) algorithm. This algorithm is used to build an environment following a set of constraints that ensures features such as good playability, connectivity among different zones and an appealing style in the level construction without losing the randomness of the procedural creation. Furthermore, the environment built with the WFC algorithm will be included in a simple game, named World Fighters Coliseum, which we have used to demonstrate the functionality of all the generated content. On the other hand, in this project we are going to explore other functionalities of the algorithm applying and adapting it to AI, such as building an NPC’s behaviour structure in a procedural way
