Underwater Acoustic Target Classification Using Convolutional Neural Network Combined with Continuous Wavelet Transform
Underwater acoustic target (UAT) classification is a critical task in submarine warfare because acoustic waves are the reliable information source that allows sonar operators and commanders to understand the surrounding situation in the operational area. To solve the problem of UAT classification, this paper proposes a convolutional neural network combined with continuous wavelet transform for improving the accuracy of UAT classification. The classification focuses on types of noise emitted from the propellers of different ships. Signal processing methods such as Short Time Fourier Transform, Continuous Wavelets Transform, and CNN are executed to extract signal features that provide information for classifier. Simulation results are achieved with an accuracy of 99.64\% when using the Continuous Wavelets Transform method combined with the convolutional neural network, which is higher than other traditional methods
Reclamation of Marine Chitinous Materials for Chitosanase Production via Microbial Conversion by Paenibacillus macerans
[[abstract]]: Chitinous materials from marine byproducts elicit great interest among biotechnologists for
their potential biomedical or agricultural applications. In this study, four kinds of marine chitinous
materials (squid pens, shrimp heads, demineralized shrimp shells, and demineralized crab shells)
were used to screen the best source for producing chitosanase by Paenibacillus macerans TKU029.
Among them, the chitosanase activity was found to be highest in the culture using the medium
containing squid pens as the sole carbon/nitrogen (C/N) source. A chitosanase which showed
molecular weights at 63 kDa was isolated from P. macerans cultured on a squid pens medium.
The purified TKU029 chitosanase exhibited optimum activity at 60 â—¦C and pH 7, and was stable at
temperatures under 50 â—¦C and pH 3-8. An analysis by MALDI-TOF MS revealed that the chitosan
oligosaccharides (COS) obtained from the hydrolysis of water-soluble chitosan by TKU029 crude
enzyme showed various degrees of polymerization (DP), varying from 3–6. The obtained COS
enhanced the growth of four lactic acid bacteria strains but exhibited no effect on the growth of E. coli.
By specialized growth enhancing effects, the COS produced from hydrolyzing water soluble chitosan
with TKU029 chitinolytic enzymes could have potential for use in medicine or nutraceuticals.[[sponsorship]]MOST[[notice]]補æ£å®Œ
How To Motivate Language Learning Environment: CALL Before And After The Pandemic Of Covid-19
Integrating information technology into teaching and learning foreign languages holds significant importance for the education system of our country. This serves as a crucial foundation for shaping the core generation of the future, aiding the nation's development, and advancing on the path of international integration. However, the application of information technology in foreign language education is currently prevalent primarily in schools located within major cities. To achieve the good effectiveness of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), suitable solutions tailored to specific localities are necessary, which is the motivation for this study. I conducted this study focusing on high school students in Nha Trang to understand their attitudes towards the use of information technology in learning English before and after the pandemic Covid 19. This understanding was then used to discuss and propose several appropriate solutions aimed at cultivating a self-directed, creative, and engaging learning environment. This research has the potential to contribute towards generating general solutions for the implementation of information technology in teaching and learning across Vietnam
Identity Representation in Customization. A Case of Nike Shoes
Customization has been well-studied in perspective of manufacturers in the context of developed countries, however, not well-explored in developing countries like Vietnam. The present research was conducted to address customization as a value creator, associated withthe particularcase of Nike's shoes, for consumers in Vietnam. Based on prior studies, a model was built to examine customization through the meaning of customized products. This research aims to determineimportantfactors influencing the product meaning that young consumers use to evaluate Nike's products. Following a survey-based quantitative approach, Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze 227 participants, who have used Nike's products. The findings showed that personal identity-based motivation, social identity-based motivation, need for uniqueness, andaestheticimpressions wereimportantpredictors of customized Nike's shoes meaning, which influences consumer evaluation of the products
The application of (Y,Gd)BO3:Tb3+ and CaGa2S4:Mn2+ phosphors to remote white light-emitting diodes
