    TRAINING ON MAKING NOODLE CRACKERS TO IMPROVE PRODUCT CAPACITY IN WANGUNREJA VILLAGE SUKABUMI

    Noodle Crackers (Ranggining) is one of the foods that are typical souvenirs from the city of Sukabumi which is still very traditionally produced by several mothers in Wangunreja Village, Nyalindung District, Sukabumi Regency. These crackers are only sold when there is demand coming in, they never market the noodle crackers to a souvenir shop because of the very low production capacity. The process of printing crackers is also done by a very heavy force, so the craftsman must use the foot as a pedestal to press the dough. The purpose of this community service activity is to produce a noodle cracker mould that can help simplify the process of printing noodle crackers. From this design activity, a cracker printer has been produced. From the results of the implementation of printing time for a tube volume of 839 cm3 or 0.839 litres carried out with 32 seconds while the previous pressing process with the same amount of dough takes 92 seconds. This means that using a new printer can increase efficiency by 60 seconds or 65.22%

    Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) is a place and/or open space that combines the activities and activities of citizens by implementing 10 (ten) Principal Empowerment and Family Welfare programs to integrate with the Child-Friendly Cities program. One of the goals of the establishment of the RPTRA is to improve the infrastructure and facilities for citizens' social activities including the development of the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres that work to increase family income. Therefore, the importance of this activity is to help the community in improving skills so as to be able to open business opportunities, especially in the manufacture of handicrafts with the Silicon Moulding method. So that this activity can take place and produce maximum benefits, we start by providing training on the application of science and technology, where the activity is to provide skills training on making handicrafts using the Silicon Moulding method. The target audience of the community service program activities that will be held are the ladies and youth cadets with a total of 15 people. The training activities are carried out in one (1) day, housed in the secretariat of the RPTRA of Meruya Selatan Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta. The workshop activities will be held on February 8, 2019, starting at 08.00 - 12.30 WIB. Overall the participants stated that the workshop was interesting, that many 'new' things were learned and learned during the activity. The training material is very useful in ‘sending’ participants to further enhance skills and open business opportunities

    Health drinks made from spices or known as Jamu, can increase stamina to maintain a healthy body. One of the herbal medicine makers in the Tanjung Duren area is Mrs. Sri Lestari Rahayu, she was active in making herbal medicine during the pandemic. The herbal medicine business that was initiated during Covid 19 is increasing demand from consumers day by day, but not all of these requests can be fulfilled because the processing process is still done manually, especially in the process of cutting raw materials for spices. Based on this, community service activities are carried out. This activity is carried out by providing training on the use of cutting machines and slicing machines. The spice ingredients consist of ginger, lemongrass, turmeric and lemon, each weighing 1 kg. shavings are carried out using a shaved machine with an electric motor drive. After the shaving process, the pulp is separated from the herbal extract using a slicing machine. From the results of the shaving process, it was obtained that the processing time was faster (15 minutes) than before (120 minutes). The results of the spice shavings are very fine. The amount of spices produced can be increased so that consumer demand can be met

    STUDY PERBANDING BIAYA PEMESINAN PADA PROSES DRILLING MENGGUNAKAN PAHAT HSS DAN KARBIDA

    Pada proses pembuatan suatu produk, terdapat  beberapa hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan, seperti perhitungan waktu pemesinan, umur pahat serta biaya produksi.  Waktu pemesinan memberi pengaruh terhadap perhitungan biaya pemesinan.Perbedaan parameter potong merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi waktu pemesinan serta tingkat kecepatan keausan mata pahat. Semakin mata pahat cepat mengalami keausan maka mata pahat tersebut akan mengalami penggantian sehingga biaya pada mata pahat akan semakin tinggi, dan juga mempengaruhi biaya produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbanding biaya produksi pada proses drilling dengan menggunakan dua jenis mata pahat yaitu HSS dan Karbida. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan variasi parameter pemotongan dan pengamatan keausan yang terjadi pada kedua mata pahat dan mengukur waktu pemotongan yang dicapai, kemudian melakukan perhitungan biaya produksi dengan menggunakan persamaan biaya permesinan.Dari hasil penelitian dapat dinyatakan bahwa perbedaan parameter pemotongan sangat mempengaruhi waktu pemesinan serta biaya produksi. Pada jenis pahat HSS 1 sampai HSS 3 waktu pemesinan yang didapat 114,17 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 844.900, 103,36 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 935.200, 95,87 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 1.033.900 dan pada jenis pahat karbida 1 sampai karbida 3 waktu pemesinan yang diperoleh 109,18 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 1.052.900, 93,33 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 1.105.000, 80,8 menit dengan biaya produksi Rp. 1.169.500

