    Analisa Perubahan Kecepatan Pergeseran Titik Akibat Gempa Menggunakan Data SuGar (Sumatran GPS Array)

    Gempa bumi adalah getaran atau guncangan yang terjadi di permukaan bumi akibat pelepasan energi dari dalam secara tiba-tiba yang menciptakan gelombang seismik. Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan aktivitas tektonik terbesar karena Indonesia merupakan pertemuan 3 lempeng besar yaitu lempeng Indo-Australia, lempeng Eurasia, dan Lempeng Pasifik. Hingga saat ini, lempeng Indo-Australia masih terus bergerak di bawah lempeng Eurasia yang mengakibatkan Pulau Sumatera menjadi salah satu pulau di Indonesia dengan aktivitas tektonik yang cukup tinggi dan rawan bencana. Gempa yang terjadi akan menyebabkan deformasi maupun Perubahan kecepatan. Gempa yang akan digunakan sebagai penelitian adalah gempa Kepulauan Batu, 14 Februari 2005 dan gempa Sumatra Selatan 29 September 2009. Perhitungan Perubahan kecepatan ini dengan menggunakan data dari jaring GPS SuGar (Sumatran GPS Array) pada stasiun pengamatan ABGS, MSAI, NGNG, PTLO, PSMK, PSKI, TIKU dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software GAMIT. Perubahan kecepatan paling besar ada pada stasiun NGNG sebesar 1.02794 m/yr pada gempa Sumatra Selatan 29 September 2009

    Indonesia is one of the countries that had many terrorism threats in which in2002 become the appex of terrorism accident. Terrorism cases in Indonesiaare very interesting to observe because it has been decreasing gradually from2002 and ending with a decline in 2006. The Indonesian government is oftenidentified with the Police which is responsible for addressing the problems ofcrime. Polri has many roles related to terrorism mainly cooperate withinASEANAPOL. The purpose of the cooperation is to combat transnationalcrime in which terrorism is one kind of transnational crime. This researchaims is to identify the strategies and the cooperation of Polri withinASEANAPOL to combat terrorism in Indonesia from 2002 until 2006. Thisresearch uses qualitative method with descriptive- explanative type by usingliterature reviews and interviews research technique.The qualitaive method isused to oberve the natural object. The activity in qualitative method is doneinteractively and incessantly over time until complete. To answer the problem,liberal institutional theory is used in this research whilist to support thisresearch, the researcher conducted interviews to a number of institutionssuch as the Set NCB Interpol and Detachment 88. The result of this researchshows that the cooperation undertaken by Polri within ASEANAPOL tocombat terrorism indicate that the cooperation is well-succeded indicated bya decrease in cases of terrorism and followed a decrease in the number offatalities and injuries

    Exchange Rate Fluctuation in Indonesia: Vector Error Correction Model Approach

    Exchange rate in the last few years has been fluctuating highly. A number of variables were used in this research to analyze which variable has impact on exchange rate. The variables used were export, import, money supply and Bank Indonesia rate, for the period of January 2010 until September 2015, utilizing vector error correction model or VECM estimation method. The results indicate that in the long run, some variables such as import and money supply have significant correlations to exchange rate with positive and negative impact respectively, while export and BI rate have no significant correlation to exchange rate with negative and positive impact respectively. In the short run, all variables bear significant influence on exchange rate except money supply, whereas import, money supply and BI rate maintain a positive relationship with the exchange rate. Meanwhile, export has a negative influence on exchange rate. For impulse response and forecast error variance decomposition, the variable which induced the most shock to exchange rate was import

    SIMULASI DAN ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN FILTER PASIF TIPE-C DAN DOUBLE TUNED DALAM MEREDAM HARMONISA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MATLAB/SIMULINK (Studi Kasus pada Transformator Gedung Rektorat Universitas Andalas)

