    This research aims to highlight how to prevent LGBT cases that initially occur to primary school student since they are susceptible to be the victims of pedophilia. During this age, they still think concrete, so that they must get proper and correct understanding to protect themselves from LGBT cases. This was an action research by providing counseling services to children: group counseling and information services. The main issue was how to built the students’ awareness in protecting themselves when they interact to the foreigners. This research involved 15 five grade students of Islamic primary school in Pekanbaru and 30 fourth and third grade students of Public Elementry School in Bangkinang. The findings suggest that most students were interested in joining couceling sessions especially in discussing personal issues.     Supervision on Transference and Counter-Transference Issues for Undergraduate Students’ Counseling Practice at Counseling Department

    Undergraduate students should take 4 credits for counseling practice subject in Counseling Department of State Islamic University of Riau. The subject is taken by seventh semester students who conduct counseling practice at senior high school for 3 months. Based on prelimenary study, majority of students acknowledged that they felt nervous to follow this programme. Thus, the problem of transference and counter transference issue for undergraduate students counseling practice must be answered by their supervisions. The result showed that a total of 93% of respondents had positive transference, while 7% of them had negative one. It means that majority of respondents felt positive transference, while internship students faced identification counter transference. It was proved that internship students did not need to have negative thinking of being rejected by the schools. The finding also showed that 97.3% of interenship students faced identification counter transference, while 2,7%  of them experienced for unidentification of transfenece. It means that there were a few of them should be supervised to have good counter transference. Supervision format that done by supervisor (university teacher) and tutor (high school teacher) was by conducting monthly meeting and by following up counseling result and writing report.      Minat mempunyai peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran, karena dengan adanya minat, siswa akan lebih konsentrasi, semangat, gembira, tidak mudah bosan, dan bersungguh-sungguh dalam belajar. Sehingga dengan demikian siswa mencapai suatu keberhasilan belajar. Minat belajar dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam diri dan dari luar diri individu, salah satu faktor dari luar diri adalah dukungan orangtua. Minat belajar siswa yang tidak terlepas dari dukungan orangtua karena orangtua adalah orang yang sangat urgen dengan diri siswa. Dukungan yang diberikan orangtua berupa dukungan emosional seperti kepedulian, perhatian, motivasi kepada anak (siswa), dukungan penghargaan berupa dorongan positif atau reward, dukungan instrumental berupa fasilitas belajar, biaya, dan dukungan informasi berupa petunjuk, saran, nasehat, berbagi pengalaman yang diberikan orangtua kepada anaknya yang berperan sebagai siswa dalam belajar.     Counseling is a ’multi refential’ science which is developed from several sciences and other theories.  In the theoretical perspective, counseling must not be regarded as certain view of providing assistance process, rather, it is a body of knowledge developed from various sources such as the influences of certain techniques, the rise of a status as well as appreciation of subjective individual element, understanding of human’s development and knowledge of society.  Counseling process that is not based on theory will mislead councelor and reduce the opportunity to change the client’s behavior.  Islam regards counseling as a virtue as many verses of the Quran and Prophet Tradition (Hadith) discuss the practice of counseling.  It is important for the counselor to master Islamic teaching approach so that they can fulfil the needs to future religious counseling
