    Synthesis of guanidine derivatives of quinoxalines

    Cilj ovoga rada bio je dobiti spojeve 17, 18, 19, 20 i 21 te ih spektroskopski karakterizirati. Također, na primjeru jednog niza reakcija uspoređena su iskorištenja reakcija provedenih klasičnim putem u otopini i onih provedenih mehanokemijski. Navedeni spojevi dobiveni su reakcijama kondenzacije, redukcije, gvaniliranja te deprotekcije. Kao početni spojevi koristili su se alkilirani nitroizatin odnosno izatin i odgovarajući diamin. Naknadno će u drugom laboratoriju biti ispitana njihova svojstva vezanja na DNA i RNA.The aim of this work was to obtain compounds 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 and characterize them spectroscopically. Also, on the example of a series of reactions, the efficiency of reactions carried out by the classical method in solution and those carried out mechanochemically were compared. Those compounds were obtained by condensation, reduction, guanylation and deprotection reactions. Alkylated nitroisatin or isatin and the corresponding diamine were used as starting compounds. At some point in the future their binding properties to DNA and RNA will be tested in another laboratory

    Herbicidi su najučinkovitiji i financijski najisplativiji način borbe protiv korova. Unatoč razvoju korova koji su otporni na herbicide, industrija herbicida se razvija, a upotreba povećava. Međutim, prilikom uporabe važno je održati sigurnosne uvijete kako ne bi došlo do zdravstvenih problema kod ljudi ili zagađenja okoliša. Nakon što herbicid dospije u biljku, dio se troši, a dio se razgrađuje. Razgradnja može biti biološka, odnosno mikrobiološka, kemijska ili uz pomoć svjetlosnih zraka UV i vidljivog zračenja. U ovom radu prikazane su i objašnjene sheme biorazgradnje najčešće upotrebljavanih herbicida.Herbicides are the most effective and economical way to control weeds. Despite the development of herbicide-resistant weeds, herbicide industry is evolving and its use is increasing. During their use it is important to maintain safety conditions so not to cause health problems to people or pollute the environment. After the herbicide gets into the plant, a part of it is spent, and the rest is decomposed. The decomposition can be biological, that is to say, microbiological, chemical or with the help of UV light rays or from the visible spectra. In this paper biodegradation schemes of the most commonly used herbicides are presented and explained
