    Inspeksi kualitas daun tembakau melibatkan sensor manusia, uji merokok atau analisis kimia. Metode ini membutuhkan waktu dan biaya yang tingg. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menerapkan aplikasi pendeteksi kualitas daun tembakau dengan mengunakan pengolahan citra dan mengetahui cara mengemplementasikan pengelolahan citra dalam aplikasi pendeteksi daun tembakau.Color thresholding merupakan proses seleksi (filter) terhadap suatu nilai warna, dimana gambar akan dilakukan penyelesaian objek utama kemudian perhitungan nilai RGB dan penentuan kategori dengan memberikan variable sesuai nilai komposisi RGB pada gambar daun, langkah berikutnya hasil analisis akan disimpan ke database Microsoft Access dan mengunakan bahasa Pemrograman Delphi 7 untuk perancangan sistem.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem penunjang keputusan yang dapat menampilkan rekomendasi daun berkualitas untuk dikelolah lebih lanjut berbasis desktop yang diolah mengunakan citra RGB dan Thresholding yang memiliki akurasi sebesar 36% untuk deteksi kualitas daun tembakau.ix, 84 hlm.; 29 c

    Education and Tourism: Optimizing Offline Learning through Snakes and Ladders Game at the Islamic Tourism Study Program of IAIN Parepare

    Purpose: This article's goal is to suggest classroom action research to enhance tourism learning through the game of snakes and ladders. Method: This study was conducted in a classroom setting from October 18 through November 14, 2021. 33 students are the study's participants. There were four stages of this classroom action research project: planned, stages, preparation, execution, and assessment. Result: The class activity revealed that no students in the first cycle received a pre-test score of 75, that only 5% of students actively engaged in their learning, and that the classroom environment was monotonous. Contrary to the previous cycle, cycle II's use of the snake and ladder game resulted in a score of 98 percent for students who scored above the 75th percentile and an increase in participation of 90 percent. Additionally, they participate in their education actively and expressively, which has a favorable impact on the learning environment. Contribution: In various segments, including PAUD, elementary, and junior high schools, snakes and ladders media has long been used to motivate students to learn, improve learning outcomes, and boost self-confidence.     Enhanced technique for prediction of Z-R relationship in tropical region

    Abstract. Over the years, research has been directed to investigate radar as potential tools for estimating rain. The radar reflectivity is measured by comparing the location of the rain gauge and the associated vertical path at certain altitude. The latitude and longitude of the rain gauge is identified to pinpoint the exact associated location by using Rainbow® 5 meteorological software. In this work, radar reflectivity was estimated by using S-band Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TWDR) data at Malaysian KLIA radar station. The rain gauge is owned by Malaysian Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) at several locations within the vicinity of the radar. A technique to estimate the Z-R relationship by using radar reflectivity information and rainfall rate from rain gauge values is demonstrated in this article. Comparisons between radar reflectivity and actual rain gauge measurement is presented. Preliminary findings using available Z-R relation shows similar values with the actual measurement and suitable to be used in tropical climate country such as Malaysia

The chemo-enzymatic method of epoxidation of palm oil and palm kernel oil were performed with the presence of lipase as biocatalyst. The method for epoxidation of plant oil, comprising the steps of dissolving a mixture of oil in a non-polar solvent, adding enzymes to the mixture, adding hydrogen peroxide gradually at a time interval, stirring the mixture, filtering the mixture for removal of enzyme, washing the mixture with a polar solvent and removing the solvent by evaporation