    PT. Triplast Indonesia adalah Perusahaan percetakan yang spesialisasinya bergerak pada paper forming dan printing. dengan produk berupa hologram paper, paper bag, inner box, handmade boxl. Pada bagian produksinya, terdapat operator yang bekerja dengan melakukan gerakan yang tidak ergonomis dan tidak dianjurkan, tergolong ringan namun jika dilakukan terus-menerus secara berulang dapat mengakibatkan cepat lelah, penegangan otot, serta rasa sakit pada bagian tertentu. Melihat kondisi tersebut, perlu dilakukan perancangan fasilitas kerja yang dapat memperbaiki kondisi kerja operator dalam proses bekerjanya, mengurangi ketidaknyamanan, serta meminimalkan waktu kerja agar produktivitas kerja dapat meningkat. Setelah diteliti dengan menggunakan REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assesment), proses kerja dengan nilai REBA tertinggi yaitu 10 dengan gerakan membungkuk saat mengambil paper yang ingin diproduksi pada stasiun waterbase, Dari hasil kuesioner Nordic Body Map juga menunjukan operator yang bekerja pada stasiun kerja dengan nilai REBA 10 mengeluhkan jumlah sakit yang paling banyak pada beberapa bagian tubuh. Oleh karena itu pada penelitan ini dilakukan perancangan fasilitas untuk memperbaiki gerakan mengambil material yang tidak ergonomis pada stasiun waterbase. Skor REBA turun menjadi 2 setelah perbaikan. Pada analisa waktu implementasi, waktu siklus rata-rata tiap kali pengambilan paper berkurang sebanyak 8 detik

    The activity of welding specimens on a big pipe that causes various problems for the body, in this activity the worker is at a risky position such as lifting a pipe weight 90 kg, lifting the specimen and welding the pipe with the specimen and the final process is to lower the pipe that has been connected. The purpose of this study is to design workstation by the principles of ergonomics to help reduce physical worker complaints. The research method in this study was the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to determine complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs); the work posture was analyzed by the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the welding work requires a tool in the form of a bench, pipe support, a pulley used at a new welding workstation. With a new workstation, poor work posture can be repaired. With a new work station, there is an efficiency of 8.33 minutes of work time from previous working conditions

    Effect of natural fibers reinforcement of honeycomb sandwich using numerical analysis

    The honeycomb sandwich structure has been extensively investigated for its mechanical performance. Modification in improving such mechanical properties is an innovation required of honeycomb sandwich, especially with adding a random fibers reinforcement inside a sheet panel plate. This study was developed random fiber reinforcement using natural fiber of Oil Palm, Sugar Cane and Coconut which constructed by commercial software code of MATLAB. This investigation was analyzed the performance of three-point bending behavior by using the finite-element model which provides four levels fiber condition to observed: 0, 50, 100 and 150 fiber numbers. Ansys Workbench/Dynamic code was chosen to predict mechanical performance such as stress and displacement analysis. In fiber development study, a series of numerical simulations were carried out with 2 types of fiber orientation as reinforcement, unidirectional and chopped randomly. The hybrid orientation also implemented in this research by combined unidirectional and chopped fiber which was fixed at 150 numbers then varied in three sets: S50/C100, S100:C50, and S75/C75. As a result, it was confirmed that the fiber reinforcement enhances the stiffness of the structure, which contributes a lot to the promotion of the bending resistance capacity and energy absorption. Especially on unidirectional fiber orientation shown a significant increase in absorbing stress during testing. It was similar which reported by the hybrid system, the fiber reinforcement sandwich showed better mechanical behavior in the simulation, and it was influenced by the unidirectional orientation

    This paper discusses on implementing the design of a quality assurance system using the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point HACCP approach. The HACCP is often considered by people who are not familiar as a problematic, complicated system that has to be left to experts. This system focuses on preventive measures by controlling the hazards of the drinking water treatment process to prevent the occurrence of diseases due to poisoned water and maintain product quality. This research was conducted at a bottled drinking water company. This company needs to commit to producing products that are hygienic and safe for consumption. In this study, laboratory testing of the finished goods was intended to determine the conformance quality of the product. The sample test result found the coliform bacteria in the bottled drinking water product. At last, this study developed critical control points in the daily operations by applying the whole HACCP principles based on the latest applicable standards

The purpose of this devotional activity is: Introduce and explain the basic theory of drawing using the computer, especially the use of Autodesk Fusion 360 program in the form of three dimensions. The benefits of this devotional activity are the junior high school graduates can recognize and apply computer-based drawing techniques. Improving the skills of high school graduates especially skills in the field of Fusion 360 applications.
