Decretul ,,Haec Sancta” și importanţa sa în cadrul conciliului de la Konstanz (1414-1418)
The solution found by the decree „Haec Sancta” was the main pawn in solving the problem within the Western Church, which arose at the end of the 14th century. Thanks to this decree, it was possible to elect a new pope, and by his election, to end the schism and to reorganise the Western church. Those who dealt with the translation of the original text of the decree „Haec Sancta” shed light, by exegesis on the text of the decree „Haec Sancta”, the origin of the council, the importance of the decree and its necessity to resolve the moment of sad remembrance of the life of the Western Church. However, the decree, has been challenged on numerous occasions, being considered only a solution of damage, and some, more critical, said that it is a heretical theory that is a reference to the constitution of the Roman Catholic Church
The rise of a connected transnational network
The thesis explores the online practices and the transnational mobilities of a community of Pentecostal Gypsies. The community has diffused from their central hub a Romanian village and is now scattered across Europe. The thesis asks: how does a mobile ethnic group remain united as it transforms from a geographically intensive community to a spatially extensive one? The research design combines analysis of geo-referenced YouTube videos, offline machine code metadata and real world ethnographic data in order to contribute to conceptual debates within migration studies about deterritorialization and the maintenance of social ties after geographical dispersion

Rural non-farm livelihood activities in Romania: A report on qualitative fieldwork in two communities
This report is based on qualitative research carried out between December 2000 and January 2001 and between November 2001 and May 2002 in two communities in Romania, one (Rotbav) in the county (judet) of Brasov and the other (Motatei-Gara) in the county of Dolj. Section 1 of the report is a presentation of the methodology and instruments used for the qualitative research, and explains the criteria used for selecting counties, communities and households. Section 2 reviews the history of the RNFE sector in Romania before examining the non-farm activities which are pursued by the people of the study villages. Section 3 summarizes the non-farm activities engaged in at household level in the communities studied. Section 4 looks at linkages between farming and involvement in non-farm activities. Section 5 examines factors and constraints which affect involvement in RNFE, focusing particularly on social factors (relational networks, ethnicity, religion). The concluding section presents an outline of important aspects of the current situation in the study villages in relation to involvement in non-farm activities. A glossary is provided at the end of the report, after the bibliography
Letchworth Garden City.
[EN] The theory and application of the garden city is one of the
foundational milestones of urbanism as it was understood in the
20th century: a hybrid and complex knowledge, which was in turn an
experimental social science and technical knowledge that had to solve
design problems and the organization of urban space. Therefore,
when studying this theme, we go into the very process of shaping
the urban planning of the twentieth century. Based on this premise,
this paper explains how the garden city theory was put into practice
thanks to the intervention of the architects Raymond Unwin and Barry
Parker through the creation of a company that managed the entire
process. But our intention is not only to describe this process, but also
to interpret it as a milestone in the history of modern urbanism, in an
argued and reasoned way.Bleahu, AS. (2021). Letchworth Garden City. La construcción de una utopía. Universitat Politècnica de València. http://hdl.handle.net/10251/182424TFG
