On the basis of archival data and materials of field surveys, the author presents a complete picture of the creative and professional activity in the Far East of a military engineer, a graduate of the St. Petersburg Nikolaev Engineering Academy Nikolai Vasilyevich Konovalov. ОЦЕНКА ТЫКВЫ СТОЛОВОЙ ПО БИОХИМИЧЕСКИМ ПОКАЗАТЕЛЯМ КАК ПЕРСПЕКТИВНОГО СЫРЬЯ ДЛЯ ПРОДУКТОВ ФУНКЦИОНАЛЬНОГО НАЗНАЧЕНИЯ В ДАЛЬНЕВОСТОЧНОМ РЕГИОНЕ

The production of functional food products is one of the most important directions of development of the food industry. Particular attention is paid to the creation of new balanced in composition of products enriched with functional components, allowing them to increase their nutritional and biological value. Among vegetable crops, pumpkin is a highly valuable raw material in the food industry, which has equally both nutritional and biological value, and allowing for the correction of the human nutritional status. Based on this, we has been assessed the biochemical indicators of the varieties and hybrids of table pumpkin during to keeping as a perspectives raw material for the products of functional allocation in the Far East region. The research was carried out by the department of vegetable crops and potatoes of the Far Eastern Research Institute of Agriculture in the framework of the Far East program. Biochemical studies on pumpkin were carried out in the laboratory of agriculture of the Far Eastern Research Institute of Agriculture and in the laboratory of testing of the Center for Agrochemical Service “Khabarovsk” three times: 1 - before laying on to keeping; 2 - after 1.5 months of keeping; 3 - 1 month after the previous study. The results of studies showed that the varieties Nadezhda, Zimnyaya sladkay and Japanese hybrid Orange colon after 2.5 months of keeping, there was a decrease in some biochemical parameters. The varieties Vnuchka, Zhemchuzhina and a Japanese hybrid Sweet kob there is a tendency to increase almost all the quality indicators during the whole period of keeping. The content of dry matter, Vitamin C and potassium increases significantly. A favorable period for the processing of raw materials in the manufacture of the products of functional allocation is 1-2 months after harvesting for the Nadezhda variety and 1-4 months for the Vnuchka variety. Perspectives for the Far Eastern region in the manufacture of the products of functional allocation from foreign varieties are the Zimnyaya sladkay variety and the Japanese hybrid Orange colon.Производство продуктов функциональной направленности является одним из важнейших направлений развития пищевой промышленности. Особое внимание отводится созданию новых сбалансированных по составу продуктов, обогащенных функциональными компонентами, позволяющими повысить их пищевую и биологическую ценность. Среди овощных культур тыква является высокоценным сырьем в пищевой промышленности, обладающим в равной степени как пищевой, так и биологической ценностью, и позволяющим осуществлять коррекцию пищевого статуса человека. Исходя из этого, нами была дана оценка биохимических показателей сортов и гибридов тыквы столовой в период хранения как перспективного сырья для продуктов функционального назначения в Дальневосточном регионе. Исследования проводили в отделе овощных культур и картофеля ФГБНУ «Дальневосточный научно-исследовательский институт сельского хозяйства» в рамках программы «Дальний Восток». Биохимические исследования по тыкве осуществляли в лаборатории земледелия ФГБНУ «ДВ НИИСХ» и в испытательной лаборатории ФГБУ Центра агрохимической службы «Хабаровский» трижды: 1 −перед закладкой на хранение; 2 −через 1,5 месяца хранения; 3 −через 1 месяц после предыдущего исследования. Результаты исследований показали, что у сортов Надежда, Зимняя сладкая и японского гибрида Orange colon после 2,5 месяцев хранения наблюдалось снижение некоторых биохимических показателей. Сорта Внучка, Жемчужина и японский гибрид Sweet kob имеют тенденцию к увеличению практически всех качественных показателей в течение всего срока хранения. Значительно увеличивается содержание сухого вещества, витамина С и калия. Благоприятный период для переработки сырья при изготовлении продуктов функционального назначения −1-2 месяца после уборки – для сорта Надежда и 1-4 месяца – для сорта Внучка. Перспективными для Дальневосточного региона при изготовлении продуктов функционального назначения из инорайонных сортов являются сорт Зимняя сладкая и японский гибрид Orange colon

