The technological scenarios in Augmented Reality (AR): educational possibilities in university studies
We are facing a technology, Augmented Reality, with an increasing incidence in teaching and that together with mobile technology, are configured as one of the most effective binomials to support ubiquitous and significant learning processes. The Design of a Research: RAFODIUN Project
Se incluyen las diferentes fases que hemos tenido en cuenta, así como los principales resultados que se van obteniendoIn the present article, as example of an investigation presented in the field of the social sciences, an investigation realized about the design and production of objects of Augmented Reality (AR). There are included the different phases that we have born in mind, as well as the principal results that are obtained
Evaluation of objects of learning in Augmented Reality: pilot study in the degree of Medicine
Augmented Reality (AR) in contexts of universitary education, technology which is
considered emergent and that will have a strong level of penetration in our educational
centers and universities to a nearby horizon. In order to analyze the perceptions that
the pupils were showing with regard to the technical and aesthetic quality, and the
facility of utilization, of objects produced for the students of the degree of Medicine
who were dealing the subject of «Human Anatomy I», given in the first course of the
above mentioned Degree, a pilot study was realized where the students intergesticulated
with the same ones and finally they had to evaluate them, for it, it was created
and reliabited a specific instrument. The opposing results show different aspects that
go from: the significant perceptions that the produced objects have woken up in the
students, its facility of use and its possibility of joining the education. The opposing
results coincide with the reached one in other works
Adoption of augmented reality technology by university students
In recent times, Augmented Reality has gained more relevance in the field of education. This relevance has been
enhanced due to its ease of use, as well as the availability of the technical devices for the students. The present
study was conducted with students enrolled in the Pedagogy Degree in the Faculty of Education at the University
of Seville. The objective was to understand the degree of technological acceptance of students during their
interaction with the AR objects produced, the performance achieved by the students, and if their gender affected
their acquisition of knowledge. For this, three data collection instruments were utilized: a multiple choice test for
the analysis of the student's performance after the interaction, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) diagnostic instrument, created by Davis (1989), and an “ad hoc” instrument created so that the students could
evaluate the class notes enriched with the AR objects created. The study has allowed us to broaden the scientific
knowledge of the TAM by Davis, to understand that AR objects can be utilized in university teaching, and to know
that the student's gender does not influence learning.Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain EDU-5746-
Old people and social networks. A study of their perceptions
We will offer the results achieved in a research project that was developed in the different senior andalusian universities. In response to the objectives, a triangulation methodology between methods was carried out. The results extracted and focused specifically on one of the dimensions of the study related to “their perceptions" showed that in spite of the advantages and utilities asserts that the collective offer the use of such tools are still reluctant to use, so there is a need to develop training programs that stimulate their approac
