Досліджені індикатори, які характеризують рівень життя і розвиток регіону обумовлюють сукупність оцінок визначеного виду більш особистих властивостей та критеріїв цього поняття, які можуть бути представленими у вигляді різних комбінацій звітних статистичних показників, а в деяких випадках відповідних експертних оцінок. Пропоноване застосування підходу, який дозволятиме визначити основні напрями розвитку регіонів по інноваційній траєкторії та визначити механізми реалізації цих напрямів.The article explored contemporary issues of regional development and the factors influencing the assessment of level of development. Researched strategic objectives of regional development and defined the relationship between the estimated level of socio-economic development and quality of life of the working population. Investigated indicators that characterize the quality of life and development of the region, determine the aggregate estimates a certain kind of most important characteristics and criteria of this concept, which can be represented in a variety of combinations of reporting statistical indicators and in some cases appropriate expert estimates. The proposed approach, which will allow to identify the main directions of development of regions on innovation trajectory and determine the mechanisms for implementing these directions

On estimating the trend to unification in state regulation of natural-monopoly subsystems

Objective: from the standpoint of theoretical validity, to study the current changes in the Russian legislation on natural monopolies.Methods: modern economic theory, methods of applied system analysis, descriptive and normative modeling.Results: the article analyzes the Russian practice of state regulation related to the noticeable trend of leveling the specificity of natural monopolies and unification of management approaches. The orientation to mainly universal approaches is assessed, when the action of tools not aimed at infrastructural features analysis is extended to specific, first of all technologically specific, objects. The possibilities are shown of systemic research and assessment of the trend towards unification in a number of areas, suggesting the feasibility of taking into account the natural monopoly specificity and determining the effectiveness of management decisions in this area.Scientific novelty: for the first time, the directions of systemiс assessment are investigated, which determine the expediency of universal unification of management approaches in the areas of Russian natural monopolies and/or accounting of natural monopoly specificity.Practical significance: the approaches proposed in this paper expand the possibilities of substantiating management decisions in the system of state regulation of the Russian natural monopolies, taking into account the natural monopoly specificity. Practical application may be associated with the distinguishing of a certain discussion angle and the adjusting and supplementing the provisions initiated by legislative initiatives in the areas of natural monopolies

Comparative GC-MS study of Schizonepeta multifida essential oil from Khakassia Republic shows potentials for nutraceuticals, flavor, and conservation

Schizonepeta multifida (L.) Briq. (Lamiaceae) is among the widely used botanicals in Siberian traditional and modern health and personal care practices, shelf life extension of agricultural produce, antimicrobial, and insect repellent. We investigated the variations or differences in the chemical composition of essential oils in wild accessions harvested from two distinct geographical regions, 'habitat-1' and 'habitat-2', in the Republic of Khakassia, Siberia. The oils were obtained by subjecting the aboveground parts of the plant to hydro-distillation, with subsequent assessment of the chemical composition using GC-FID and GC-MS analyses. The oil composition varied quite a lot according the number of components (61 in samples from 'habitat-1', 45 in sample from 'habitat-2'), the dominant components (pulegone 33.36 %, limonene 20.95 %, cis-beta-ocimene 9.96 % and isomenthone 5.31 % from 'habitat-1', limonene 27.98 %, cis-beta-ocimene 14.42 %, pulegone 14.20 %, beta-myrcene 11.95 %, and terpinolene 6.33 % from 'habitat-2'). In light of the continued overharvesting resulting in genetic erosion, further studies are warranted to establish in-situ and ex-situ conservation strategies of all populations representing different chemotypes/ecotypes and identifying promising genetic lines for sustainable cultivation as a source of renewable raw material for the oil

Improvement of information support for formation of management reporting on the example of the activities of an energy company

The purpose of the study is to develop a system for generating management reporting on the production activities of an energy company on the SAP Business Objects Platform. To build a reporting system, the following tasks has been set and solved: the conceptual and datalogical models of the data warehouse were created, data areas have been selected from the general data model, the data warehouse has been designed and developed, universes for report groups have been created, a mechanism for integrating data with the data warehouse has been implemented.The paper analyses the information and technological infrastructure of an energy company as well as formulates the basic requirements for the system being created for generating reporting. Two main subsystems have been designed: data storage and integration. The process of implementing the designed subsystems in physical form has been described using the appropriate software products: SAP Hana, SAP Universe Designer, SAP Data Services, SAP Business Intelligence.Thanks to the configured system through the corporate data bus, a relatively simple data integration mechanism became possible. In its information and technological architecture, the company managed to simulate an acceptable data warehouse model and set up the appropriate data flows. A complex data warehouse model has been implemented, and a convenient platform for further data processing has been provided. A clear data integration scheme is configured using SAP Data Services, with the ability to scale and configure the data loading schedule. The developed system has been put into operation and is used by employees to make management decisions within the framework of their professional activities
