Nonintegrability of (2+1)-dimensional continuum isotropic Heisenberg spin system: Painlev\'e analysis
While many integrable spin systems are known to exist in (1+1) and (2+1)
dimensions, the integrability property of the physically important (2+1)
dimensional isotropic Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin system in the continuum
limit has not been investigated in the literature. In this paper, we show
through a careful singularity structure analysis of the underlying nonlinear
evolution equation that the system admits logarithmic type singular manifolds

Relative mass distributions of neutron-rich thermally fissile nuclei within statistical model
We study the fission yield of recently predicted thermally fissile
neutron-rich uranium and thorium nuclei using statistical model. The level
density parameters needed for the study are evaluated from the excitation
energies of temperature dependent relativistic mean field formalism. The
excitation energy and the level density parameter for a given temperature are
employed in the convolution integral method to obtain the probability of the
particular fragmentation. As representative case, we present the results for
the binary fission yield of 250 U and 254 Th. The relative yields are presented

Periodic and Localized Solutions of the Long Wave-Short Wave Resonance Interaction Equation
In this paper, we investigate the (2+1) dimensional long wave-short wave
resonance interaction (LSRI) equation and show that it possess the Painlev\'e
property. We then solve the LSRI equation using Painlev\'e truncation approach
through which we are able to construct solution in terms of three arbitrary
functions. Utilizing the arbitrary functions present in the solution, we have
generated a wide class of elliptic function periodic wave solutions and
exponentially localized solutions such as dromions, multidromions, instantons,
multi-instantons and bounded solitary wave solutions.Comment: 13 pages, 6 figure
Eco-friendly fishing methods and techniques practiced in the northern hills zone of Chhattisgarh state, India
Indian forests have the potential to safeguard the livelihood of forest dwelling people, particularly tribal people, who are among the most disadvantaged groups in our society. Tribal people generally depend on forests for their cultural, spiritual, and to varying degree of economic needs. Fishing is one of the important livelihood activities of the tribal community since the time immortal. Fishing provides the source of livelihood as well as nutritional security to the tribal family significantly. An explorative study was conducted in participatory mode to explore the eco-friendly fishing methods. Totally, 300 respondents were selected for this study. The data was documented with the help of participatory observation, focused group discussions with triangulation procedures. In the paper, eco-friendly fishing methods such as Kumani, Pahata, Mora, Donga, Pelna, Choppa, Mora, Gulel, Bhawarjal, Ditori, Beetaah, Chiwaar, Baahla and Jholna and their working procedures are discussed. Jholna used to catch small and medium sized fishes upto 5-7 kg/day. The production cost of this choppa is less than Rs. 250 and it is used to catch small sized fishes up to 1.5-2.5kg/day. Kumani is used to catch small sized fishes and crabs upto 1-2 kg/day. The making cost of Pelna is around Rs. 650 and it is used to catch fishes upto 6-7 kg/day. The construction cost of Pahata gear is around Rs. 2000 and It is used to catch medium to big sized fishes upto 8-10kg/day
An exploratory study on cultural and health significance of traditional tattooing practices among tribal community in Chhattisgarh state, India
This explorative study carried out from four districts of Chhattisgarh state namely Surajpur, Surguja, Balrampur and Jashpur. From each district, four villages were selected and from each village 25 tribal respondents were selected thus 300 respondents were selected for this study. About 65.33 percent of the tribal were between 36and 50 years of age group, more than one fourth (34.67%) of the farmers were educated up to primary school level, about half (49.00 %) of the respondents were at the income range of Rs. 25,001 to Rs. 75,000 and about 80% of the population of the state is rural and the main livelihood of the villagers is agriculture and agriculture-based small industry. Tattooing is one of the livelihood option for the tribal community in the study area. Tattooing has been practiced across the world since at least Neolithic times (7000 BCE), as confirmed by mummified preserved skin, prehistoric art, literatures, poetry, proverbs and the archaeological records. In Southern India, permanent tattoos are called pachakutharathu. In northern India, permanent tattoos are called Godna. Tattoos have been used as cultural symbols among many tribal populations, as well as the caste-based Hindu population of India. These tattoos have also been used as integral part of the tribal’s lifestyle Chhattisgarh state of India
A Survey on Data Mining Techniques for Prediction of Heart Diseases
International audienceHeart disease (HD) is a disease of the heart or blood vessels, which causes death. In recent scenario, health issues are huge, due to this nature predicting and classifying into different conditions are very tedious. The field of data mining has involved in those domains to predict and to classify the abnormality along with its risk level. The previous studies have used several features to diagnosis the disease, which has been collected from patients. By applying different data mining algorithms, the patient data can be used for diagnosis as training samples. The main drawbacks of the previous studies are that need accurate and more number of features. This paper surveys about the recent data mining techniques applied for predicting heart diseases
Virus-induced gene silencing database for phenomics and functional genomics in Nicotiana benthamiana
Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) is an important forward and reverse genetics method for the study of gene function in many plant species, especially Nicotiana benthamiana. However, despite the widespread use of VIGS, a searchable database compiling the phenotypes observed with this method is lacking. Such a database would allow researchers to know the phenotype associated with the silencing of a large number of individual genes without experimentation. We have developed a VIGS phenomics and functional genomics database (VPGD) that has DNA sequence information derived from over 4,000 N. benthamiana VIGS clones along with the associated silencing phenotype for approximately 1,300 genes. The VPGD has a built-in BLAST search feature that provides silencing phenotype information of specific genes. In addition, a keyword-based search function could be used to find a specific phenotype of interest with the corresponding gene, including its Gene Ontology descriptions. Query gene sequences from other plant species that have not been used for VIGS can also be searched for their homologs and silencing phenotype in N. benthamiana. VPGD is useful for identifying gene function not only in N. benthamiana but also in related Solanaceae plants such as tomato and potato. ANTIMICROBIAL AND ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF CYCAS CIRCINALIS.L AND IONIDIUM SUFFRUTICOSUM. GING
Herbs with antioxidants and antimicrobial activity play a vital role in prevention and cure of certain complex diseases. Cycas circinalis and Ionidium Suffruticosum are the herbs taken to study its antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. The ethanolic extract of the above 2 herbs were taken and the antimicrobial activity was studied by Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method and the antioxidant activity was analyzed by percentage inhibition of DPPH activity. Around 8 species of microorganisms were taken for antimicrobial assay. The Cycas circinalis showed 0.7mm of zone of inhibition for Staphylococcus aureus in culture whereas Ionidium Suffruticosum showed 1mm and 0.4 mm of zone of inhibition for Escherichia colli and Salmonella typhi respectively. The rest of all species were non-reactive for both the herbal extracts. The IC50 values of I.suffruticosum at various concentrations were 95.6, 96.0 and 97.6 respectively whereas for C.circinalis, it was 78.7, 85.9 and 87.5 respectively. The IC50 value of I.suffruticosum shows that the herb has more antioxidant property when compared to that of C.circinalis and standard (ascorbic acid). The study shows that I.suffruticosum and C.circinalis both have mild antimicrobial activity acting only on 2 species of bacteria and the rest were dormant. I.suffruticosum and C.circinalis both were found to have antioxidant activity. This is a preliminary study done on the above 2 herbs which is a part of vast ongoing research work
