    This study was designed to determine the technical and economic efficiency levels of the commercial basal feeds enriched with 10%, 5% and 0% rates of LNA (LNA10, LNA5 and LNA0) on the growth performance of brown trout by analyzing the marginal factor cost (MFC) and the marginal revenue of physical product (MRPP). A total of 300 brown trout with an initial individual weight of 4±0.05 g were randomly divided in 12 cages (25 fingerlings in each cage), and kept under 24L:0D (light/dark) photoperiod condition for 9 weeks treated by LNA10, LNA5 and LNA0. The results of the study showed that LNA0 and LNA10 of the effective feed sources, respectively on the growth performance of brown trout were more suitable to produce as the homogeneous products for the consumers and differentiated those for the drug industry in view of the economic and technical efficiencies

    A Note on Doubly Warped Product Contact CR-Submanifolds in trans-Sasakian Manifolds

    Warped product CR-submanifolds in Kaehlerian manifolds were intensively studied only since 2001 after the impulse given by B.Y. Chen. Immediately after, another line of research, similar to that concerning Sasakian geometry as the odd dimensional version of Kaehlerian geometry, was developed, namely warped product contact CR-submanifolds in Sasakian manifolds. In this note we proved that there exists no proper doubly warped product contact CR-submanifolds in trans-Sasakian manifolds.Comment: 5 Latex page

    Temperature dependent negative capacitance behavior in (Ni/Au)/AlGaN/AIN/GaN heterostructures

    Cataloged from PDF version of article.The temperature dependent capacitance voltage (C-V) and conductance voltage (G/omega-V) characteristics of (Ni/Au)/Al(0.22)Ga(0.78)N/AlN/GaN heterostructures were investigated by considering the series resistance (R(s)) effect in the temperature range of 80-390 K. The experimental results show that the values of C and G/omega are strongly functioning of temperature and bias voltage. The values of C cross at a certain forward bias voltage point (similar to 2.8 V) and then change to negative values for each temperature, which is known as negative capacitance (NC) behavior. In order to explain the NC behavior, we drawn the C vs I and G/omega vs I plots for various temperatures at the same bias voltage. The negativity of the C decreases with increasing temperature at the forward bias voltage, and this decrement in the NC corresponds to the increment of the conductance. When the temperature was increased, the value of C decreased and the intersection point shifted towards the zero bias direction. This behavior of the C and G/omega values can be attributed to an increase in the polarization and the introduction of more carriers in the structure. R(s) values increase with increasing temperature. Such temperature dependence is in obvious disagreement with the negative temperature coefficient of R or G reported in the literature. The intersection behavior of C-V curves and the increase in R(s) with temperature can be explained by the lack of free charge carriers, especially at low temperatures. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V.     Frequency and temperature dependence of the dielectric and AC electrical conductivity in (Ni/Au)/AlGaN/AIN/GaN heterostructures

    Cataloged from PDF version of article.The dielectric properties and AC electrical conductivity (sigma(ac))of the (Ni/Au)/Al(0.22)Ga(0.78)N/AlN/GaN heterostructures, with and without the SiN(x) passivation, have been investigated by capacitance-voltage and conductance-voltage measurements in the wide frequency (5kHz-5 MHz) and temperature (80-400 K) range. The experimental values of the dielectric constant (epsilon'), dielectric loss (epsilon ''), loss tangent (tan delta), sigma(ac) and the real and imaginary part of the electric modulus (M' and M '') were found to be a strong function of frequency and temperature. A decrease in the values of epsilon' and epsilon '' was observed, in which they both showed an increase in frequency and temperature. The values of M' and M '' increase with increasing frequency and temperature. The sigma(ac) increases with increasing frequency, while it decreases with increasing temperature. It can be concluded, therefore, that the interfacial polarization can occur more easily at low frequencies and temperatures with the number of interface states density located at the metal/semiconductor interface.     Controlled modulation of 1D ZnO nano/micro structures: Evaluation of the various effects on the photocatalytic activity

    Effects of the concentration, temperature and precursor type on the fabrication of the elongated ZnO nano/micro structures were comprehensively investigated. Analytical investigations such as SEM and statistical analysis of the elongated ZnO nano/micro structures provided wide information about the growth behavior and final geometries. Different temperatures for the 1 D ZnO formation clearly revealed that hexagonally grown ZnO nanorods were obtained. Especially low crystal diffraction characteristics at low temperature (55 °C) implied that ZnO nano/micro rod formation requires some minimum conditions for the formation of an efficient photocatalyst. All XRD investigations together with SEM and TEM supported the ligand ordered elongation conducted by diverse beginning concentrations. Since temperature found as a highly dominant actor for morphology and surface sequence as manifested in crystallinity, morphology and photocatalytic results, we have systematically summarized the growth conditions of the ZnO nano/micro rods from same precursor. © 2017 Elsevier Lt

    Climate change, consumer lifestyles and legitimation strategies of sustainability-oriented firms

    This study explores the links between climate change, consumer lifestyles, and legitimation strategies of sustainable firms. Our findings offer new insight into this under-researched area based on qualitative case studies of four Nordic firms operating in industrial and consumer contexts. We find that climate change consciousness is a major driver for all case firms’ sustainability-focused operations, but the dynamics differed. Achieving sociopolitical legitimacy emerges as an important factor for the case firms operating in the energy sector, especially as it connects to government incentives and regulative pressures. However, cognitive legitimacy is increasingly important for them also, and the firms are trying to connect to their consumers’ lifestyles as well. In turn, for the case firms operating in the consumer (clothing) industry, functionality and the use of products are highlighted even though cognitive legitimacy based on linking to their consumers’ lifestyle is visible. Finally, the findings reveal that despite the sustainable lifestyles are increasingly important and better recognized in firm strategies and practices, other practicalities of running the business successfully in a highly competitive marketplace are relevant. Building legitimacy in such a way that captures and justifies different approaches, therefore, emerges as the connecting factor between the changing consumer behavior and pro-environmental firm practices.publishedVersio

    Propiedades antioxidantes de algunas plantas que crecen salvajes en Turquía

    In this study, the antioxidant activity of 50% aqueous methanol extracts of 38 plants growing in the Afyonkarahisar province of Turkey were evaluated by various antioxidant assay, including free radical scavenging, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) scavenging and metal (Fe2+) chelating activities. The methanolic fruit extracts of the Cornus and Morus species (H2O2 and DPPH scavenging activities, Fe2+ chelating activity) and the methanolic leaf extracts of the Mentha species (DPPH scavenging activities) examined in the assay showed the strongest activities. These antioxidant properties depended on the concentration of samples.En este estudio, la actividad antioxidante de extractos metanólicos al 50% en agua de 38 plantas que crecen en la provincia turca de Afyonkarahisar fueron evaluados con algunos ensayos antioxidantes, incluyendo la actividad capta-dora de radicales libres y de peróxido de oxígeno (H2O2) y la actividad quelatante de metales (Fe2+). Los extractos metanólicos de frutas de las especies Cornus y Morus (actividades captadoras de H2O2 y DPPH y actividad quelatante de Fe2+) y los extractos metanólicos de hojas de especies de Mentha (actividad captadora de DPPH) son los que mostraron una actividad mayor.
