    Employee who has a big commitment to the company will increase the productivity and goal achievement of the company itself. This research is aimed to know the influence of organizational culture toward affective commitment, continuity commitment, and normative commitment in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XIV. The subject of this research are 84 employees that chosen by Cluster Sampling Technique. This research used Simple Regressive Linear Test. The research result showed that there was positive influence of organizational culture toward affective commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0,269), there was no negative influence of organizational culture toward continuity commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0,168), and there was any positive influence of organizational culture toward normative commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0241).     Passion Barista dan Strategi Mengelola Emosi

    Ketidakmampuan barista dalam mengelola emosi ketika berinteraksi dengan konsumen akan memberikan gambaran yang buruk mengenai kualitas pelayanan di coffee shop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan passion dengan emotional labor pada profesi barista di Kota Makassar. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 63 orang yang bekerja sebagai barista pada coffee shop. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan skala emotional labor dan skala passion. Hasil uji hipotesis yang menggunakan Cramer’s V. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara passion dengan emotional labor barista di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa barista yang memiliki harmonious passion maupun obsessive passion dapat melakukan kedua strategi manajemen emosi, yaitu surface acting dan deep acting.     Running' With the Devil: A Study on Athletes' Compensation and Turnover Intention

    Background. Athletes’ performance in sporting events is influenced by several factors. One of them is how fair the compensation system is implemented. The proper compensation will motivate the athlete to perform better. Otherwise, it will be a loss for the team. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on the sports achievements of South Sulawesi athletes at PON XIX 2016 in West Java, Indonesia. Methods. This research employed a qualitative stance with semi-structured interviews with 100 athletes as respondents who participated in the PON XIX 2016 event. Results. This paper’s findings suggest that there are several major themes that emerged in regard to this particular topic, they are 1) unfair treatment; 2) cognitive dissonance, and 3) turnover intention. Conclusion. To conclude, this study was strengthening the importance of the proper compensation system implementation in order to have such effective talent management within an organization. This research brings theoretical and practical implications. For theoretical implications, this research fills the gaps in the present research. Moreover, for practical implications, it is expected that the decision-makers in sports committees or sports organizations should be able to maintain their athletes by providing them fair compensation

    HUBUNGAN ANTARA FLOW DAN KINERJA KARYAWAN KANTOR PUSAT PT. PELINDO IV (PERSERO) MAKASSAR Iwan Prasetio Muh. Jufri Asmulyani Asri Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Makassar Jl. A. P. Pettarani, Makassar, 90222 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara flow dan kinerja karyawan Kantor Pusat PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang telah lebih dari satu tahun bekerja di kantor pusat PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar dan berada pada kelas jabatan 10 sampai 16, yaitu sebanyak 149 orang karyawan. Teknik sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 63 orang karyawan. Flow dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan The Work-Related Flow Inventory (WOLF) dan data kinerja karyawan diperoleh dari hasil Penilaian Kinerja Pegawai (PKP) terakhir yang telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi Spearman dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa besarnya kekuatan hubungan antar variabel adalah r = 0,280, dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,013 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara flow dan kinerja karyawan kantor pusat PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin sering frekuensi flow yang dirasakan maka semakin optimal kinerja karyawan Kantor Pusat PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut, maka karyawan yang ingin menjaga kinerjanya agar tetap optimal harus mengembangkan kehidupan kerja yang positif dengan sering merasakan flow, yaitu dengan fokus terhadap aktivitas saat bekerja, menikmati setiap aktivitas pekerjaan agar tetap bersemangat, serta menimbulkan motivasi intrinsik atas pekerjaan agar mencapai kepuasan kerja yang melekat.     Pengembangan Alat Ukur Inventori Minat Berbasis Spherical Model Of Interest

    Interest assessment is required to help people explore their interests and liking, especially for people who find it difficult to determine their interest in particular things. Interest assessment is crucial for career exploration. This study aims to develop an inventory for interest assessment based on the Spherical Model of Interest. This study begins with a qualitative process, namely peer review and content validity, that involve five experts. There were 535 participants in this study, consisting of between 16 – 23 years. Quantitative analysis in this study using the JASP program. This study showed that the inventory has excellent and acceptable psychometric properties. The discrimination index of this inventory showed 0,420 – 0,842, the Goodness of fit criteria showed that CFI, TLI, GFI, and RMSEA with good and acceptable. This inventory has a good reliability coefficient of 0,778 – 0,907. This inventory has acceptable psychometric properties to use as an interest assessment tool
