Global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence, multiplicity one and classification of automorphic representations
In this paper we show a local Jacquet-Langlands correspondence for all
unitary irreducible representations. We prove the global Jacquet-Langlands
correspondence in characteristic zero. As consequences we obtain the
multiplicity one and strong multiplicity one theorems for inner forms of GL(n)
as well as a classification of the residual spectrum and automorphic
representations in analogy with results proved by Moeglin-Waldspurger and
Jacquet-Shalika for GL(n).Comment: 49 pages; Appendix by N. Grba
Demodulation of Spatial Carrier Images: Performance Analysis of Several Algorithms Using a Single Image
http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs11340-013-9741-6#Optical full-field techniques have a great importance in modern experimental mechanics. Even if they are reasonably spread among the university laboratories, their diffusion in industrial companies remains very narrow for several reasons, especially a lack of metrological performance assessment. A full-field measurement can be characterized by its resolution, bias, measuring range, and by a specific quantity, the spatial resolution. The present paper proposes an original procedure to estimate in one single step the resolution, bias and spatial resolution for a given operator (decoding algorithms such as image correlation, low-pass filters, derivation tools ...). This procedure is based on the construction of a particular multi-frequential field, and a Bode diagram representation of the results. This analysis is applied to various phase demodulating algorithms suited to estimate in-plane displacements.GDR CNRS 2519 “Mesures de Champs et Identification en Mécanique des Solide
On unitarizability in the case of classical p-adic groups
In the introduction of this paper we discuss a possible approach to the
unitarizability problem for classical p-adic groups. In this paper we give some
very limited support that such approach is not without chance. In a forthcoming
paper we shall give additional evidence in generalized cuspidal rank (up to)
three.Comment: This paper is a merged and revised version of ealier preprints

Stabilizing Heteroscedastic Noise With the Generalized Anscombe Transform. Application to Accurate Prediction of the Resolution in Displacement and Strain Maps Obtained With the Grid Method.
International audienceThe objective of this paper is to show that it is possible to predict the noise level in displacement and strain maps obtained with the grid method, but that actual noise of camera sensors being heteroscedastic, it is necessary to stabilize this noise in grid images prior to employing the predicting formulas. The procedure used for this purpose relies on the Generalized Anscombe Transform. This transform is first described. It is then shown that experimental and theoretical resolutions in strain maps obtained with the grid method are in good agreement when this transform is employed

Effects of Marine Residue-Derived Fertilizers on Strawberry Growth, Nutrient Content, Fruit Yield and Quality
An outdoor experiment was performed for six months to evaluate the effects of organic fertilizers obtained from marine residual materials on strawberry plants. Three types of organic fertilizers were used, i.e., cod (Gadus morhua) bone powder, common ling (Molva molva) bone powder, and pellets obtained by mixing small cod bone powder and rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) residues. A tabletop system for strawberry cultivation was designed, in which two bare-root strawberry plants of cultivar ‘Albion’ were planted in a peat substrate in each pot. Five treatments were applied, i.e., cod bone powder (F1), common ling bone powder (F2), small cod bone powder and rockweed residue pellets (FA), chemical fertilizer (E), and a control (C). The number of leaves and their nutrient content, fruit yield and quality characteristics of the strawberries grown using the organic fertilizers were similar or better than those corresponding to treatments E and C. Organic fertilizers derived from the residues of fish and macroalgae could be a promising alternative to chemical fertilizers in strawberry production

More than 9 years of continuous trastuzumab treatment in metastatic breast cancer without cardiac toxicity: a case report and literature review
The main concern of long-term use of trastuzumab remains its association with potential cardiac side effects. Although these side effects are real, they are probably overemphasized. We report the case of a woman with metastatic breast cancer, who is currently in complete remission, and who received trastuzumab continuously for more than 9 years, without any significant cardiac toxicity
Investigation of the grid method for accurate in-plane strain measurement
International audienceThis paper deals with the accurate measurement of the in-plane strain components on a deformed specimen using the grid method. A crossed grid transferred on the specimen surface is used for this purpose. Images of this grid are captured with a CCD camera before and after deformation. The complete strain state is deduced by processing these images with a suitable procedure described in the paper. The originality of this procedure is twofold. The first one is to determine the phase derivatives directly from the images. The second one is to compensate local variations of the grid pitch as well as local rotations of the grid, because these two phenomena may corrupt the final strain maps if they are not taken into account. The metrological performance of this procedure is assessed and discussed in terms of accuracy, measurement noise and spatial resolution. Two types of tests are used for this purpose: a translation and a rotation. These tests simulate the effect of rigid-body motion in a strain field that is rigorously equal to zero. One example finally illustrates the procedure: a tensile test performed on an open-hole specimen
