    Internalization of Indonesian Language as a Critical Thinking Development Effort in Character Formation

    Indonesian language courses are compulsory for every student. The purpose of this study is to describe the Indonesian language learning strategy by internalizing Indonesian language education in the development of critical thinking. Critical thinking criteria using FRISCO from Ennis. This research is qualitative with research instruments using observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and tests. Whereas the data analysis technique following Miles and Huberman is done by data reduction and continuous data presentation. Data validity uses data triangulation. The findings show that the critical thinking skills of students on average meet the UISU National Standards. Development of a project-based Indonesian learning strategy that is tailored to the material. The process of internalizing Indonesian education emphasizes critical thinking skills in character building. Proven project-based Indonesian learning strategies can hone students' critical thinking skills so that student character education is formed

    EFEKTIVITAS PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BLENDED LEARNING BERBASIS KONSTRUKTIVISTIK PADA MATA KULIAH PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGRAAN

    The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of developing constructive learning based learning models on subjects of Citizenship Education. Testing the effectiveness of this learning model is done by an experimental method by comparing the use of a blended learning model with a learning model that is usually done at the Education Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra.This research  was carried out in the second semester (two) of the 2017/2018 school year with a population of 156 students and the sample was 56 students.The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling and selected a history education study program totaling 29 students and a Pancasila  and  Citizenship  Education  study  program  totaling  27  students. Hypothesis testing using independent T test. Based on the results of the T test obtained a significance value of 4.270 with a degree of freedom of 54. While the p-value for the two-sided test (test-tailed) is 0,000 which is smaller tha a = 0,05.The rejected  that the statistical hypothesis Ho :  mexperiment =  mcontrol. So  that  it  can  be  concluded  that  the  score  of  learning outcomes  in  the Citizenship Education course of the experimental group with different control groups.The conclusion of this study indicates that the results of the development of  a  constructive-based  blended  learning  model  in  Citizenship  Education courses are effective.     Salah satu kebijakan penting dalam meningkatkan pelayanan pendidikan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai adalah penuntasan pelaksanaan wajib belajar (Wajar) pendidikan dasar 9 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka partisipasi kasar (APK) SD dan SMP Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. APK merupakan indikator yang paling sederhana untuk mengukur daya serap penduduk usia sekolah di masing-masing jenjang. Tolok ukur keberhasilan kebijaksanaan pendidikan adalah ada pada implementasinya. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh penduduk usia 7 – 12 tahun dan penduduk usia 13 – 15 tahun yang tinggal di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dengan menggunakan sampel random acak. Pengumpulan datanya dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan pencatatan dokumen. Hasil temuan menunjukkan APK SD/MI di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai termasuk kategori tuntas paripurna. Sedangkan rerata APK untuk tingkat SMP/MTs termasuk kategori tuntas madya.Walaupun pelaksanaan Wajar pendidikan dasar 9 tahun di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dapat dikatakan berhasil, namun masih terdapat sejumlah masalah yang perlu mendapat perhatian dari kalangan pemerintah, sekolah, maupun masyarakat

    This research aims to describe the mastery of role playing technique, the ability to analyze the character and the influence of mastery of role playing technique in the ability to analyze the character of a character in the drama script of "Graffito". The research population was 84 students from all class XI. Of the total population there were 40 people set purposively as the sample and they were from class XI IPS. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlative analysis techniques. Data collection tool used is objective test.The results of the data analysis found that the relationship between role playing technique with the ability to analyze the character is positive and significant.The relationship enough / being with a correlation index 0.680. That means, the better the students master the role playing technique the more able students to analyze the character. The mastery of role playing techinique gives the influence for 46.24% on the ability to analyze the character in drama script.
