A phronesis antenarrative about the understanding of money and usage of money in more phronetic ways
Storytelling and narrating can be a very efficient and great vessel for changes in our society. One of the experts in storytelling in management being David Boje, developed the notion of antenarrating. A specific type and application of antenarrating being Phronesis antenarrating. Phronesis antenarrating is developed and initiated by Wilfred Berendsen. In this discourse, the insights and fundaments of Phronesis antenarrating are further explained and applied to one of the core issues of current society. Being the misunderstandings of money and the money game and the resulting insanities and problems in our society and universes. Without a sane sensemaking process as reflected in Phronesis Antenarrating, quite a lof of the insanities in our understandings of money and the money system will most probably not be understood to the fullest. This discourse aims at developing a much more complete and sane understanding about money and the money system, and to enable a change in the money game. This should also lead, among a lot of other results, to a solution for financial crisis and for preventing any financial crisis in future. Enriching Existing Test Collections with OXPath
Extending TREC-style test collections by incorporating external resources is
a time consuming and challenging task. Making use of freely available web data
requires technical skills to work with APIs or to create a web scraping program
specifically tailored to the task at hand. We present a light-weight
alternative that employs the web data extraction language OXPath to harvest
data to be added to an existing test collection from web resources. We
demonstrate this by creating an extended version of GIRT4 called GIRT4-XT with
additional metadata fields harvested via OXPath from the social sciences portal
Sowiport. This allows the re-use of this collection for other evaluation
purposes like bibliometrics-enhanced retrieval. The demonstrated method can be
applied to a variety of similar scenarios and is not limited to extending
existing collections but can also be used to create completely new ones with

Autonomous Robotic System using Non-Destructive Evaluation methods for Bridge Deck Inspection
Bridge condition assessment is important to maintain the quality of highway
roads for public transport. Bridge deterioration with time is inevitable due to
aging material, environmental wear and in some cases, inadequate maintenance.
Non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methods are preferred for condition assessment
for bridges, concrete buildings, and other civil structures. Some examples of
NDE methods are ground penetrating radar (GPR), acoustic emission, and
electrical resistivity (ER). NDE methods provide the ability to inspect a
structure without causing any damage to the structure in the process. In
addition, NDE methods typically cost less than other methods, since they do not
require inspection sites to be evacuated prior to inspection, which greatly
reduces the cost of safety related issues during the inspection process. In
this paper, an autonomous robotic system equipped with three different NDE
sensors is presented. The system employs GPR, ER, and a camera for data
collection. The system is capable of performing real-time, cost-effective
bridge deck inspection, and is comprised of a mechanical robot design and
machine learning and pattern recognition methods for automated steel rebar
picking to provide realtime condition maps of the corrosive deck environments
The backwoods of clinical and research assessment of psychosis
The aim of this thesis was to explore and improve methodology and utility of clinically applicable dimensional, staging and clinical profiling models for patients with psychotic and related disorders. This was approached at three levels: firstly, we evaluated the psychometric properties of the dimensional assessment of symptoms by the Clinician-Rated Dimensions of Psychosis Symptom Severity, and subsequently, determining the inter-rater reliability of the clinical staging model and profile characteristics. We evaluated inter-rater reliability with and without short training courses suitable for clinical practice (Part 1). Secondly, we evaluated the validity of the clinical staging model in schizophrenia spectrum disorders. We determined the construct and clinical validity of the staging model in ambulatory and clinically admitted patients. Furthermore, we assessed whether cognitive parameters are associated with higher clinical stages in a large sample of patients with psychotic disorders (Part 2). Thirdly, we evaluated the pre-training inter-rater reliability in clinical research. Moreover, we determined the proportion of reported inter-rater reliability coefficients and training procedures in double-blind randomized clinical trials with antipsychotic and antidepressant medication. Overall, we conclude that achieving sufficient inter-rater reliability of new diagnostic methods requires more attention, both in scientific research and in daily practice.
