    This study aims to describe learning outcomes through the application of PAKEM learning model. The subjects of the study were the students of grade IVb SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari. Improvement of learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely the ability to absorb, the effectiveness of learning, mastery of student learning both mastery of individual and classical completeness and mastery of learning outcomes. Instruments used for data collection are oral tests and written tests in the form of LKS conducted after the learning process. The results showed that the percentage of student completeness increased from 19.40% to 55.40% categorized well, the effectiveness of learning is categorized very effective with an average of 88.46%. While the completeness of student learning outcomes expressed. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of PAKEM learning model can improve learning outcomes on the material of the students of class IV B grade SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari

    Service career information by the guidance counselor at the school is very important that the students receive, understand, and evaluate the information and experiences, and make decisions with a clear career direction as the education she lived now with continuing education. For that hopes to make students to the fulfillment of the service information especially related to choosing a job or position, or the planning of education in accordance with capabilities. The researchers wanted to examine the career information services by a tutor in class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. The problem in this research is "How Information Services Career By Master Supervisor at Junior High School 21 Pontianak?". This study aimed to obtain and objective information about the performance, materials, methods, and media information services careers by the supervising teacher at Junior High School 21, Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive method with survey forms Study. The sample was 70 students .. The results of data analysis showed that career information services by the supervising teacher at Junior High School 21 Pontianak reached 46.26% in the category range Average ratings. This shows that the tutor is not maximized provide career information services to students. It is expected that a tutor can provide an analysis of the needs of students regarding guidance and counseling services especially in the field of career in order to understand the importance of early career information service

    Studi Optimasi Pola Operasi Irigasi Di Daerah Irigasi Lambunu Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah

    Lambunu Irrigation Area is administratively part of ParigiMoutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This irrigation area is supplied by Lambunu River through its intake in Lambunu Weir and the irrigation water is supplied gravitationally. In the year 2014, planting pattern used in the area was paddy-paddy with 3,825 ha and 3,645 ha for planting schedule I and II, respectively. Ir- rigation operational pattern in Lambunu varied due to the development in irrigation system, the decrease of function of irrigation structures, the change of cropping pattern, and the fluctuation of irrigation water availability. Today, Lambunu Irrigation Area captures 5,041 ha of potential areas. Due to the changes in irrigation system and water availability, it is necessary to do some optimiza- tion in irrigation operational patern in Lambunu in order to find optimum planting area and opti- mum farming production. Of some alternatives irrigation operational patterns, carried out based on grouped and rotation system for paddy-paddy-secondary crops, the most optimum irrigation operational patterns has been found. It is irrigation operational patterns with ungrouped system and three planting schedules as follows: - Paddy I is in December I to March II - Paddy II is in April I to July II - Secondary crops in August I to November II Crop intensity for paddy and secondary crops in the area is 200% and 23%-28%, respectively. Grouped system will give the same result. However, it will reduce the maximum discharge of irrigation water demand

    Customer Awareness and Behavior Intention Towards the Use of Halal Logo on Restaurants

    The trend of eating out leads the food service industry to the needs of managing customers and making sure that all their needs and preferences can be fulfilled. The certification and recognition of establishment also becomes the in thing in hospitality industry, which includes the certification of halal, HACCP, and ISO. Establishment with certification is useful as a marketing strategy to attract more customers. This study discusses the level of customer awareness of towards the halal logo used in some restaurants which is carried out to give evidence to restaurant operators regarding the importance of attaching the genuine halal logo in their restaurant. From the findings, it is showed that customers are do aware of the use of halal logo on restaurants. It is also a factor in choosing a restaurant. It is concluded that halal logo is one of the main factors for customers in choosing restaurants which in return can be a main strategy to attract and retain more customers in the future, not only for the local customer but also to foreigners

    Internet of Things based Heart Rate Monitoring and Alert System

    Heart rate analysis provides vital information of the present condition of the human body and become one of the important indicators of health. Manual monitoring method no longer efficient since requires physical access from the medical staff. Thus, a system that provides a real-time monitoring and alert is needed. In this paper, we develop a heart rate alert system that is usable for medical officer and patients. The system measures the variation of the tissue blood flow rate by means of a photo transmitter and detector through fingertip known as photoplethysmography (PPG). The detected signal is passed through active low pass filter and then amplified by a two stages high gain amplifier. The amplified signal is feed into the microcontroller to process the heart rate. Then, the heart rate reading is transferred to a running web server for dashboard views for monitoring. For alerting medical officer, the system able to trigger and send a notification message through Telegram platform in the occurrences of abnormal heart rate reading. Mean of reading differences and response time testing were carried out for the performance testing of the system. Overall, the system is capable in providing an alternative method for the medical staff to monitor and get alert about the heart rate of the patients. This system can be deployed in hospitals or used by heart disease patients to monitor their heart rate condition from time to time

    Abstract Sexed spermatozoa could contribute to increasing profitability of the dairy and beef industries worldwide by producing offspring of predetermined sex. Various methods have been designed to separate sperm population into X-and Y-chromosome bearing spermatozoa. In this study, the caprine semen sample from Savanna (n=2) and Boer (n=4) breeds were sex-separated using free flow electrophoresis. In order to determine the efficiency of sex-separation procedure, a rapid and accurate technique real time PCR (qPCR) was used to validate the X-and Y-chromosome bearing spermatozoa following separation. The primers and probes were developed to detect the X-and Y-chromosome bearing spermatozoa of Capra hircus based on ZFX and SRY genes, respectively, using TaqMan qPCR assay. The amplification of ZFX and SRY genes produced a single fragment of 93 bp and 137 bp, respectively. The primers used in separated spermatozoa by free-flow electrophoresis technique showed that the mean ratio of X-and Y-chromosomes bearing spermatozoa from the cathodic and anodic fractions were 36:64 and 44:56, respectively, compared to unseparated semen was 51:49. Thus, these primers can be used to validate the gene copy of X-and Y-chromosome bearing spermatozoa in caprine semen

    The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze, explain the essence and orientation of regional-based tourism development as a leading sustainable sector. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that as one of the leading sectors in the Sinjai area is tourism, considering that the tourism potential in Sinjai is quite potential seen from three aspects, namely: 1) natural tourism potential consisting of 35 natural attractions scattered from each district, 2) historical potential and regional culture consisting of 71 tourist destinations, 3) man-made tourism potential and special interest. Tourism in Sinjai has taken a toll on the Co-19 pandemic so that the impact is quite concerning for the local government and local communities. Is there still the government's support and interest in developing the tourism sector, which is a challenge in its sustainability. It takes creativity, innovation and breakthroughs by the government in absorbing various changes and technological advances for future life

    Analytical Framework for End-to-End Delay Based on Unidirectional Highway Scenario

    In a sparse vehicular ad hoc network, a vehicle normally employs a carry and forward approach, where it holds the message it wants to transmit until the vehicle meets other vehicles or roadside units. A number of analyses in the literature have been done to investigate the time delay when packets are being carried by vehicles on both unidirectional and bidirectional highways. However, these analyses are focusing on the delay between either two disconnected vehicles or two disconnected vehicle clusters. Furthermore, majority of the analyses only concentrate on the expected value of the end-to-end delay when the carry and forward approach is used. Using regression analysis, we establish the distribution model for the time delay between two disconnected vehicle clusters as an exponential distribution. Consequently, a distribution is newly derived to represent the number of clusters on a highway using a vehicular traffic model. From there, we are able to formulate end-to-end delay model which extends the time delay model for two disconnected vehicle clusters to multiple disconnected clusters on a unidirectional highway. The analytical results obtained from the analytical model are then validated through simulation results
