ABSTRACTKH. Faqih Usman was one of the best cadres of Muhammadiyah as well asMuhammadiyah's General Chairperson for the 1961-1971 term, although that positionwas only held for a few days because after his inauguration he later died on October 3,1968. He was a person who inspired Muhammadiyah and the Indonesian Nation. Theformer MIAI management and member of the Central National Committee had the roleof upholding the republic during the struggle for independence. Active in the Masyumiorganization and as a former Minister of Religion during the Halim PerdanakusumahCabinet, made him feel responsible when the PRRI eruption broke out. He along withM. Roem, struggled as hard as a mediator to reconcile the conflict between PRRI andthe central government at that time. This research uses the historical research method,which consists of four stages namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, andhistoriography. ABSTRACTThe problem discussed by partners is the limitations of students in terms ofunderstanding history and making drama scenarios, especially drama scenarioswith historical settings. This program aims to support creativity and students inreconstructing a historic event. Reconstruction then continued in making dramascenarios. Writing historical drama scenarios can provide alternative dramaperformances at school. Another benefit is fostering a sense of nationalism andnationality in students. The method used is training and mentoring. MODEL DIRECT INSTRUCTION UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN PENETAPAN ANGKA KREDIT GURU SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI CALON GURU SEJARAH PROFESIONAL

ABSTRACTThe problems in this study are 1) How to apply the direct instruction model to developthe ability to determine teacher credit points as an effort to increase the competence ofprospective professional history teachers 2) What are the results of improving studentabilities that have been achieved by applying the direct instruction model 3) What arethe obstacles faced and how to attempt to solve it. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. Data sources consist of documents and informants. Documents in the form ofbooks, magazines, journals, pretest and posttest results. Data were collected byrecording documents, observations, and interviews. The data validity was done by meansof data triangulation. Data analysis used interactive analysis with three stages ofanalysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Thisresearch results in the conclusion that 1) The direct instruction learning model canimprove understanding of the material, 2) Studying the material for teacher credit scoresmakes education study program students more creative and innovative in creating newideas, 3) The need for educational study program students to be equipped with the abilitymaterial for teacher credit scores so that later when they become teachers they becomeprofessional teachers with teacher professional rank lines.Keywords: Direct instruction learning model, teacher credit scor

Soekarno dan diplomasi Indonesia

Abstrak. Politik luar negeri Soekarno yang lebih condong ke kiri memunculkan kecemburuan dari pihak barat. Inggris mencoba menggabungkan wilayah koloninya di Semenanjung Malaka, Singa-pura dan Kalimantan Utara menjadi satu dalam Federasi Malaysia. Rencana ini kemudian ditentang oleh Pemerintah Indonesia. Presiden Soekarno berpendapat bahwa Federasi Malaysia merupakan Negara bentukan Inggris, dan hal ini memungkinkan bagi Inggris untuk melakukan kontrol atas Asia Tenggara khususnya Indonesia sebagai tetangga terdekat. Presiden Soekarno mengumumkan Indonesia keluar dari keanggotaan PBB. Presiden Soekarno kemudian membentuk kekuatan baru, yaitu The New Emerging Force (NEFO) sebagai representasi negara-negara dunia ketiga sebagai kekuatan baru untuk melawan kedigdayaan The Old Establsihed Force (OLDEFO) yang berisikan negara-negara maju. Memasuki penghujung tahun 1965 hubungan antara Indonesia semakin erat dengan Cina. Apa yang dilakukan Soekarno ini sebenarnya sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mengimbangi kekuatan militer di dalam politik Indonesia yang semakin menguat.Kata-kata kunci: Soekarno, diplomasi Indonesia, NEFO, GANEFOAbstract. England tries to unite all Malay colonies, Malay Peninsula, Singapore, and North Borneo be-coming a Malay federation. This plan then is refuted by Indonesian. Soekarno argues that the fed-eration formed by England and this will lead a control upon Southeast Asia including Indonesia as nearest neighbourhood country. Soekarno announces that Indonesia will leave from the United Na-tions. He forms the new power of The New Emerging Force (NEFO) as the representation of the third world resisting The Old Established Force (OLDEFO) consisting of the developed countries. Mengenal arsitektur tradisional Indonesia

Cerita berjudul Mengenal Arsitektur Tradisional Indonesia merupakan buku yang memberikan pemahaman bagaimana keberagaman budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Penulis adalah pengajar sejarah yang beberapa penelitiannya terkait dengan perkembangan dan akulturasi kebudayaan di Indonesia. Penyediaan buku yang mengusung tiga tujuan di atas diharapkan menjadi pematik bagi anak sekolah, pegiat literasi, dan warga masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, baca-tulis dan kemahiran berbahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, dengan membaca buku ini, siswa dan pegiat literasi diharapkan mengenali dan mengapresiasi kebinekaan sebagai kekayaan kebudayaan bangsa kita yang perlu dan harus dirawat untuk kemajuan Indonesia

ANALISIS MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADA BUKU TEKS IPS MATERI SEJARAH KELAS VII KURIKULUM 2013

This study aims to uncover the history of the subject matter contained in the curriculum social studies textbooks in 2013, the dominant type of media that the material on the history of class VII social studies textbook curriculum 2013 and the suitability of the material history of instructional media are implemented in social studies textbook curriculum 2013. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of exactly which studies document. The results of this study indicate historical material Class VII social studies curriculum in 2013 that is dispersed in the Subject “Social Life in the Future Praaksara Indonesian Society, Hindu-Buddhist and Isla”, “The Factors that Influence Social and Cultural Diversity” , and “contacts with the state another”. In Class VII social studies book historical material, the dominance of media images are quite striking, reaching 90 % , the rest is history map media. Textbook curriculum developed in 2013, when viewed from a number of emerging media support has been quite a lot of text. This is certainly related to the philosophy of the curriculum in 2013 where learning begins from the concrete toward abstract, so that the role of the media in the learning process and the learning support facilities such as text books is very important to realize. Despite of media analysis in textbooks, media availability is quite good, but the creativity of the teacher in a more varied use of media is necessary.
