Review of intrusion detection systems based on deep learning techniques: coherent taxonomy, challenges, motivations, recommendations, substantial analysis and future directions
This study reviews and analyses the research landscape for intrusion detection systems (IDSs) based on deep learning (DL)
techniques into a coherent taxonomy and identifies the gap in this pivotal research area. The focus is on articles related to
the keywords ‘deep learning’, ‘intrusion’ and ‘attack’ and their variations in four major databases, namely Web of Science,
ScienceDirect, Scopus and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Xplore. These databases are sufficiently
broad to cover the technical literature. The dataset comprises 68 articles. The largest proportion (72.06%; 49/68) relates to
articles that develop an approach for evaluating or identifying intrusion detection techniques using the DL approach. The
second largest proportion (22.06%; 15/68) relates to studying/applying articles to the DL area, IDSs or other related issues.
The third largest proportion (5.88%; 4/68) discusses frameworks/models for running or adopting IDSs. The basic characteristics
of this emerging field are identified from the aspects of motivations, open challenges that impede the technology’s
utility, authors’ recommendations and substantial analysis. Then, a result analysis mapping for new directions is
discussed. Three phases are designed to meet the demands of detecting distributed denial-of-service attacks with a high
accuracy rate. This study provides an extensive resource background for researchers who are interested in IDSs based on DL
SYNTHESIS, ANTIMICROBIAL EVALUATION, DENSITY FUNCTIONAL THEORY, AND DOCKING STUDIES OF SOME NEW 2-MERCAPTO PYRIMIDINE SCHIFF BASES
Objective: Pyrimidine derivatives are reported to possess antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, and anticonvulsant activities. Encouraged by this remarks, we decided to synthesize novel compounds of new 2-macraptopyrimidine linked to Schiffs̕ bases.
Methods: The present work involves the synthesis of new 2-mercaptopyrimidine linked to Schiffs̕ bases. The starting, 2-mercaptopyrimidine, compound (1) reacted with thiourea to afford the corresponding 1-(pyrimidin-2-yl) thiourea (2). Then compound (2) was used as the key intermediate to prepare the -1-(2-hydroxy benzylidene)-3-(pyrimidin-2-yl) thiourea (3), and (1-benzylidine)-3-(pyrimidin-2-yl) thiourea (4), through the reaction with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and benzaldehyde, respectively.
Results: All the synthesized compounds were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared and1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The synthesized derivatives were screened for their in vitro, antibacterial activity against two Gram-positive bacteria: Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus and four Gram-negative bacteria: Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi, and the results showed that most of them have good antibacterial activity. While their antifungal activity against three fungi species (Aspergillus fumigates, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus terrus and Rhizopus) revealed that compounds (2-4) displayed the most potent antifungal activity. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations for the synthesized 2-mercapto pyrimidine derivatives were conducted, using a molecular structure with optimized geometry. Highest occupied molecular orbital/lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energies and structures are demonstrated.
Conclusion: The antimicrobial activity indicates that compounds (3) and (4) are the most active than the compounds (1) and (2). Molecular docking revealed that compounds (3) and (4), with bulky phenyl groups are essential to blocking the active centers of glucose -6-phosphate synthase in the bacteria and fungi
The Effect of Drinking Tea to the Anemia Among Elderly in Bandung
The objective of this study is to know the effect of tea to anemia iron deficiency among elderly people. The study population is the elderly people in Bandung City. The sampling was 132 elderly that were selected randomly in Sub District of Cicendo year 2005. Method of measuring hemoglobin is the sianmethemoglobin and the drinking tea was measured by 1 x 24 hours food record for seven days. The data was analysis using multiple logistic regression. The results of this study shows that rate of anemia among elderly people in Bandung is 47,7% (95%CI = 39%—56%) and about half of the elderly (49%) drinking tea every day (95%CI = 40%—58%). The elderly who drink tea every day have risk for anemia 92 times higher compared than those who did not drink tea (ORadj = 91.8, 95% CI = 8—221) after controlled for protein intake. If the drinking tea habit among elderly could be changed, the anemia could be reduced by 85% i.e. from 47.7% become 7.3%. In order to decrease anemia, it’s suggested to reduce their drinking tea habit or increase their protein intake. However, due to lack of their teeth’s functioning and low of their economic status, reducing their drinking tea habit is the best choice to decrease anemia among elderly. 
Differences in Complication Rates of Gluteoplasty Procedures That Utilize Autologous Fat Grafting, Implants, or Local Flaps.
BACKGROUND:Gluteoplasty (gluteal augmentation) procedures are increasing in popularity, but there is not a universally accepted technique to produce optimal outcomes while minimizing risk. In this systematic review, we perform a meta-analysis to evaluate rates of complication from autologous fat grafting, implants, and local flaps, which are the three most common gluteoplasty operations. METHODS:A search of the PubMed/MEDLINE database for articles including the terms "gluteoplasty" OR "gluteal augmentation" OR "buttock augmentation" OR "Brazilian butt lift" OR "gluteal autologous fat graft" OR "buttock autologous fat graft" OR "gluteal implant" OR "buttock implant" OR "gluteal flap" OR "buttock flap" generated 229 articles. This number was brought down to 134 after initial screening by title. Inclusion criteria then removed those not written in English, those without access to the full text, those without extractable data on complications, and duplicates, leaving 46 articles to examine. RESULTS:A total of 4362 patients who underwent gluteoplasty between 1992 and 2017 were found. The overall complication rate was 12.4%. Implants had the highest rate (31.4%), whereas fat grafting had the lowest (6.8%); flaps were intermediate (23.1%). A χ test yielded a statistically significant (P < 0.001) nonindependent relationship between combined complication rate and type of surgery. Individual complications, such as asymmetry, capsular contracture, fat embolism, hematoma, infection, necrosis, pain, seroma, wide scar formation, and wound dehiscence, were also analyzed. CONCLUSIONS:Fat grafting by plastic surgeons might be the best option for gluteoplasty with regard to complications. In certain cases, however, there may only exist one choice for an operation because of anatomical limitations, which predisposes patients to those associated complications
