PT Jamu Jago was established in 1918 and today is one of the famous herbal company in Indonesia. To make a herbal medicine, a company need a machine, one of which is a sifter machine. This machine is used to filter herbal medicine which will produce a very finely powdered herbs. Machine 3 on sifter machine has a fairly high USAge frequency and having a high enough frequency of breakdown. Policy of maintenance that used by PT Jamu Jago is corrective maintenance. The result shows that the total of 8 months costs that PT Jamu Jago should pay with lifetime of part for 5 month is Rp 753,530.47 which is cheaper than the cost of corrective maintenance within 8 months is Rp 4,975,488. Preventive maintenance policy is a policy with low maintenance cost than corrective maintenance

Understanding insect parasitoids life history behaviour for optimal utilization in biological control of tropical injurious pest - a review

Parasitoids are a key component of most terrestrial ecosystems due to their numbers and ecological significance due to he nature of their life cycle which partly depend on other insects for their survival. They are vitally important for the maintenance of biodiversity being involved in a vast number of trophic interactions including regulatory effect on insect pest populations. There are four insect orders that are particularly prominent for this type of life history. These are Hymenoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera and Neuroptera. The greatest number is found in the order Hymenoptera, which account for nearly 75% of the estimated number of parasitoid species. There are considerable variations in parasitism of insect parasitoids. These may be I diobionts, whose hosts stop development, when they are parasitized and Koinobionts which allow the hosts to continue their development until the parasitoid’s offspring matures. Reports have shown that species richness of koinobionts parasitoids tends to decrease toward the tropics while idiobionts richness does it less severely. Such pattern was howeve intrinsically related to the host feeding niche. In hymenopteran parasitoid complexes however the richness of both idiobionts and koinobionts falls toward the tropics in exophytic hosts, while on endophytic hosts, there are no changes in species richness for both types of parasitoids. Biological control is the central stone of integrated pest management (IPM) paradigm and natural enemies are becoming an increasingly desirable prospect in lieu of chemical insecticides. Although hymenopteran parasitoids are widely used in the control of insect pest due to their Diversity and species richness, Coleopterans parasitoids could be useful in suppressing pest due to the pattern of their parasitism. Host selection strategies of insect parasitoids are largely influenced by chemical signals from plants attacked by insect pest. Their competitive fitness and reproductive success will therefore depend extensively on the ability to employ such signals more efficiently.Keywords: Behaviour, Biological control, Diversity, Insect parasitoids, Plant metabolite

On the nucleon-nucleon interaction leading to a standing wave instability in symmetric nuclear matter

We examine a recently proposed nucleon-nucleon interaction, claimed by its authors both realistic and leading to a standing wave instability in symmetric nuclear matter. Contrary to these claims, we find that this interaction leads to a serious overbinding of 4He, 16O and 40Ca nuclei when the Hartree-Fock method is properly applied. The resulting nuclear densities contradict the experimental data and all realistic Hartree-Fock results.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figur

Namun jika ponsel dijadikan sebagai kunci elektrik yang menerapkan access control tentunya semua anak kunci tersebut tidak dibutuhkan lagi, cukup dengan satu ponsel dapat membuka banyak kunci

Deformation Projected RMF Calculation for Cr and Fe nuclei in Hybrid Derivative Coupling Model

The ground state properties of even mass Cr and Fe isotopes are studied using the generalized hybrid derivative coupling model. The energy surface of each isotope is plotted as a function of the mass quadrupole moment. The neutron numbers N=20 and N=40 are seen to remain magic numbers but N= 28 and 50 are predicted to be non-magic. The neutron number N=70 turns out to be a magic number according to the present calculation. In all the isotopes studied the calculated binding energy values are less than those obtained from experiment while the deformation is in better agreement.Comment: To appear in Int. Jour. Mod. Phys.

Kajian Kerentanan Fisik, Sosial, dan Ekonomi Pesisir Samas Kabupaten Bantul terhadap Erosi Pantai

Pesisir Samas merupakan salah satu objek pariwisata yang memiliki infrastruktur yang rentan terancam keberlanjutan perkembangannya jika erosi pantai tidak segera diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat kerentanan dan mengkaji kapasitas masyarakat dalam menghadapi erosi pantai di Daerah Kepesisiran Samas. Penilaian kerentanan wilayah dilakukan dengan metode SMCE dan penilaian kerentanan di tingkat rumah tangga dilakukan dengan metode pengharkatan. Penilaian tingkat kapasitas masyarakat dilakukan menggunakan metode skoring hasil wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penilaian kerentanan wilayah menunjukkan bahwa pada ketiga skenario yaitu skenario fisik, sosial ekonomi, dan equal memiliki nilai yang sama yang menunjukkan bahwa Desa Srigading memiliki nilai kerentanan yang lebih tinggi daripada Desa Gadingsari. Hasil penilaian kerentanan rumah tangga pada parameter fisik, sosial, dan ekonomi secara berurutan menunjukkan 50%, 8,93%, dan 46,43% rumah tangga memiliki tingkat kerentanan tinggi. Hasil penilaian kapasitas masyarakat menunjukkan penduduk di Daerah Kepesisiran Samas memiliki tingkat kapasitas yang tergolong sedang

How good are the Garvey-Kelson predictions of nuclear masses?

The Garvey-Kelson relations are used in an iterative process to predict nuclear masses in the neighborhood of nuclei with measured masses. Average errors in the predicted masses for the first three iteration shells are smaller than those obtained with the best nuclear mass models. Their quality is comparable with the Audi-Wapstra extrapolations, offering a simple and reproducible procedure for short range mass predictions. A systematic study of the way the error grows as a function of the iteration and the distance to the known masses region, shows that a correlation exists between the error and the residual neutron-proton interaction, produced mainly by the implicit assumption that $V_{np}$ varies smoothly along the nuclear landscape.Comment: 10 pages, 18 figure

Work performance is a very desirable outcome, either by employees or the workers themselves and the company. Compensation and Motivation has been found to increase employee performance. Therefore, two things need to be considered by the company in order to improve work performance. PT. Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta Pusat Semarang is one of the banks engaged in microfinance and has a new policy is to recruit staff on a large scale, but have not been able to realize the given target. The purpose of this reseacrh are: (a) To find there is an effect of compensation to work performance at PT. Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta. (b) To find there is an effect of motivation to work performance at PT. Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta. (c) To find there is an effect of compensation and motivation to work performance at PT. Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta. This research type is explanatory research to the 39 respondents to the census approach. Data collection techniques in this study using interview techniques, by means of questionnaires and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using analytical tools such as cross tables, test validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the t test and F test. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive effect between compensation and motivation of the employees\u27 performance of PT Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta kantor Pusat Semarang. The higher compensation and motivation of the employees\u27 work performance will increase, and vice versa. Suggestions for increasing employees\u27 work performance for the company to increase its attention to compensation and motivation that will ultimately improve the work performance of employees

Q_EC values of the Superallowed beta-Emitters 10-C, 34-Ar, 38-Ca and 46-V

The Q_EC values of the superallowed beta+ emitters 10-C, 34-Ar, 38-Ca and 46-V have been measured with a Penning-trap mass spectrometer to be 3648.12(8), 6061.83(8), 6612.12(7) and 7052.44(10) keV, respectively.
