Nowadays, several studies have been done in the area of consumer behavior towards the nature of purchasing and after purchasing behavior of customers, while the consumer experience towards the brand may be one of the most important factors influencing consumers' reaction towards the brand. This study, with the aim of evaluating the effect of brand experience on consumers' response tries to investigate the consumers' behavior after experiencing sporting goods brands (Nike and Adidas). The present study in terms of method is descriptive - survey. Also, the statistic population of this study is the Nike and Adidas apparel consumers in Tehran and sampling is in the form of non-randomly (availability) and the data collection tool is a standardized questionnaire. It is noted that after sampling, 460 questionnaires were distributed and finally, 385 questionnaires were chosen. After collecting the questionnaires, the confirmatory factor analysis was used to inferential analysis of data and particularly, the structural equation model is used for hypotheses testing. In this study, eight hypotheses were proposed. The results showed that the impact of brand experience on the brand reputation, brand equity and attitude towards brand was significantly and positively confirmed. Also, the impact of brand credibility and brand attitude on brand equity was confirmed and the hypotheses based on the effect of brand equity on willing to pay more, brand development, and brand preference were positively and significantly approved

Assessment of technology transfer process in Iranian power industry

One of the problems facing industries in developing countries is lack of effective transfer of imported technology and the most important reason of this shortcoming is that technology transfer processes are not gone through properly. Despite some barriers and problems associated with technology transfer from an industrial country to a developing country, if the transfer is not designed and prepared based on a technology plan, the developing country could achieve the technology by properly going through technology transfer processes. However, the most important point is that proper and successful transfer of technology is achieved when all processes of technology transfer are followed properly and successfully. Also, achievement of technology transfer process is evaluated by some comprehensive assessments. In the present study, after a review of literature about technology transfer, a pattern for technology transfer process is proposed in Mapna Company, which is the largest Iranian power industries company, and achievement of technology transfer process in Mapna Company is evaluated based on the pattern

BUSINESS MODELS DESIGN IN BUSINESS NETWORKS

    Get PDF
Previous research in the area of business models has focused on their use in the context of an individual organization and has failed to incorporate considerations associated with a network of business partners in a candidate business model. Building on existing literature, this paper reports on an ongoing work which investigates the challenges associated with designing business models for wider business operation scenarios, commonly known as business networks, where there is a need to foresee and manage critical decision-making points. The research methodology combines literature review and interactive research including insights derived from participant discussions in a research workshop. The documented data captured during the workshop was used as an input for further refinement of the initial networked business model design constructs. The result is a conceptual framework that provides a set of interrelated design elements for business models in network environments. The design elements are the decision points for an organization where its networked operation has to be configured, operated, optimized and dynamically reconfigured. The framework was validated through a case study in the oil and gas industry with the aim of improving operational planning among business partners. Using Theory of Constraints in selecting product mix

    Get PDF
Theory of Constraints suggests when the product was limited by bottleneck, the best strategy for selecting the product mix is based on the throughput - system performance- in terms of the desired constraint. This issue is not true for products which have been limited by a few quantities . Four realities, which are in opposition to the current thought in TOC literature, have been proved in this article. For instance, the mixed products include some things which have the product lowest margin and the lowest throughput ratio in a limited time and violate marginal and TOC approaches. Such formula constraints which caused by selected mixed products have been proved in this article

The assessment of natural scaffolds ability in chondrogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells

The ability of cartilage to repair damage is limited due to lack of blood vessels and low cell density. Recently, tissue engineering is considerably preferred to other treatments as a way to solve this problem. Regardless of cell sources, one of the crucial factors in tissue engineering is to select an appropriate scaffold, which is essential for healing and renewal procedure of tissues in vivo and in vitro. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were isolated from adipose tissue in liposuction surgeries by use of collagenase enzyme. After verification by flow cytometry methods, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) were embedded into alginate and agarose scaffolds, separately; and then they were cultured in chondrogenic medium for 3 weeks. The ability of alginate and agarose scaffolds was assessed by use of MTT assay and histological analysis. In addition, analysis of chondrogenic genes expression by Real-time PCR was done. The obtained data were analyzed statistically by means of SPSS software. There was a significant difference between alginate and agarose groups in maintaining cells viable but, about chondrogenic differentiation analyzed by use of real-time PCR, statistical analysis has shown a significant difference in expression of aggrecan (as a chondrocyte-specific gene) and collagen II (as an chondrocyte-specific gene) between cell/alginate and cell/agarose and MSCs (p<0.05). Chondrocyte differentiation of cells was verified by histological analysis. Alginate scaffold can provide a suitable environment for chondrogenic differentiation of  adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells. Keywords: Alginate; Agarose; Chondrogenic differentiation; Mesenchymal stem cell; Tissue engineerin

H2 Formation on the Dust Grain Surface in Divertor Plasma

Edge plasma of divertor in tokamak is characterized by different values of plasma parameters (plasmadensity and temperature), plasma composition and overcoming plasma dynamics processes. We survey amodel for theoretical study of the interaction of hydrogen with dust surface and apply our results the H2formation on dust grain surfaces in the divertor. In this model, considering both physisorbed andchemisorbed sites on the grain surface and then adatoms mobility to go from one site to other site bythermal diffusion, describes the formation of H2 on grain surfaces. We find H2 formation rate on the hightemperature dust surfaces in divertor for a range of dust and gas temperatures and densities