The remote phosphor structure is superior to the conformal phosphor and the in-cup phosphor in terms of lighting efficiency; however, managing the color quality of the remote phosphor structure has been a nuisance to the manufacturers. To address this problem, many researches were conducted and the results suggested that using dual-layer phosphor structure and triple-layer phosphor structure could improve the color quality in remote phosphor structures. The purpose of this article is to study which one between the two configurations mentioned above allows multi-chip white LEDs (WLEDs) to reach highest indexes in color rendering index (CRI), color quality scale (CQS), luminous flux (LF), and color uniformity. The color temperature of the WLEDs used for the experiments in this article is 8500 K. The result of this research shows that the triple-layer phosphor configuration has higher CRI, CQS, and LE and also able to reduce color deviation resulting in better color uniformity. This conclusion can be verified by analyzing the scattering features of the phosphor layers using the Mie-theory. Being verifiable increases the reliability of the research result and makes it a valuable reference for producing better quality WLEDs
Enhancing the CRI and lumen output for the 6600 K WLED with convex-dual-layer remote phosphor geometry by applying red-emitting MGSR3SI2O8:EU2+,MN2+ phosphor
The traditional white LED product established with a single chip and a single phosphor results in a low color rendering index (CRI). The upgrade of LED package is comprised of two chips and one phosphor material and gives the higher CRI while keeping high luminous efficiency. Based on previous findings, the research paper performs the application of the two chips and two phosphors to enhance the color tunability of LEDs with different amounts and intensities of the two employed phosphors. Additionally, a color design model is built to serve the purpose of bettering the color fine-tuning of the white-light LED module. The maximum value of the difference between the measured CIE 1931 color coordinates and that of the simulated model is approximately 0.0063 around the 6600 K correlated color temperature (CCT). From the results, this study offers a quick approach to achieve the color fine tuning of a white-light LED module with a high CRI and luminous efficiency

Global attractivity of positive periodic solution of a delayed Nicholson model with nonlinear density-dependent mortality term
This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and global attractivity of positive periodic solution of a delayed Nicholson’s blowflies model with nonlinear density-dependent mortality rate. By some comparison techniques via differential inequalities, we first establish sufficient conditions for the global uniform permanence and dissipativity of the model. We then utilize an extended version of the Lyapunov functional method to show the existence and global attractivity of a unique positive periodic solution of the underlying model. An application to the model with constant coefficients is also presented. Two numerical examples with simulations are given to illustrate the efficacy of the obtained results
The Status of Educational Sciences In Vietnam: A Bibliometric Analysis From Clarivate Web Of Science Database Between 1991 And 2018
Since 2013, Vietnam has implemented a plan to reform the whole education sector. However, there is little understanding on the status of educational research in Vietnam, which may lay the foundation for such plan. Thus, this research aims to analyze the whole picture of educational research from Vietnam, as seen from the Clarivate Web of Science (WOS) database: 215 publications were recorded, ranging from 1991 to 2018. These 215 publications were further analyzed from five perspectives: 1) number of publications by year; 2) research fields and levels of education; 3) top institutions with the highest number of publications; 4) international collaboration; and 5) quality. Some of the most notable results are: 1) the educational sciences in Vietnam have been still under-developed until recently; 2) among different research topics research among educational sciences, some (e.g., Vocational Education and Training or Early Childhood Education) seemed to be overlooked whereas others (e.g., Higher Education and Teaching and Learning) seemed to receive more attention from educational scholars; 3) all the most major education – specialized universities did not appear among the top five institutions with highest number of publications; 4) Australia, Thailand, the USA, New Zealand and China were the countries with the highest number of co-publications with Vietnamese researchers; and 5) The majority of publications belonged to low-ranked journals. Implications would be withdrawn for Vietnamese policymakers, education leaders, educational researchers and teachers in order to adjust their policies and/or action plans; thus, enhancing the performance and impacts of educational research in the future
