La auditoría gubernamental y sistema de control interno en la Dirección de Logística en la Policía Nacional del Perú - Lima, 2016

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre auditoria gubernamental y sistema de control interno en la Dirección de Logística en la Policía Nacional del Perú- Lima, 2016. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, eminentemente teórica, orientada a la búsqueda de nuevos conocimientos teóricos a efectos de corregir, ampliar o sustentar mejor la teoría existente. Los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron cuestionarios en escala de Likert para las variables auditoria gubernamental y sistema de control interno. Estos instrumentos fueron sometidos a los análisis respectivos de confiabilidad y validez, que determinaron que los cuestionarios son válidos y confiables. La muestra de investigación estuvo constituida por 116 funcionarios de la Dirección de Logística en la Policía Nacional del Perú- Lima, 2016, el muestreo fue no probabilístico. La metodología empleada es el método de investigación científica de enfoque hipotético deductivo, Del procesamiento de los datos podemos visualizar que utilizando la prueba estadística Rho de Spearman, los resultados de la investigación evidencian que existe una relación lineal estadísticamente significativa, muy alta (rs= 0,809) y directamente proporcional entre la auditoría gubernamental y el sistema de control interno en la DIRLOG PNP, Lima, 2016

Economic Factors and Settings for Market Transformation in Asia

The Asian region as an economic powerhouse gains more importance every year: the population is becoming more affluent and the role of its markets is increasing on a global scale. This article analyzes the level of economic development of Asian countries. To determine the said level, the corresponding indicators were used, among them, GDP and GDP per capita, exports and imports, key partners in trade relations, the Economic Complexity Index, and the Logistics Performance Index. To order countries by the Economic Complexity Index and the International Logistics Performance Index, quadrants are constructed. The results indicate that Japan, Singapore and South Korea are countries with high scores for both indexes. Countries interested in importing goods but not holding strong positions in the Economic Complexity Index are India and Thailand. The main factors influencing the Asian market development are people’s diligence, international trade and investment. Along with investments, global production networks and supply chain management are crucial for the Asian market

Kinship care: an evolving service delivery option

It has been eight years since the Children and Youth Services Review first special issue on kinship care. That issue was prompted by the large increase in kinship care placements that occurred in the mid-to-later 1980s and the developing research base documenting the relatively new and often controversial practice. Eight years later, state child welfare agencies continue to rely significantly on kin to act as foster parents. Moreover, federal and state policies have added legitimacy and support for kinship care placements. However, when and how kin should be used as foster parents remains an issue of immense debate. This volume adds more fuel to the fire, providing much needed research to inform the debate, yet at the same time raising more questions than it answers

Womanhood 'under terror' : an investigation into the embodied experience of Jewish-Israeli women living in a protracted conflict zone

This thesis constructs femininity within secular Jewish-Israeli socio-culture and considers the influence of 'living under terror' on models of womanhood within this culture. It is my contention that as a Western affiliated culture, Jewish-Israeli mainstream culture tends to deploy its women to buffer the existential anxiety endured by the whole society. As in other preservations of complex power hierarchies this is done through perpetuating certain models of womanhood within mainstream discourse, endowing them with the aura of naturalness. In this thesis I further argue that the global discourse on terrorism has added a significant layer to these models within the last decade. Furthermore, by juxtaposing Terror Management theory and Objectification theory, I show how sexual objectification of women, perceived as a Western value, heightens the over-sexualisation of secular Jewish-Israeli women