    Penggunaan filter pasif merupakan salah satu cara untuk mereduksi harmonisa pada sistem kelistrikan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya jenis dari filter pasif sehingga dibandingkan 2 jenis filter pasif yaitu filter Double Tuned dan Tipe-C. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan filter terbaik antara filter Double Tuned dan Tipe-C pada transformator gedung rektorat Universitas Andalas.Penelitian ini diawali dengan pengukuran spesifikasi harmonisa pada transformator gedung rektorat Universitas Andalas menggunakan power quality analyzer, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan simulasi penggunaan filter Double Tuned dan Tipe-C. Simulasi yang digunakan untuk perancangan filter adalah MATLAB/SIMULINK. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, Filter pasif Double Tuned dapat meredam harmonisa pada fasa R, S dan T secara berurutan dari yang nilai THDi-nya 13.93%, 6.10%, dan 14.11% menjadi 2.81%, 1.18%, dan 5.44%. Untuk filter pasif Tipe-C dapat meredam harmonisa pada fasa R dan T secara berurutan dari yang nilai THDi-nya 13.93% dan 14.11% menjadi 9.46% dan 9.54%. Untuk fasa S terjadi sedikit kenaikan nilai THDi dari 6.10% menjadi 6.69%. Dari perbandingan 2 jenis filter ini, filter Double Tuned memiliki hasil redaman yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan filter Tipe-C

    Pemetaan Kebisingan Lalu Lintas Di Tiga Ruas Jalan (Perintis Kemerdekaan, Ngesrep, Jatingaleh) Di Kota Semarang Akibat Kegiatan Transportasi

    Kebisingan adalah salah satu polusi yang tidak dikehendaki manusia. Dikatakan tidak dikehendaki karena dalam jangka panjang, bunyi-bunyian tersebut akan dapat mengganggu ketenangan kerja, merusak pendengaran, dan menimbulkan kesalahan komunikasi bahkan kebisingan yang serius dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Semakin lama telinga mendengar kebisingan, makin buruk pula dampak yang diakibatkannya, diantaranya adalah pendengaran dapat semakin berkurang. Berdasarkan penelitian Mirani Arlan (2011), kemacetan memicu tingginya kebisingan akibat kendaraan bermotor yang diakibatkan bunyi klakson dan mesin kendaraan. Selain itu penggunaan knalpot modifikasi (tipe racing) semakin meningkatkan hiruk-pikuk akibat kegiatan transportasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang pernah dilakukan sebelumnya diketahui bahwa rata-rata tingkat intensitas bunyi akibat kegiatan transportasi lebih besar dari 80 dB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara volume kendaraan dengan tingkat kebisingan di Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Ngesrep, dan Jatingaleh, kemudian setelah diketahui tingkat kebisingannya dilakukan uji korelasi dan pemetaan daerah kebisingan menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGIS di setiap lokasi penelitian, serta melakukan analisis SPSS untuk mengetahui hasil dari data kuesioner dan Analisis Deskriptif

    The Effect of Delphi-based Learning Media on the Students’ Learning Outcomes in Electricity and Electronic Lessons Reviewed from the Level of Independence Learning Students

    The purpose of this study is to: (1) analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students who study using Delphi-based learning media and students who learn by using Power Pont learning media in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School; (2) analyze the differences in learning outcomes in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects between students who have a high level of learning independence and students who have a low level of learning independence at Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School; (3) analyzing the interaction between the use of instructional media (delph and PPT) and the level of learning independence on learning outcomes in the Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at the Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School. This type of research is quasi-experimental using factorial 2x2 design, and the data were analyzed using Anacova two lines with the help of SPSS. The study found: (1) Learning outcomes for students using Delphi-based learning media (cognitive domain mean = 79) were significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who used Point Power learning media (cognitive domain = 73) in Basic Electricity subjects and Electronics at KAL 1 SMK Surabaya; (2) Learning outcomes for students who have TKBT (cognitive domain average = 78.17) are significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who have TKBR (cognitive domain average = 74.35) in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at KAL Vocational School. 1 Surabaya; (3) there is a significant interaction between the use of learning media (Delphi and PPT) and the level of learning independence on cognitive learning outcomes in the Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at the Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School. Research suggests: (1) Selection of learning media should be done appropriately especially if the school already has adequate infrastructure; (2) teachers in learning must be able to pay attention to the characteristics of students (learning independence) so that students are able to master the material better; and (3) learning media as a source of learning must be able to be maximally utilized by students in its use
