    The Impact of Psychoeducation on Healthy Diet in Children with ASD during the Covid-19 Pandemic

    Covid-19 has created new habits in society, including for parents of children on the autistic spectrum. Parents become less confident in food that is processed outside the home, however Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF) food ingredients which can be beneficial for children on the autistic spectrum, can be acquired and prepared at home. This research is an experimental study using One Group Pre-Test Post-Test and sample selection of purposive sampling technique. There were 3 people who consented to be the subject of this study. The instrument used was the comprehension instrument which consisted of 3 aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. There was also a control table for the application of the healthy diet to children to validate the consistency of parents in adopting a healthy diet after receiving psychoeducation. The analysis technique used the Mann-Whitney with the results showing a significance of 0.046 (p <0.05), which means that there is a different in the score between the pre-test and post-test results in the subject group. The results show that a GFCF diet education improves parental understanding of the healthy diet of Children with ASD.     Abstrak: Masa remaja merupakan periode perkembangan dimana individu mengalami banyak perubahan di berbagai hal. Perubahan-perubahan tersebut secara langsung dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan sikap dan respon remaja dalam menghadapi persoalan hidup sehari-hari, data di SMA Negeri 8 Malang, dari tahun ke tahun masalah siswa, seperti motivasi belajar cenderung menurun, kesopanan dan tata cara siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan guru menjadi sorotan. Pendekatan psikoedukasi dengan tema pemberian informasi seputar bagaimana membangun komunikasi efektif pada guru perlu diberikan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi seputar dinamika remaja kepada para guru, dan memberikan pendekatan penyelesaian masalah yang lebih sesuai dengan kondisi dan tahap perkembangan remaja. Psikoedukasi ini diikuti oleh 65 guru dengan metode pemberian ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari psikoedukasi ini diakui oleh para guru dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih terkait dengan kondisi remaja dan bagaimana cara pendekatan yang sesuai, para guru juga menyampaikan bahwa psikoedukasi ini membantu untuk menyusun strategi dan pendekatan pembelajaran di kelas. Abstract: Adolescence is a period of development in which individuals experience many changes in various. These changes can directly affect the formation of adolescent attitudes and responses in dealing with problems of daily life, data in SMA Negeri 8 Malang, from year to year student problems, such as learning motivation tends to decrease, politeness and procedures for students in communicating with teachers in the spotlight. A psychoeducation approach with the theme of providing information about how to build effective communication with teachers needs to be given. This activity aims to provide education around the dynamics of youth to teachers, and provide an approach to solving problems that is more appropriate to the conditions and stages of adolescent development. This psychoeducation was attended by 65 teachers by the method of giving lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The results of this psychoeducation are recognized by the teachers can provide more understanding related to the condition of adolescents and how to approach accordingly, the teachers also said that this psychoeducation helps to develop strategies and approaches to learning in the classroom
