The role of endothelial dysfunction for pregnancy complications occurrence with asiderotic anemia in pregnant women
The aim of the study was to assess the endothelium in pregnant women suffering from iron
deficiency anemia . It is shown that the combination of IDA and placental dysfunction is associated
with the signs of endothelial dysfunction in the form of asymmetric response of endothelium to
reactive hyperemia after mechanical stress on the vascular wall and increase the diameter of the
brachial artery by more than 10 % in 85 % of pregnant women. The data suggest that the
assessment of the functional state of the endothelium via flow-dependent vasodilation is adequate
non-invasive method of assessing the nature of endothelial function in pregnant women

The clinical effects of the use of various functional food products were discussed. The instances of the additive interaction of nutrients used for food fortification were depicted. The issues of the methodology of selecting food products for the diet correction were reviewed. The international experience of the development of fortification schemes for basic food products was analyzed. The especial attention was dedicated to the problem of iron deficiency in pregnant females. There were urged the issues of clinical epidemiology of iron deficiency states amongst females of fertile age, the pathophysiology
of sideropenic syndrome, its associations with other nosologies. There was demonstrated that the correction of iron deficiency amongst pregnant females suffering from iron deficiency anemia should be differentiated accordingly to the anemia severity. For mild severity of iron deficiency the diet correction of iron consumption should be conducted with the administration of vitamin-mineral complexes containing not less than 60 mg organic salts of bivalent iron and other antianemic biologically active nutrients in the physiological dosages for pregnancy. The issues of the usage of food fortified with probiotics, food fiber, calcium, iodine and prebiotics were discussed. There were conversed the safety issues of the usage of functional food in pregnant females. There was argued that the practical application of the concept of functional food could be helpful for the correction of the present alimentary deficiency since early terms of gestation as well as
reduce the risk of pregnancy and childbirth complications significantly. The selection of the optimal strategies of diet correction depends on the clinical epidemiology of alimentary deficiency and could be realized at the individual as well as at the population level

type and degree of emotional stability-instability of 160 women who have
chosen different methods of delivery anesthesia were different. Method of delivery
anesthesia was chosen by the patients without assistance after obtaining the
detailed information. All the patients attended traditional psychoprophylaxis
delivery training during their maternity consultations.
The choice of delivery anesthesia methods by women with different individual
psychotypological characteristics was analysed. Patients having different
psychotypes preferred different delivery anesthesia methods.
Data obtained allowed to come to conclusion that mainly individual and
personal peculiarities of women determine their attitude towards delivery
anesthesia and chosing the delivery anesthesia method if patient is informed in
detail.ΠΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄Π΅Π»Π΅Π½Ρ ΠΏΡΠΈΡ

.The pertinence of the study is related to a large prevalence of dysfunction of the placenta in pregnant women suffering from
anemia. To evaluate the immunohistochemical expression characteristics of endothelial NO-synthase (eNOS) in the placenta during its
dysfunction in women against the background of anemia 30 samples of placental tissue were studied with the use of immunohistochemical
and micrometer methods.
Materials and results. It was found that the expression of eNOS in patients with iron defi ciency anemia in the cytoplasm of syncytium
of villi and fetal capillary endothelium as well as decidual vessels decreases, with the most pronounced changes in the expression of
eNOS observed in the presence of the combination of placental dysfunction and iron defi ciency anemia in the form of paradoxical
increase in expression.
Conclusion. This indicates the necessity for correction of endothelial function in women with anemia during pregnancy.ΠΠΊΡΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΎΠ±ΡΡΠ»ΠΎΠ²Π»Π΅Π½Π° Π·Π½Π°ΡΠΈΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠ°ΡΠΏΡΠΎΡΡΡΠ°Π½Π΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΡΡ Π΄ΠΈΡΡΡΠ½ΠΊΡΠΈΠΈ ΠΏΠ»Π°ΡΠ΅Π½ΡΡ Ρ Π±Π΅ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΡΡ

Morphologic and Immune-histochemic Peculiarities of Placenta in Its Dysfunction in Anemia of Pregnancy.
Placental dysfunction occurs in 17-35% of pregnant women. Iron deficiency anemia complicating pregnancy and childbirth affects fetal development. In its turn, pregnancy contributes to the rapid progress of iron deficiency anemia. The aim of the study was to evaluate the morphological and immunohistochemical features of the placenta in its dysfunction in women with anemia during pregnancy. The study was performed on clinical bases of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology β1 of ONMedU (Odessa) and pathologic department of SI " IPOG NAMSU" (Kiev). The complex dynamic examination of pregnant women with subsequent examination of the placenta was performed. Patients were divided into 3 groups. 1st group consisted of pregnant women with physiological pregnancy and childbirth (n=10), 2nd group included women suffering from anemia during pregnancy (n=10); 3rd group consisted of women with pregnancy accompanied with placental dysfunction and anemia (n=10). Organometric, macroscopic, general histological, micrometer, histochemical and immunohistochemical methods were used. It is shown that reduction of incidence of regeneration - proliferative marker Ki -67 in the nuclei of villous syncytial structure is more pronounced in the development of placental dysfunction against a background of anemia during pregnancy
Nitric Oxide Synthase Expression in Placental Tissue in Iron Deficiency Anemia
One of the most important pathogenetic mechanisms of pregnancy complications are disregulation changes caused by the functioning disturbance of the nitric oxide depending (nitrergic) systems. Hypoxia occuring in iron deficiency anemia affects the activity of guanylate cyclase, which is an oxygen acceptor and intimately depends on the nitric oxide production. Thus, iron deficiency acts as a trigger for mediation violation of nitrergic system. The objective of the study was to evaluate the expression of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) in placental tissue of the patients with iron deficiency anemia. The research was conducted at the maternity home β 2 (Odessa) and pathomorphology department of SI "IPAG NAMSU", Kyiv). 20 pregnant women were examined. They were divided into two groups: I (control group) included10 women with physiological pregnancy and childbirth and II (experimental group) included 10 women suffering from iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy. The level of eNOS expression was assessed with the use of immunohistochemical method. The expression of eNOS in placental tissue of women giving birth who had signs of iron deficiency anemia during the whole period of gestation, decreases in both the cytoplasm of syncytium villi and endothelium of fetal capillaries, and cytoplasm of vascular endothelial decidua. The described changes in the expression of eNOS may act as prerequisites for the development of endothelial dysfunction and associated pathological conditions during pregnancy
