    Spectral independent component analysis of heart rate variability

    Formal mathematical procedure of developed Spectral Independent Component Analysis (SICA) of heart rate variability (HRV) allows to obtain no more than three components forming the rhythmogramm of healthy person. This fact rationally represents physiological hypotheses about regulation systems taking part in forming HRV phenomenon. Applying SICA to HRV approves itself on timing intervals form 3 to 15 minutes. Π’reaking the low limit of this timing interval causes essential worsening of quality of ICA components forming the rhythmogramm. Optimal application of SICA for splitting initial registered HRV signal into components is using SICA with five-minute HRV registering protocol

    Multifunctional Solar Systems Based On Two-Stage Regeneration Absorbent Solution

    The concepts of multifunctional dehumidification solar systems, heat supply, cooling, and air conditioning based on the open absorption cycle with direct absorbent regeneration developed. The solar systems based on preliminary drainage of current of air and subsequent evaporated cooling. The solar system using evaporative coolers both types (direct and indirect). The principle of two-stage regeneration of absorbent used in the solar systems, it used as the basis of liquid and gas-liquid solar collectors. The main principle solutions are designed for the new generation of gas-liquid solar collectors. Analysis of the heat losses in the gas-liquid solar collectors, due to the mechanism of convection and radiation is made. Optimal cost of gas and liquid, as well as the basic dimensions and configuration of the working channel of the solar collector identified. Heat and mass transfer devices, belonging to the evaporative cooling system based on the interaction between the film and the gas stream and the liquid therein. Multichannel structure of the polymeric materials used to create the tip. Evaporative coolers of water and air both types (direct and indirect) are used in the cooling of the solar systems. Preliminary analysis of the possibilities of multifunctional solar absorption systems made reference to problems of cooling media and air conditioning on the basis of experimental data the authors.     New Solutions for Solar Absorption Refrigeration Systems and Air Conditioning Systems

    The mission of the research includes the following objectives: the development of new circuit decisions for the alternate refrigerating systems based on the use of an open absorptive circuit and on the use of solar energy for absorbent solution regeneration; an assessment of the energy and environmental characteristics of the developed systems; obtaining of the experimental data for an assessment of the principal capabilities of the proposed new solar air-conditioning systems. The multistage principle of the creation of drying and cooling contours with the increase of concentration of absorbent on cooler steps is offered. The absorber with internal steam cooling allowing the improvement of the scheme of the alternate refrigerating system is developed. On the basis of the obtained experimental data the analysis of the main opportunities of the developed solar air-conditioning systems was made which showed that the created systems: provide the required comfortable parameters indoors without engaging of traditional refrigerating technics; allow to use only one - or two-stage option of refrigerating system for application in the conditions of Ukraine and of Europe. In comparison with traditional vapor-compression systems, the developed solar systems provide the considerable decrease in energy consumption (to 30%), their use leads to the decrease of exhaustion of natural resources, influences less global climate change

    Low-Temperature Evaporative Air Coolers. Development and Analysis of Opportunities

    The purpose of the study is to develop and conduct a cycle of theoretical and experimental studies of low-temperature evaporative air coolers. The developed circuit solutions of the coolers ensure the reduction of the evaporative cooling limit from the temperature of the wet thermometer to the dew point temperature of the incoming air flow. The analysis of the fundamental capabilities of low-temperature air coolers are made taking into account modern solutions (patents) and publications in leading foreign scientific journals. The scientific novelty of the research consists in analyzing of the state of the air flow within the nozzle of the evaporative cooler. The authors conducted studies taking into account the danger of β€œrecondensation” of the processes of joint heat and mass transfer in an indirect type evaporative air cooler - a chiller, which provides an opportunity to analyze the state of the main and auxiliary air flows in the evaporative air cooler depending on the ratio of gas and liquid flows and initial parameters (temperature and moisture content) of the external air. A series of experimental studies of hydrodynamic processes and joint heat and mass transfer is developed. The goal of reducing the limit of evaporative cooling had been achieved by using of air coolers - chillers ensures the achievement of comfort parameters of air in an air conditioning system without using traditional vapor compression technology. This goal had been achieved by using a portion of chilled water to pre-cool the incoming air stream with its constant moisture content

    Treatment of acne is one of the important problems of modern dermatology. The goal of the research. The study of clinical efficacy and safety of the 15% azelaic acid in the form of Azelik-gel in the treatment of patients with papulo-pustular acne, mild to moderate in severity. Material and methods. Open comparative study of 8 weeks, which was attended by 75 patients. To assess the safety and efficacy of the therapy was performed clinical and biochemical blood and urine tests, evaluation of dermatological status, measurement of pH, moisture and oiliness of skin and analysis of DLQI. Results. 82% of patients receiving the Azelik-gel, marked clinical improvement or significant improvement. Conclusions.     Jessner’s lymphocytic infiltrate of skin, reticular erythematous mucinosis and lupus tumidus are the group of rare, insufficiently explored dermatosis with common clinical and histological features, whose nosology is controversial today. Plasmacytoid dendritic cells play the key role in autoimmune disease induction The target of our study was the analysis of pathomorphological features of lesional skin and the research of plasmacytoid dendritic cells in the skin of patients with Jessner’s lymphocytic infiltrate of skin, reticular erythematous mucinosis and lupus tumidus. Material and methods. Histological and indirect immunohistochemistry examination (anti-CD123 antibodies) of lesional skin of 36 patients was held (JLIS - 12, REM - 10, LT - 14) and 10 healthy people. Result. The main pathomorphological changes of skin in all groups were found in dermis: dense perivascular and perifollicular infiltration and deposit of mucin between collagen fibers. Deposits of mucin in papillary dermis were found between patients with JLIS, REM and LT in 10/12 (83%), 7/10 (70%) and 12/14 (86%) of cases, there were no mucin found in skin of healthy people 0/10 (0%) In all dermatosis the distribution of CD123 cells in lesional skin, in immunohistochemistry study, was corresponded clusters model of infiltrate - plasmacytoid DC concentrate in groups around vessels of superficial and profundus networks and perivascular. The comparative analysis of density and localization of perivascular infiltration, number of CD123-cells and their correspondence in dermis perivascular infiltrates didn’t reveal statistically significant differences between JLIS, REM and LT. Results.
