Структура і динаміка ценопопуляцій Galanthus nivalis L. (Amaryllidaceae) на північній межі ареалу у Волинському Поліссі

Nineteen new cenopopulations of Galanthus nivalis L. were found which are situated beyond general part of the area, and this helped to set the modern northern boundary of the species spreading in the Volynian Polissia. The age and spatial structure of populations with various degree of man's impact is described. According to the study of cenopopulations dynamics and herbarium and literary data it is proved that the species has been spread in the recent 100 years from the southern regions of the general part of the area to the floodlands forest of the Volynian Polissia.Виявлено 19 ценопопуляцій Galanthus nivalis L., що знаходяться за межами основної частини ареалу, завдяки чому встановлено сучасну північну межу поширення підсніжника у Волинському Поліссі. Описується вікова і просторова структура популяцій із різним ступенем антропогенного впливу. На підставі вивчення динаміки ценопопуляцій, а також гербарних і літературних даних доводиться, що вид поширився за останні 100 років із південних районів основної частини ареалу на північ у заплавні ліси Волинського Полісся

Інтродукційні популяції Scopolia carniolica Jacq. (Solanaceae) різного географічного походження у Національному ботанічному саду ім. М.м. Гришка НАН України

The data about state and structure of introduction’s populations of Scopolia carniolica Jacq. of Carpathian, Podolsky and Caucasian origin on botanical and geographical areas of M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine are given. Floral structure of some formed forest’s model communities are presented. The terms of phenological phases of flowering and fruiting of S. carniolica in conditions of Kyiv are given.Наведено відомості щодо стану та структури інтродукційних популяцій Scopolia carniolica Jacq. карпатського, подільського і кавказького походження на ботаніко-географічних ділянках Національного ботанічного саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України. Описано флористичну структуру низки сформованих лісових культурфітоценозів. Наведено строки проходження фенологічних фаз цвітіння і плодоношення особин S. carniolica в умовах м. Києва

AROUND THE ERDÖS–GALLAI CRITERION

By an (integer) partition we mean a non-increasing sequence $\lambda=(\lambda_1, \lambda_2, \dots)$ of non-negative integers that contains a finite number of non-zero components. A partition $\lambda$ is said to be graphic if there exists a graph $G$ such that $\lambda = \mathrm{dpt}\,G$, where we denote by  $\mathrm{dpt}\,G$ the degree partition of $G$ composed of the degrees of its vertices, taken in non-increasing order and added with zeros. In this paper, we propose to consider another criterion for a partition to be graphic, the ht-criterion, which, in essence, is a convenient and natural reformulation of the well-known Erdös–Gallai criterion for a sequence to be graphical. The ht-criterion fits well into the general study of lattices of integer partitions and is convenient for applications. The paper shows the equivalence of the Gale–Ryser criterion on the realizability of a pair of partitions by bipartite graphs, the ht-criterion and the Erdös–Gallai criterion. New proofs of the Gale–Ryser criterion and the Erdös–Gallai criterion are given. It is also proved that for any graphical partition there exists a realization that is obtained from some splitable graph in a natural way. A number of information of an overview nature is also given on the results previously obtained by the authors which are close in subject matter to those considered in this paper

The history of dendrological park in Molochki (Chudnivskij district Zhytomirskij region) is elucidated. Composing in 1862 "Catalog of trees and shrubs cultivated in Molochki", which is analysed. Recommendations for organisation of botanical monument of nature are given.Висвітлено історію дендрологічного парку в Молочках (Чуднівський р-н Житомирської обл.). Проаналізовано складений у 1862 р. "Каталог дерев і кущів, які зростають у Молочках". Запропоновано оголосити старі дерева парку ботанічною пам’яткою природи

Рослинний покрив урочища “Хілінські гори” на Поліссі

The unique complex of pine forest and mire vegetation of landscape unit Khilinski Gory are characterized. New locations of rare species of flora Polesie (Jurinea cyanoides, Luzula sylvatica, Otites eugeniae, Polypodium vulgare, Tragopogon ukrainicus) are described.
