Rheumatoid Arthritis is a heterogeneous, symmetrical chronic autoimmune inflammation of body joints, it infects the population with a ratio reaching 1% of the population's world, and it can lead to bone erosion and deformities, and finally damage. Smoking is one of the important factors that increase the risk of RA infections by aiding in citrullinated protein production, CRP increases in RA patients and binds with the severity of the disease. The aim of the study is to evaluate the CRP and smoking effects on RA patients. 150 blood samples were taken; 100 for RA patients and 50 for healthy control, the patients were taken from the Baghdad Teaching Hospital / Rheumatologically Consulting Clinic in the period from November 2021 to February 2022. The ages of patients range from 22 to 72 years old, and 26 to 62 years old was the age range of the healthy controls. 2ml of venous blood was taken in a gel tube for the CRP test by agglutination method. The result of the current study shows a highly significant differences between the RA patients and control groups in family history and CRP. While, it shows a non-significant difference for smoking. The conclusion of the current study was that CRP and family history associate with rheumatoid arthritis, and the smoking is not associate with RA disease

Synthesis of novel Fe3O4 nanostructures surrounded by Ti-MOF nanostructures as bioactive and efficient catalysts in three-component synthesis of new pyrazole derivatives

Synthesis and reporting of new nanoparticles with diverse properties is important in chemistry. A one-step, rapid and controllable synthesis of the new Fe3O4 surrounded in Ti-MOF nanostructures was carried out with microwave technology. After identifying and confirming the structure, Fe3O4 surrounded in Ti-MOF nanostructures was used as a suitable catalyst with high thermal resistance and recyclable in a three-component reaction of phenylhydrazine, malononitrile and aldehyde to synthesis novel pyrazole derivatives. Continuing investigations on Fe3O4 surrounded in Ti-MOF nanostructures, its antimicrobial properties were tested on Gram-positive bacterial species, Gram-negative bacterial species and fungi bacterial. Identification of Fe3O4 surrounded in Ti-MOF nanostructures with morphology and size distribution technique (SEM), surface area technique (BET), Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Energy-Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX/EDX mapping), and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) were performed. Synthesized pyrazole derivatives with Fe3O4 surrounded in Ti-MOF nanostructures than previously reported methods have less synthesis time and high efficiency. In antimicrobial properties high effects were observed based on MIC, MBC, and MFC values

How is Human Trafficking for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation Represented? : A Case Study on EU’s Policy Documents

For many years human trafficking has transcended national borders and posed a major challenge to countries around the world. The European Union is one of many supranational organizations that has prioritized the eradication of sex trafficking on their policy agenda. Public policies not only contain aims and approaches to achieve objectives, but they also contain a problematization of the issue at hand. The way a phenomenon is constructed in public policies can influence society and its citizens in terms of how the issue and those involved should be perceived. The aim of this study is to examine the way EU represents sex trafficking in their public policies. In order to achieve the research objective, the following two policy documents by the Union have been examined, namely Directive 2011/36/EU and The strategy towards the eradication of sex trafficking in human beings 2012–2016. A discourse analysis has been applied in this study. The method of choice is Carol Bacchis What’s the problem represented to be. The questions presented in Bacchis approach, and the theory of Governmentality has been applied to analyze the policies at hand. The result of this study showcases that human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation is constructed as an issue of inadequate legal action, crime against human rights, benefiting gender-based inequality and jeopardizing democratic values and the safety within the Union and its member states. Trafficking victims are represented as forced participants in trafficking, a perception that doesn’t necessarily correspond with reality. EU’s problem representation promotes gender stereotypes while also excluding and silencing other perspectives.

Reading aloud can be viewed as an effective teaching strategy that allows pupils to improvetheir English language skills while also increasing their enthusiasm for learning and assistingthem in constructing their own reading paths. The purpose of this study is to investigateteachers' perceptions and experiences of reading aloud in English, as well as their opinions onthe effects that reading aloud has on pupils' language development. In this qualitative study, five English teachers who work in grades 1-3 in primary school participated. The interviewedteachers came from three different Swedish schools where the socioeconomic backgroundsvaried. The data was collected by conducting semi-structured interviews. This study'sfindings show that teachers had a favorable experience regarding the effects of reading aloudin the communicative classroom and believe it is beneficial to pupils' language development. However, the data revealed that reading aloud is only beneficial to pupils' languagedevelopment if they are given additional opportunities to participate in text-baseddiscussions. Furthermore, our study shows that engaging pupils in text-based discussionsincreased their interest in reading English literature independently. In this way, reading aloudallows pupils to express their thoughts and experiences, resulting in increased commitmentand motivation to learn. Outlining a well-designed plan for reading aloud that includesdiscussions was also shown to be beneficial for pupils' language development

This research study explores to what extent reading aloud is beneficial for vocabulary acquisition. Based on research statistics provided by Eurostat (2020) the majority of students in Sweden learn English as a foreign language. Therefore, the focus of the study is based on investigating the EFL classroom in Sweden. The research question this study is based on is to what extent reading aloud is beneficial for teaching English as a foreign language in the Swedish school from grade one to three in terms of children's ability to learn vocabulary. The method used for this research to collect scientific journals, dissertations and related research that can contribute to this discussion and result of this study is collected through different electronic databases. The access to studies conducted in an EFL classroom was rather restrictive and therefore the majority of the studies used were conducted on children who studied English as a first language in preschool and grade one to three in primary school. Whilst the selected studies target groups differed in age, findings indicate that the benefits of only reading aloud have little influence on children’s vocabulary acquisition. However, findings also presented that using word explanation and repetition during read aloud is shown to be more beneficial for vocabulary acquisition.

The effect of treating •y-alumina with hydrofluoric acid on the dehydration reaction of ethanol was investigated at 325°C. The gas chromatographic column was used as a chemical reactor. The rate of formation of ethylene and ether was found to increase by such a treatment. The data obtained were explained by assuming that HF-treated alumina has exclusively Lewis acidityتستخدم الألومينا كعامل حفاز في تفاعلات الكحول الإيثيلي ا لى الإثيليين والاثير والغرض من هذا البحث هو اختيار تأثير معالج الالومينا بحمض الهيدروفلوريك على معدل تكون الايثيلين في درجة325 م .
