« Diserzioni ». Note sul pacifismo e sull’antimilitarismo di Edmondo De Amicis

Edmondo De Amicis è tra i pochi scrittori italiani che hanno partecipato in prima persona alle diverse fasi del Risorgimento e hanno descritto i problemi e le difficoltà della nuova nazione. L’ufficiale De Amicis ha infatti vissuto la sconfitta di Custoza e la gioia di entrare a Roma con le truppe italiane ; e allo stesso modo lo scrittore ha raccontato nella Vita militare le fatiche e le soddisfazioni dei soldati. La riflessione sui problemi reali della nazione e l’incontro con le idee socialiste ha negli anni mutato l’atteggiamento dell’uomo e dello scrittore nei confronti della guerra. Egli infatti ha inizialmente condiviso alcune istanze del pacifismo e poi ha assunto posizioni decisamente antimilitariste : affratellati dagli stessi ideali, i proletari dovevano ingaggiare una guerra diversa, quella contro lo sfruttamento e l’ingiustizia.Edmondo De Amicis fait partie des rares écrivains italiens qui prirent activement part aux différentes phases du Risorgimento et qui ont décrit les problèmes et les difficultés de la nouvelle nation. L’officier De Amicis a en effet vécu la défaite de Custoza et la joie d’entrer à Rome avec les troupes italiennes ; et de la même manière l’écrivain a raconté dans La vita militare les peines et les satisfactions des soldats. Ses réflexions sur les problèmes réels de la nation et sa rencontre avec les idées socialistes ont modifié au fil du temps les prises de position de l’homme et de l’écrivain vis-à-vis de la guerre. Il a en effet d’abord partagé certaines idées du pacifisme avant d’adopter des positions clairement antimilitaristes : unis par les mêmes idéaux, les prolétaires devaient mener une guerre différente, celle contre l’exploitation et l’injustice

Inter-ActiveHouse: users-driven building performances for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings in Mediterranean climates

Building simulations rely on fixed assumptions and mathematical models to describe a specific building scenario, overlooking the building occupants’ component. Almost 40% of in-home energy use is due occupants interacts with the building systems. The goal of this paper is to understand the magnitude of the performance gap when applied to two case studies in a Mediterranean climate. A set of scenarios are simulated assuming both a typical building usage and possible variations given by the users’ interactions with shading, ventilation and cooling systems. Results show that the magnitude of the effects with a negative impact is bigger if compared to actions that might have a positive influence, this means that simulated results with standard usage assumptions are not an average of the possible effects but they reflect an optimistic outcome given by the optimal equipment usage