РЕДКОЕ КЛИНИЧЕСКОЕ НАБЛЮДЕНИЕ ПАЦИЕНТА СО СМЕШАННОЙ СЕРОЗНО-НЕЙРОЭНДОКРИННОЙ КИСТОЗНОЙ НЕОПЛАЗИЕЙ ПОДЖЕЛУДОЧНОЙ ЖЕЛЕЗЫ

Background. Serous cystic pancreatic neoplasm is a rare pancreatic tumor, accounting for 1–2 % of all pancreatic tumors. In 2010,  mixed serous neuroendocrine cystic neoplasia was included into the classification of the WHO for pancreatic tumors. Only a few cases of this disease have been reported in the literature. Mixed serous  neuroendocrine cystic neoplasia is often associated with von Hippel  Lindau disease. Most authors recommend surgery as a main treatment of this disease.Case report. We present a case with mixed serous neuroendocrine  cystic neoplasia not associated with von Hippel Lindau disease. The  patient underwent spleen – preserving distal pancreas resection. The diagnosis was histologically and immunohistochemically  verified. There is no evidence of disease recurrence within 10  months after surgery. Conclusion. Histological examination of the  resected serous cystadenoms should take into account the possibility of combining this pathology with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.  For the purpose of verification, the use of immunohistochemical  examination is required. Radical surgical resection allows patients  with this disease to be cured.Актуальность. Серозные кистозные опухоли поджелудочной железы являются редкими неоплазиями, которые встречаются в 1–2 % среди всех опухолевых поражений  поджелудочной железы. В 2010 г. в классификацию ВОЗ для опухолей поджелудочной  железы была включена смешанная серозно-нейроэндокринная кистозная неоплазия. В  отечественной литературе не описаны случаи этого заболевания, в зарубежной – лишь 17  клинических случаев. В большинстве случаев смешанная серозно-нейроэндокринная  кистозная неоплазия встречается в сочетании с болезнью von Hippel Lindau. По данным  литературы, при подозрении на данный вид опухоли большинство авторов склонны к хирургическому методу лечения.Описание клинического случая. Приводим наблюдение пациента со смешанной серозно-нейроэндокринной кистозной неоплазией, не связанной с болезнью von Hippel Lindau.  Подробно описана клиническая картина, разобраны этапы диагностического поиска. На  предоперационном этапе достоверной морфологической верификации получить не удалось. Пациенту проведено радикальное оперативное лечение: спленсохранная  дистальная резекция поджелудочной железы. Диагноз был верифицирован после операции  на основании гистологического и иммуногистохимического исследований. При контрольном  обследовании через 10 мес после операции состояние пациента удовлетворительное, признаков рецидива не выявлено.Заключение. Смешанная серозно-нейроэндокринная кистозная неоплазия поджелудочной  железы является крайне редкой патологией. Информативность предоперационной  морфологической верификации затруднительна и невысока, следовательно, на  предоперационном этапе данный диагноз может быть легко пропущен. При  патологогистологическом обследовании резецированных серозных цистаденом должна  учитываться возможность сочетания данной патологии с нейроэндокринной опухолью  поджелудочной железы. С целью верификации необходимо использование  иммуногистохимического исследования. Вовремя выполненное радикальное оперативное вмешательство позволяет достигнуть полного излечения

Towards harmonizing competing models: Russian forests' net primary production case study

This paper deals with the issue of reconciling competing stochastic estimates provided by independent sources. We employ an integration method based on a principle of mutual compatibility of prior estimates. The method does not take into account credibility of the sources of the estimates, including their past performance. The quality of integration is evaluated in terms of change in the probability distribution. We use the method to integrate two types of estimates of the annual Net Primary Production (NPP) of the forest ecosystems in seven bioclimatic zones in Russia. The estimates are generated based on an empirical landscape-ecosystem approach and on an ensemble of dynamic global vegetation models; the gaps in thei estimates reach 23%. Elimination of the gaps may help better quantify the input of the terrestrial ecosystems to the global carbon cyce. The main result of this paper is the evidence of applicability of the method for selection a set of candidates for credible integrated estimates of uncertain ecological parameters (like forest NPP) integrating prior estimates
