The result of this research shows that the buyer charactheristics and seller is effect on land price. From the supply side (seller) of the land and the demand side (buyer) of the land is create a behaviorin land market in autonomous region of North Sulawesi. The land price is significantly effect on land future price expactation. Topography of the land has effect on land price on both sides. Land distance or acces has effect on land price on both sides. Richness is the only one variable that effect on land price expactation on both sides. The crop has no significant effect on both sides. Education and earning has no effect significantly on land price expectation

Whose language is it anyway? Students’ sense of belonging and role of English for Higher Education in the multilingual, South African context

The current decolonial commitments in Higher Education necessitate a need to deepen our understanding of the relationship between English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) and students’ sense of belonging, their identity, and epistemological access. This article investigates how EMI influences students’ personal and academic identities as well as their sense of belonging to the higher education space. Using student focus groups, this study is exploratory in nature and informed by the voices of undergraduate and postgraduate Humanities students at a South African university in the Free State. The responses were mixed, but there was general consensus that although English does have a place in higher education and can contribute to their sense of belonging, it also has an adverse effect on their identity; the use of indigenous languages provides them with greater epistemological access. A differentiated approach to multilingualism is a possible way forward

URGENSI ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION BAGI MAHASISWA PERGURUAN TINGGI

ABSTRAK  Entrepreneur Education sangat penting dilaksanakan di Perguruan Tinggi. Karena keterbatasan Lapangan pekerjaan yang ada sangat diharapkan untuk para Lulusan perguruan Tinggi tidak memiliki mindset  “ Job Seeker” tetapi “ Job Creator”. Melalui Artikel ini dengan kajian berbagai Literatur dari beberapa penelitian tentang pentingnya Pendidikan kewirausahaan di Perguruan Tinggi, diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi wawasan dan pemikiran atas pentingnya Pendidikan Kewirausahaan di Perguruan Tinggi untuk menciptakan mahasiswa dan Alumni yang memiliki karakter, mental Wirausahawan yang Tangguh sehingga mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan .   ABSTRACT Entrepreneur Education is very important to be implemented in Higher Education. However, the limitations of the existing job fields are highly expected for college graduates to not only have a "Job Seeker" mindset but "Job Creator". Through this article with a study of various literatures from several studies on the importance of entrepreneurship education in universities, it is hoped that it can contribute insights and thoughts on the importance of entrepreneurship education in universities to create students and alumni who have strong entrepreneurial character and mentality so that they are able to create jobs.

KAJIAN PENDEKATAN FENOMENOLOGI: LITERATURE REVIEW

ABSTRAK Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penelitian studi fenomenologi pada perilaku dan nilai-nilai kepercayaan transendental yang terdapat didalam kehidupan masyarakat yang tidak dapat diukur dengan angka atau data statistik, esensi yang terdapat dalam kehidupan masyarakat berupa suatu pemahaman yang dirasakan ketika sudah menyatu dalam pemikiran mereka. Berdasarkan penelitian studi fenomenologi, “keunikan dari perilaku pedagang pasar tradisional terkait perilaku survivalnya†di Kota Manado. Temuan banyak pedagang di pasar tradisional tetap bertahan dengan profesinya, bahkan sampai puluhan tahun, walaupun pendapatan dari profesi mereka juga terkadang hanya cukup untuk kebutuhan hidup mereka sehari-hari, tetapi mereka tetap bertahan untuk berdagang di pasar tradisional tersebut. Karena ketika mereka menjalankan aktivitas berdagang, para pedagang biasanya saling berkomunikasi dengan pedagang-pedagang lainnya sambil duduk santai menunggu pembeli. Mereka saling tukar informasi dikalangan pedagang. Begitu juga dengan penelitian Kepercayaan Merapu di desa Sumba terdapat sebuah desa yang mengalami kekeringan, lokasi desa tersebut jauh dari terisolasi dari keterjangkauan jasa pelayanan kesehatan dan pemerintah, bagi orang yang melihat secara rasionalitas akan berpikir mengapa tetap bertahan, padahal desa tersebut tidak memberikan kesejahteraan bagi penduduk yang tinggal didalamnya yang memiliki kepercayaan merapu, bahwa mereka bertahan didesa itu dikarenakan desa tersebut memiliki keistimewaan tersendiri dari leluhur terdahulu mereka. Kata Kunci: Kualitatif, fenomenology ABSTRACK This writing aims to examine phenomenological studies on the behavior and values of transcendental beliefs contained in people's lives that cannot be measured by numbers or statistical data, the essence of which is in people's lives in the form of an understanding that is felt when it is integrated in their thinking. Based on a phenomenological study, "the uniqueness of the behavior of traditional market traders is related to their survival behavior" in Manado City. The findings of many traders in traditional markets remain with their profession, even for decades, even though the income from their profession is sometimes only sufficient for their daily needs, but they still survive to trade in these traditional markets. Because when they carry out trading activities, traders usually communicate with other traders while sitting relaxed waiting for buyers. They exchange information among traders. Like wise with merapu belief research in Sumba village, there is a village that is experiencing drought, the location of the village is far from isolated from the affordability of health and government services, for people who see rationality they will think why they persist, even though the village does not provide welfare for the residents who live in it who have a rapturous belief, that they survive in the village because the village has its own specialties from their previous ancestors. Keywords: Qualitative, phenomenolog

An Audit of the Use of Regional Anaesthesia for Caesarean Section in the Free State: from 2002 to 2004

Regional anaesthesia (RA) is associated with a lower mortality than general anaesthesia (GA) for obstetric anaesthesia. Accordingly, the Saving Mothers Report 1999-2001 proposed that 75% of Caesarean section (CS) should be performed under RA.2 An initial audit found that in the Free State, 71% of CS’s were performed under RA in 2002.
