Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanam Cabai Rawit (Capsicum Frustescens L.) Yang Diberi Berbagai Pupuk Organik Dan Jenis Mulsa

This research was conducted in the Village Poboya, the city of Palu, Central Sulawesi. From December 2014 - April 2015, with the aim to determine the growth and yield of cayenne pepper by organic various fertilizers and type of mulch. This study uses (RAK) factorial design with two factors. The first factor is the organic fertilizer (P) consisting of three (3) types: P0 = Without Organic Fertilizer, P1 = Manure Ram, P2 = Bokasi rest of the plant. The second factor is the type of mulch (M) consisting of three (3) types: M0 = Without mulch, M1 = Rice Straw Mulch, Mulch M2 = Coconut Fiber. There are 9 combined treatment, treatment was repeated 3 times. Each treatment combination was represented by two (2) polybag or two plants so that there are 54 units of the plant (polybag). The results showed no interaction between the various types of organic fertilizers and mulch. Organic fertilizer goat fold give the best results of growth and crop yield compared with Bokashi cayenne and without fertilizer. Similarly, rice straw mulch is better than coconut fiber

Pengaruh Berbagai Jenis Bokhasi terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Bayam Giti Hijau

This study aims to determine the effect of various types of bokashi on growth and yield of spinach green giti. The study used Randomized Block Design with three replications. The treatments were several doses bokashi consisting of five levels i.e.: control, bokashi leaves of Gliricidia 40 t/ha, bokashi leaves johar 40 t/ha, bokashi leaves lamtoro 40 t/ha, and bokashi goat manure 40 t/ha. Each treatment were consists of three replicates so that there are 3 x 5 = 15 experimental units. Processing research data conducted by using ANOVA subsequent treatment effect was tested further by the least significant difference test. The results showed that the provision of various types of bokashi not significantly affect the number of leaves, plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, but the real impact on plant fresh weight

PKPU Policy Number 20 of 2018 Concerning the Prohibition of Former Corruptors as Legislative Candidates in the 2019 General Election

This research was conducted to analyse the prohibition of former corruptors’ ability to become legislative candidates based on PKPU Policy Number 20 of 2018, in terms of synchronizing the policy with higher laws and examining it from the perspective of political ethics and legal politics in eradicating corruption in Indonesia. The research method adopted was normative juridical, and the types and sources of data used were secondary data, applying data sources from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The results of data processing are presented in the descriptive analysis. The outcomes of this research indicate that the synchronization of PKPU policy law No. 20 of 2018 regarding the disallowance of ex-corruptors from becoming legislative candidates clash with higher laws and regulations, namely Law Number 7 of 2017 regarding elections in conjunction with Law Number 12 of 2011 about the formation of laws and regulations. Therefore, the conclusion of the KPU regulations has no binding legal force. The actualization of a fair and sovereign election requires all policymakers’ support, especially in the enforcement and application of political ethics and the law to eliminate corruption in Indonesia. Hubungan Antara Intensitas Aktivitas Fisik Dan Kadar Asam Urat Serum Pada Populasi Sindrom Metabolik

Background: WHO estimated that the prevalence of metabolic syndrome was occured in 23% of male population and 12% of female population in the world. Hyperuricemia had a strong relationship with each component of metabolic syndrome. Earlier studies reported that physical activity played an important role to prevent hyperuricemia.Aim: To find out the assosiation between intensity of physical activity and serum uric acid levels in metabolic syndrome population.Methods: This study was an observational analytic study with cross-sectional design. This study was conducted in RW X, Padangsari, Banyumanik, Semarang in a population based sample aged over 40. The collected data are subject characteristics, serum uric acid levels, andintensity of physical activity. Global physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ), developed by WHO, was used to determine the intensity of physical activity. The Spearman test and chi- square test were used for the statistical analyses.Results: The data showed that 40,6% of 32 subjects with metabolic syndrome had light physical activity, 25% had moderate physical activity and 34,4% had vigorous physical activity. The examination of serum uric acid levels showed that 40,6 % of them had high serum uric acid levels. The Spearman test showed a moderate degree positive correlation between intensity of physical activity and serum uric acid levels (r=0,491; p=0,004). The chi-square test showed a significant relationship between intensity of physical activity categories and serum uric acid levels categories (p=0,023; prevalence ratio 4,17).Conclusions: There was a positive correlation with a moderate degree between intensity of physical activity and serum uric acid levels in metabolic syndrome population

Invigorasi Benih Nangka (Artocarpus Heterophyllus Lamk) Setelah Periode Simpan Dengan Pemberian Zpt

Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh invigorasi benih nangka dengan pemberian ZPT pada berbagai lama simpan serta konsentrasi ZPT terbaik pada masing-masing lama simpan telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tadulako, Palu dari bulan September sampai Desember 2012. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 Faktor yaitu lama simpan dan pemberian ZPT dengan 3 ulangan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh dengan dosis tertentu pada berbagai lama simpan memberikan pengaruh berbeda terhadap invigorasi benih serta pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh 0.05% pada waktu simpan 4 dan 5 minggu menghasilkan invigorasi benih nangka yang terbaik

Hubungan Asupan Energi Dengan Kejadian Obesitas Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Di Kota Manado

: Obesity is a pathological condition in the presence of excessive fat accumulation of what is required for the function of the body. Obesity in terms of health is one of the nutritional disease, as a result of consuming food that far exceeds their needs This study aims to determine the relationship of energy intake with the incidence of obesity among primary school students in the city of Manado with analytical survey method using a Case Control design (Case Control ) sample 136 using the chi-square test (x2), at the 95% significance level (α 0.05). research proves that there is a significant correlation between high energy intake with the incidence of obesity among primary school students in the city of Manado conclusion there is a significant association between energy intake with the incidence of obesity with p = 0.002. High energy intake of the obtained value Odds Ratio (OR) of 4.058 (95% CI = 1.320 to 2.417), suggestions should be made prevention through nutrition counseling about obesity and risk factors of obesity in primary school students in each school through school health promotion programs by the Department of Health and in collaboration with relevant agencies
