    A physical model of convective-dispersive transport in an intergranular porous material

    A physical model for tracer transport in an intergranular porous material is presented. Particularly, the measured temporal variations of a tracer mass concentration inside the physical model are compared to the one predicted for the same boundary and initial conditions by the 1D and 2D analytical solutions of the governing differential equation. A non-reactive tracer and steady flow conditions are considered. The PĆ©clet number for the considered flow is such that the molecular diffusion can be neglected

    Bus Split Contingency Analysis Implementation in the NetVision DAM EMS

    Implementation of the bus coupler outage scenarios, commonly known as bus splitting, in the NetVision DAM energy management system (EMS) contingency analysis is presented in this paper. In order to identify the bus coupler branches in the network model, the existing topology processor was upgraded. The description of the topological algorithm for detection of the bus couplers is given. Based on the topology analysis results, calculation subnodes are created. Calculation model was modified in order to include the bus couplers and the subnodes as the new calculation objects. These modifications are fundamental for the introduction of the bus coupler outages in the contingency analysis. Implications of the bus coupler outages on the load flow mathematical model are discussed. Implemented NetVision DAM solution for the analysis of such outage scenarios is presented

    U danaÅ”njem vremenu suočavamo se s vrlo brzim napretkom tehnologije i digitalizacijom gotovo u svim segmentima naÅ”eg života. Treba napomenuti da promet ima vrlo važnu ulogu iz razloga Å”to on omogućuje ljudima svakodnevno kretanje. Da bi druÅ”tvo moglo kvalitetno funkcionirati i napredovati, potrebno je i sam promet podići na jednu viÅ”u razinu, a to je između ostalog, uvođenje autnomne tehnologije u području prijevoza. Stoga i ne čudi pojava potražnje za autonomnim vozilima. Činjenica je da danas vozila postaju sve viÅ”e samostalnija, a njihov je glavni cilj zamijena uloge čovjeka i uvođenje potpune automatizacije vozila. Hoće li se u potpunosti moći ostvariti sve Å”to se zamislilo, vidjet će se u nadolazećim godinama. Upravo će o tome biti govora u ovom diplomskom radu koji će se osvrnuti ne samo na sam pojam automatizacije i autonomna vozila nego i na prednosti te nedostatke istih, koje su moguće prilike i rizici uvođenja ove vrste tehnologije te koja su trenutna dostignuća u automatizaciji vozila.In today's world, we are facing rapid technological advancements and digitalization in almost every aspect of our lives. It is worth noting that transportation plays a crucial role as it enables people to move around on a daily basis. In order for society to function and progress effectively, it is necessary to elevate transportation to a higher level, and that is the introduction of autonomous technology in the field of transportation. Therefore, it is not surprising to see the emergence of demand for autonomous vehicles. The fact is that vehicles are becoming increasingly autonomous, with their main goal being to replace the role of humans and introduce complete vehicle automation. Whether everything envisioned will be fully realized remains to be seen in the coming years. This thesis will focus on precisely that, not only exploring the concept of automation and autonomous vehicles, but also discussing the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies, potential opportunities and risks associated with their implementation, and current achievements in vehicle automation

    U danaÅ”nje vrijeme kontejnerski promet ima važnu ulogu u pomorskom prometu. Razvoj kontejnerizacije je doveo do lakÅ”eg i bržeg prijevoza tereta, posebice generalnog. U ovom radu objasnit će se koja je uloga kontejnera, kao jedinice prijevoza tereta. Također, unutar rada navedene su i opisane vrste kontejnera, kontejnerskih brodova te tereta koji se prevozi kontejnerima. Isto tako, objaÅ”njeni su načini manipulacije kontejnerima, njihovo osiguranje da bi se spriječio nastanak Å”tete, te njihov ukrcaj, iskrcaj i prekrcaj. Na kraju zavrÅ”nog rada stavljen je i jedan primjer iz prakse koji opisuje postupak transporta kontejnera.Today container traffic plays an important role in maritime traffic.
