Effect of synchronous remote-based interventions on suicidal behaviours : protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis

The impact of suicide affects the personal, social and economic levels. Therefore, its prevention is a priority for public health systems. Previous studies seem to support the efficacy of providing active contact to people who have made a suicide attempt. The current systematic review and meta-analysis aims to investigate the efficacy of distance suicide prevention strategies implemented through synchronous technology-based interventions. Methods and analysis: This protocol is designed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols. The bibliographical searches were conducted in the databases PubMed, PsycINFO, Scopus and Web of Science in April 2022, with no restrictions on the time of publication and limited to publications in English or Spanish. The search strategy was performed using free-text terms and Medical Subject Headings terms: suicide, follow-up, synchronous, remote, telehealth, telephone, hotline, video-conference and text message. Two reviewers will independently conduct study screening, selection process, data extraction and risk of bias assessment. The analysis and synthesis of the results will be both qualitative and quantitative. A narrative synthesis, presented in a comprehensive table, will be performed and meta-analysis will be conducted, as appropriate, if sufficient data are provided. Ethics and dissemination: The present review and meta-analysis will not require ethical approval, as it will use data collected from previously published primary studies. The findings of this review will be published in peer-reviewed journals and widely disseminated

MEJORAMIENTO DEL PROCESO DE CAPTACIÓN DE ALUMNADO DEL CENTRO DE ADMINISTRACIÓN DE NEGOCIOS CASO DE ESTUDIO: MEDIA SUPERIOR A TRAVÉS DE LA METODOLOGÍA TÉCNICAS MULTICRITERIO PARA EL CORRECTO DESARROLLO DE UN PLAN DE MERCADEO ESTRATÉGICO

El presente proyecto busca analizar los factores más importantes que inciden en los estudiantes de secundaria al momento de elegir una preparatoria. Para la investigación se utilizó un intervalo de confianza del 90% y un margen de error del 10%. Se empleó la técnica multicriterio para el desarrollo de la investigación. Los resultados indican que los principales aspectos más relevantes en las encuestas son de índole económica, prestigio académico, ubicación y plan de estudios

Conclusions: Telematics suicide prevention has been an emergent field for years, although there is currently no evidence that synthesises the efficacy of synchronous remote-based interventions. This protocol outlines the methods of a planned research that will extend knowledge derived from the current available evidence. It will provide guidance to clinical practice and encourage further research. Systematic review registration: This protocol has been registered at the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO), under the identification number CRD42021275044

Viejos problemas, nuevas alternativas : estrategias de lucha contra la pobreza gestadas desde el Sur

Este libro reúne un conjunto de trabajos presentados en el Seminario Internacional "Estrategias contra la pobreza: alternativas desde el Sur" organizado conjuntamente por el Programa CLACSO-CROP de estudios sobre pobreza en América Latina y el Caribe y el Centro de Estudios sobre Población, Empleo y Desarrollo (CEPED, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de Buenos Aires) en diciembre de 2009. En los textos se realiza un balance de las respuestas surgidas, tanto desde el Estado como desde los diferentes grupos de la sociedad civil, ante el incre- mento de la marginalidad, la pobreza y la exclusión, resultantes de los proce- sos de achicamiento del Estado, la desprotección laboral y el aumento del desempleo. En general, las miradas son críticas cuando se trata de analizar las políticas que se llevaron a cabo en los distintos países del continente bajo el marco ideológico de los organismos internacionales. Los autores muestran que, en general, éstas no estuvieron orientadas a atacar las causas de tales procesos, sino que por el contrario profundizaron aún más la situación agre- gando "carga a la carga" y aumentando los niveles de vulnerabilidad social. Otro conjunto de artículos, por su parte, rescatan el surgimiento de propuestas alternativas generadas por movimientos sociales y comunitarios autogestionados, movilizados en defensa del territorio, de sus derechos o en demanda de trabajo. Estas experiencias organizadas "desde abajo" y a partir de la propia voluntad de los interesados han dado origen a formas novedosas y alternativas de posicionarse en los diversos contextos, aunque con distintos alcances y logros. Finalmente, dos capítulos abordan la problemática desde un orden teórico- metodológico en los que se discute conceptualmente la noción de pobreza y desigualdad y las posibilidades de incidencia de los grupos subalternos; y otro donde se considera la posibilidad de realizar mediciones cuantitativas en relación a la pobreza y la riqueza. Es a partir de esta diversidad de cuestiones, por su origen y envergadura, que se configuran las "alternativas desde el Sur"
