Schematic Representation: How Students Creating IT?

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses terbentuknya representasi skematis murni dan representasi skematis campuran yang diciptakan oleh siswa selama menyelesaikan word problem. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriprif. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 45 siswa kelas 8. Sedangkan untuk memilih subjek tidak dipilih secara acak, namun dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan siswa dalam menciptkan representasi skematik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan meminta siswa untuk menyelesaikan Tugas Pemecahan Masalah secara think aload, yaitu siswa diminta untuk menyuarakan apa yang dipikirkannya. Selain itu siswa juga menuangkan pikirannya mengunakan kertas dan pensil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses representasi skematis murni diciptakan siswa dengan membuat gambar skema berupa garis besar dari masalah dan dilengkapi dengan beberapa keterangan pokok yang ada dalam masalah. Sedangkan proses representasi skematis campuran diciptakan siswa dengan membuat gambar skema yang dilengkapi dengan keterangan-keterangan dan gambar nyata yang sesuai dengan situasi dalam masalah. Kedua jenis representasi skematis ini sangat efektif dalam membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan word problem

The research is aimed at investigating the exclusive position of the Minister of Finance as an applicant in an insurance company's bankruptcy. This given authority has brought up issues in relation to law particularly concerning principle obedience. Problems raised in this research are, first, has Article 2 (5) Act No. 37 Year 2004 fulfilled the justice principle especially in the context of the nation's role? Second, the given authority is in accordance with the positions and functions of the finance minister as “the government”. The methodology used in this paper is normative research. The research findings are: first, the nation's participation in organising and overseeing the insurance company's activities is fair. However, the chosen mechanism has actually ignored the law principles that have been agreed upon. Emergency Physicians provide ongoing care to psychiatric patients beyond the confines of a standard emergency room visit.  Often, when we identify patients who need specialty psychiatric care, patients board in the emergency department awaiting acceptance and transfer to an outside facility.  Even in cases where it has taken multiple days to complete the transfer, it has been unclear how to properly obtain reimbursement for this care.  We discuss a new coding clarification that may provide a pathway to improve part of this situation

Penerapan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Di Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Maibua Tolitoli

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada konsep gaya magnet mata pelajaran IPA hanya mencapai 65, nilai tersebut masih jauh dari standar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan di sekolah tersebut yaitu 70. Telah dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Maibua dengan menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: (1). Perencanaan (2). Pelaksanaan (3). Observasi (4). Releksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi lapangan dan tes tindakan serta hasil observasi guru dan siswa. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup signifikan baik pada aktivitas guru maupun siswa, hasil analisis data menunjukkan ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I mencapai 70% sedangkan siklus II mencapai 95% dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I adalah 71 sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 78. Jadi penggunaan pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA khususnya materi konsep gaya magnet

Web Series as Digital Brand

The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the Web Series in discussing and delivering messages to audiences about the "value" of the product, where the web series published on digital media such as Youtube that becomes the attractive promotional strategies for the consumers. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach that explains the promotion strategy and brand engagement through the web series that became a new content marketing campaign. The results of this study are the increased proximity between customers and brand as well as the increased understanding brand which leads to brand awareness because attractive promotional strategies can attract the attention of consumers. The use of web series to build engagement with customers also has its own added value, where the web series can also be used as a product campaign such as Ax Indonesia, which released a Web Series Axelerate the series: Kostan AX/3 that is in conjunction with the launch of their new product, Pomade, and Facial Wash. This study concludes that the approach to consumers must be adjusted to the characteristics of consumers themselves so that messages can be conveyed more effectively and on target

Feasibility study for an employee owned company... to deliver health care services to seniors in (north) Hartford, Connecticut

This feasibility study was instituted in April 1997, after the author was in the Community Economic Development - Masters Program, at New Hampshire College for nine months, beginning in September 1996. This change from the original topic was instituted after prodding from the project advisor Mr. Woullard Lett, coupled with the buildup of class information, which showed that additional work was needed to secure greater community input and a more detailed analysis of 'need and market'. The goal of this study was to determine whether or not it was feasible to setup such a business in (North) Hartford. The central outcome of the study was, that those involved should go on immediately to the next step, that of putting together a full blown business plan. I have two desires for this paper: 1. That it directs others to work closer and earlier with their respective advisors, in order than valuable time is not lost, in really coming to grips with the task of delivering a product that not only receives an above average grade, but also really contributes something significant to the many needs that exist in our communities. 2. That it kindles a spark in at least one reader in the future, to take this idea to the next level of implementation. Lokalisasi Jarak dan Sudut Pembacaan Kartu Radio Frequecy Identification (RFID)

– Teknis pembacaan kartu RFID (tag) dimana pembaca kartunya (card reader) diletakan dekat permukaan logam akan memiliki pelemahan sensitivitas sinyal penerimaan radio frekuensi yang cukup significan. Dari hasil percobaan membuktikan bahwa received signal strength index (RSSI) akan berkurang 14 dBm bila reader diletakan dekat dengan permukaan logam. RSSI adalah sebuah pendekatan cermat untuk optimasi jarak dan sudut antara pemancar (tag) dan penerima (reader). Dari hasil percobaan menunjukan pula bahwa bukan hanya jarak, sudut maupun logam yang mempengaruhi besaran nilai RSSI namun besaran kendali daya pemancar (reader) agar tag aktif dalam jarak dan sudut yang telah dilokalisai.
